Mafia #28: The Play

I will say both hooked and Ice look rather guilty... which, not sure... from what I can remember of games past, it's trying to get people to focus on people that tend to be mafia-ish... it removes the focus from everyone else, subliminally removing the mafia from the spotlight.. while they lay in hiding. Could it be that both being higher profiles in the game, you both know that you will be initially scrutinized anyway so why not start early?

I think HNs posting proves he is mafia. He is trying to hide out in the open.He admits to being mafia saying he is my team mate, then he posts after I say the next person to post is mafia. I think he did both on purpose to make it look as if he isn't mafia. Also pointing out that Charlies vote for LOL is scummy to try and get LOL to vote for Charlie.

His funniest post yet is me being to excited, what would I be excited about? Its not my 1st game,its not like I haven't played in a while, its not like I haven't been every role already at one time or another.

I think HN is the excited one. I gave him an opening to get me and he is trying to take advantage of it.Its going to take more then 1 vote HN, you better rally the troops.

Ice ole buddy, sell that, lynch me, and help the town. I posted merely for reaction and you jumped in with both feet. You might be a bit excited, because you've been innocent (and owned) the last couple games. I think you have a role this game and came out of the gates too quick. Just an observation. Let night 1 be a 50/50 split... you and me. I've got nothing to hide and your early day 1 insinuation that you may be the vigilante is scummy as he**.

LOL you must have skimmed that post. I insinuated I was every role.

I'd be more then glad to go 50/50 but I think its to early for that. Not enough evidence in the 1st day to link you to others if you show mafia and when I show innocent it doesn't necessarily mean you are mafia.I'd be more then glad to do it once a couple of days are under our belt and voting patterns can be used in conjunction with our identities.

DD, thats a great plan. I'll have to try it one day but I don't think I'd ever get the other mafia team mates to agree to putting themselves out there so early into the spotlight.

I didn't skim at all and saw that, but you ended with the vig implication. Why insinuate anything if you are on the town's side? Trying to plant a seed of doubt for people in order to survive and hit us I think.

Actually I ended with the Don and Snitch roles.

Keep trying though maybe you'll eventually stumble across something to convince the others.

If I was trying to plant a seed of doubt I would have insinuated 1 role, not every single one. I think most everyone probably seen it was a joke post. Well everyone but you and DD.

You seem awful defensive. You're making this easy. Do you think that I didn't reread your post to know exactly what you insinuated and when? Post something he can jump on and the evil Ice will. Now you pull DD's name into it? I think she said that we both looked guilty... why are you taking it defensively?
 
Not defensive in the least, just pointing out that you are misspeaking and correcting it.

I know DD said we both look evil, that wasn't the point. The point was she took the exchange as being serious so the post must have also been taken serious though she backtracks on it above.

You are the one that jumped feet first into the opening I created. You're the one trying to run before you actually have the ball. You watch enough football to know that either you end up with an incomplete pass or a fumble, neither being good. If you get me lynched the consequence will be the same.

I didn't think anyone would be foolish enough to jump on obvious joke posts but then you came along. Was the opportunity to get me ousted quickly that exciting to you? Do you need a Kleenex?

If nothing else, you do make me laugh. You have NEVER come out so early trying to appear innocent as you have this game. I'm calling it as I see it. Period. I didn't see your post as a "joke post". I saw it as a foundation and see you backtracking on that now that it's been called out. If you're mafia (and I'm leaning more and more strongly to beleving that), then yes. I want you gone as soon as possible. Why would I need a Kleenex?
 
Hmm, interesting convo between HN and Ice. Not sure what to make of it exactley. They could be both mafia trying to distance themselves from each other, or one could be mafia and one not, or they are innocents whacking at each other.
