To add to this Mad.. What have you been doing by trying to get people to talk or bring people into being actively engaged in the game instead of hiding in the shadows as is your standard play? As least my voting, proding etc is getting information out there. I mean not all of us can have around 3% of the total game contribution and look as innocent as you do now..

But then you also didn't mean to stop my "prey" hunting on day one either did you?

I know I promised I'd get to you earlier, and I will later, but I've got to make this short as I've got some things to do this afternoon...

As far as 3% of the posting contribution, probably, but I generally don't post just to see myself in print, so it's not my posts about SouthPark, LMAOs, JMax UD silliness, or any giggle posts that are inflating the overall post count.

If some see it as lurking in the shadows, I can't help that, but with the available time I have, it works for me... I've caught my fair share of bad guys in the games I've played. I even remember dragging you off to the lynch block a few games back (you remember...you got all red in the face and started screaming to the other mafia team 'Madcrawdad's the Doctor! Kill him!,' and I wasn't even the doctor then, sheesh ).

While I certainly appreciate the fact that you seem to be trying hard to engage people, it's hard to ignore your wishy-washy voting record. It's actually a pretty decent scumtell known as 'vote-hopping' and it's scummy because it can offer scum a safe place to hide. Sometimes scum will hop on and off of their buddies, and if and when that buddy ends up lynched as mafia, the vote hopper will usually will be the first one to say 'Shucks guys. See, I was right. I should have gone with my original instints.' That's all... Sorry if I offended.

My voting is a huge downfall of mine in this game.. I hate voting out innocents when I'm part of the town and I second guess myself a lot.. A lot of my vote switching though has been attempting to get people to engage in the game. Thats why it was on LC and he started playing. I was hoping it would do the same for emo.

As for JM and LC they both look scummie to me, but when LC put out that det post I didn't think through my actions well enough and jumped back to JM because honestly I don't want to be anywhere near the vote that lynches an innocent DET.. But Z just posted something that makes a heck of a lot of sense and I'm going to take my time and mull it over and may end up changing my vote back to LC.

Also in my defense I didn't even say shucks or darn or any of those tells. I was ticked, upset and plainly stated I'll take my share of the blame for lynching Mal. HN said that I wasn't taking ownership for it in one post where I did say I do take ownership for it.. But I had prior to that posted to JM that I expected her to be on my lynch train for that vote and took responsibility for my voting. If you guys feel that my contributions thus far do not outweigh my voting then lynch me.. But all I ask is that you look at the overall picture of my performance before you do. And quite honestly give credit where credit is due in my hunting.

I think I may have figured some of this out, here's a theory. LChap is the Detective AND Mafia! He hoped by coming out we would not lynch him and the Mafia will not hit him because he is one of them. The problem with that idea is that joander wasn't Mafia and the Doc. and Det. are supposed to communicate, which it seems would have been a disadvantage to jo. It's crazy but it's Bob crazy, so therefore possible.

Well I have a late work day scheduled.. I'm hoping to plan my supper time around this evenings nightfall (hopefully I can find a wifi hotspot).. But there are never guarantees in my business. Just when you think things are going good, the fiber decides to disagree with you..

okay but if LC is lying and he isn't Mafia how is anything he just posted helpful?
I mean if I knew he was the PR for the Mafia I wouldn't hesitate to lynch him. BUt if he is innocent what is he hoping ot gain?

Because a DET armed with real information is more useful than a dead one and not getting any information Beth. But I'm thinking he was turned simply due to his lack of posting. If he is the DET and I'm not believing that he is because all players have not checked in since his little stint and the real one might be out there yet, outing yourself this early and without the doctor just doesn't make any sense at all.. Unless you are trying to save a mafia boss who doesn't need your investigations anymore anyway because the Dr is dead and he has the DET in his camp. So then all thats left to do is shoot us like fish in a barrel.

yeah But say he is and we let him live, how do we know he'll give us information, he won't and if LC really is the Det the Mafia Boss won't let him live knowing he's talking. I think this doesn't make sense, if we don't lynch him, then the Mafia will so isn't LC kinda well done?
