Mafia #26: Roadside Picnic the Game

The sun is low in the sky. In a few more hours the Stalkers will be out sneaking into the Zone via carefully planned routes so as to bypass some of the "nastier" things that dwell there. The Citizens are shuffling about ACville trying to finish up their activities before going to assemble before the Military. One such sad soul is rwspear, he is as happy as a clam, he just got his paycheck and he is going to cash it in. But a strong breeze blows the check from his hand and in horror he watches it float along in the breeze towards the edge of the Zone. It finally lands about five paces in along a section of the special sidewalk poured for the UN Staff to access. R.W. looks around and carefully takes a step onto the path, no problem he thinks. Two, three, four steps, he bends over and grabs his check. Victory! "Stupid Zone is so overrated." He spins a little to quickly and the very tip of his shoe just barely grazes a blade of purple grass...

Two huge purple roots spring from the ground on either side of the path, they quickly fold over on R.W. and he is bent in half more times than you would think a human could fold. The check, now stained red, slowly drifts to the ground. In a moment the roots and R.W. are gone...

R.W.Spear is Dead, he was a poor Innocent Citizen just trying to buy hotdog buns for his weiner-dog.

I haven't role played because it's a vicious game. I'm tired, I have a toddler with the flu and this is an environment that is easy to take things out of context.

Ice nitpicking my posts didn't bother me. Swayne didn't bother me. Being called scum in a seemingly off-topic comment bothers the hell out of me.

Then again, I'm sleep deprived. So either I apologize or you need to have a bit better respect to new and possibly ignorant players.

Gracecat having been a newbie not to long ago myself I understand where your comig from. Believe me no one here is trying to make you fell bad, or making anything personal, its just a name for all Mafia,stalkers,bad guys, etc. Please don't let it get you, its just a game.

And voila... we have the OMGUS over-reaction. You do realize that I just stated something felt wrong about it, right? I didn't vote you or even say that I suspected you.

It appears that the game mod has saved Ogre. Why would he do that? Is it a twist in the game?

I am not 100% sure if Ogre is cleared and I am still a little suspicious, but based on this morse code message, I will not be voting for him.

At this point I am leaning towards Coler. I am not sure if Coler is still playing, but he does have a vote out there, so he will not die a UD. I hope he is playing. I am going to do some work and think about a few things. I also am a little uneasy about the newbies. I think one of them HAS to be a stalker. Of the three, I am leaning Grace.

I really thought Ogre has told on himself and that he was a stalker. I also think the fact that Ogre did not totally freak out says something, but he could have gotten better at being bad.

The 'scum' line isn't a play on you, but your possible role. 'Scum' is a word used to indicate that the person is the bad guy in the game. We've had a lot of bad guy types (mafia, werewolves, vampires, mutants, politicians) that the scum is used as a generic, "I think this is a bad guy" term.

No offense was intended.
