Mafia #26: Roadside Picnic the Game

The people of ACville meet in the assembly hall at the research facility. A noisy bunch, but mainly good people. The town is split on who they believe is a Stalker and the Military watch as neighbors point at newspaper boys, and barbers point at housewives. A case is removed from under the podium and a large disk is removed. Each side is engraved with an alien insignia. Grace is assigned one mark and Cory the other. The disk is tossed into the air...
 
Gracecat is grabbed by a few MPs and placed into a small plexiglass room, the door attached to the assembly hall is locked, there is no way for her to return to ACville. Her only hope is to pass through the Zone to the old highway that lies beyond. She turns and begs and yells that she is Innocent but the town has decided. The opposite door unlocks with a hiss and she steps forward into the dark unknown. She makes her way down to where the path ends and steps off. She is in an industrial park, an old dirt road with rusting equipment scattered about. As she passes a crane she brushes against something that looks like a silver cobweb. "Ekkkk!" she screams but then laughs it off and keeps walking. Suddenly she feels faint and her heart stops. The smallest things in the Zone are often the most deadly. She tips from side to side and falls into an old drainage ditch. The water boils from unseen creatures. An alien satchel floats to the top. No Citizen should have had this...

Gracecat was a Stalker. She has passed from this existence to the next.
 
Saddened by the loss of a comrad, the Stalkers leave the assembly. The Town seems so happy... They wait until everyone settles in and then sneak into the Zone to try and find something to make things better. One of them finds two small disks in a small nook in a dead tree. They have seen these before, they are scanners, able to ID any persons inner secrets. They chuckle to themself, "These should be useful!" and place them in a pocket of their black cloak. However, as they climb over a razorwire fence to get home the pocket is torn and one disk falls out. During the Night it is seen by a Citizen and picked up.

One Citizen and One Stalker now have a tech capable of One Investigation.

GAME ON!
 
Nice! Poor grace had to be evil in her first game...but good thing she is out:D

Anyways....

Cory is still a suspect that I am watching, along with Jmax, Jensons, Hn, and Ice.
 
Had my suspicions but couldn't pull the trigger. I was more sure of Jensons.

I'll have to look closer at Cory but just from memory I'm not willing to vote that way.

I still like Jensons and I vote to throw Jensons into the Zone I also think that a few people freaked that I put my name on her and then when LG did it really made them nervous.

Honestly, Cory has raised quite a bit on the stalker side for me. His posts about Ogre really stood out.

Sorry, but I do still believe there is something to Jensons. I did not "suddenly" come out against her as she said, I talked about her before and am still very suspicious of her. Jensons, it was more then a "feeling" it was your posts and the way you chose to word them that DID make me FEEL you are questionable.

You know I was trying to get on here and get my post made before nightfall, I can't help that Ice posted about her also. I had started the post before I was done with supper, then finished when I was done.

I have somethings to get done now and will be back later this evening with some more thoughts on Cory and Jensons along with a couple other things that stood out to me as nightfall got here.
