Mafia #26: Roadside Picnic the Game

I don't think I'll be participating in any future Mafia games, I thought this would be fun, but folks are different now than the first 15 or so games. I remember when we all joked with each other, and the games were fun, and some roleplayed and some didn't. Just seems people want a very linear game now with no twists.

I'm personally enjoying the game and the format even though I haven't had much time lately. Don't let a couple old, crotchety, mods get you down!!

Twists aren't the problem. Not knowing what is out there and what it can do was the problem.

This wouldn't even be talked about if the tech devices had been listed in the game on post.

I did say there were techs in play in the rules, I wish I had posted my full explanation I had spent weeks refining at work, I didn't wish to spell it out. This was my first attempt to mod, I think parts worked and parts didn't, live and learn. Actually there is one more tech but I'm not going to discuss it here.

Ok, nothing more from me on this, I'll gladly rehash it after its all over.

#1- JL: Why are you seeking everyone else's input on me? What are YOUR thoughts? Feel free to suspect me or even vote for me, but it looks like you are trying to get other people to make a case (based primarily on LG's posts I might add) while leaving yourself deniability.

#2- LG: Why do you keep doing this? :wall: You're gonna hurt yourself.

#3- CL: So are you going to be unableto post because your uncle is visiting or because you'll be in Duluth?

What does duluth mean? Looked it up in the dictionary...not there.

I can post...just at certain times I will be gone.

We all messed up our 1st games we Modded. I love the format and the game play.The only tweak would have to be listing the techs.

I hope you come back and play and even Mod again. I like this format. Maybe a list of Tech devices would have been nice, but really it has not been over kill.

I agree folks are different, but I have not seen any personal attacks or anything this game, well I did accuse Coler of stealing my potatos. Besides that I think everyone has been on their best behavior. The role playing disappears after day 2 most of the time, so I have gotten over my despise of it and even like to join in. I do think the older games people had a better sense of humor. I know that I have lightened up. It is just a game...
