Day 1 is usually strange anyhow. I will start the game tonight around 8pm EST with Night for day 1 being 8pm EST on Sunday. I will let players join, up to 25 Max, until 8pm EST Saturday. No special roles really so this shouldn't be an issue.
 
I will be busy most of the afternoon and evening on Sunday. I have been told there is some sort of football game on TV.

I also will be traveling on Wednesday or Thursday (no flight plans yet) and will be playing from a Hotel until after the weekend. Lots of late night ramblings from me. My daytime play will be limited during my time out of town. I might get to read the posts during the day, but most likely will not have the time to post. This trip just came up, I thought I was going to be good until mid-month. I was home the whole time during the last game.

I probably won't get to post day 1 then. I have a raid tonight in WoW and play WoW with my hubby most of the weekend (but should be able to squeeze in some posts Sat/Sun). Mon-Fri I will be available most of the day and some in the evenings though. This is the primary reason why I stopped playing Mafia, but we'll see how this goes. The prospect of no power roles appeals to me since I know I wouldn't have time to be one of them.
