Any passer by would look at ACville as just another sleepy little town. What they wouldn't have known is that this sleepy little town is cursed. An eternal struggle between good/evil, mafia/town,and of course Vampires/villigers is waged for days with no end in sight.
But there is hope!! The last battle against two firce mafia syndicates seemed to be the final fight. Both mafia bosses found the collective will of the town to be to strong and quickly withdrew from the town. The next day the town rejoiced and celebrated, they had finally won, it was all over. What was unknow was that a deal had been made, for thier protection a sinster bargin had been struck.
The remaining towns people were startled from thiers bed by the sound of the lynching bell. They walked from their homes, some cried while others laughed, proclaiming that it was just a joke and there were no more mafia to lynch.
They gathered around the great statue of Bala, but tonight there was no glow, it almost looked asleep. Everyone stood silent and confused, but their confusion didn't last long. The doors of the once closed Townhall flew open, out stepped a hunched crippled old man. His hair was white and had receded
into a perfect windows peak. His wrinkled hands rested ontop a twisted wooden cane. He didnt speak, he didn't have to, everyone knew they must follow him inside.
Plauged with cobwebs and dust the old townhall showed it's age, but it still would serve for tonights purpose. Inside the towns people found at the center there was a table, and at its head sat the old man. They all took a seat.
The Old man explained to them that the price they must pay is 1 life. To stay safe they must sacrafice one of thier own. There were arguments and fights, but eventually they all agreed it was for the best. One by one each townie offered up a name. When it was over they left, but one person lingered. If they're heads were not hung in shame they would've seen the conversation between this person and the old man, but the event went unnoticed
Someone tonight is offered, and in return the great Bala will sleep.
