it sounds like most of you are playing the gut instint thing. jumping on the bandwagon, etc... instead of looking at the obvoius teaming up thats going on..

it wont be the first time this town has hung itself..I'm sure it wont be the last..

Zig, don't sweat it, the first day is always a bit nuts.... unfortunately, it probably won't get much better.

Plantling has a point about Grins and JM voting for her. I still find it odd the way Catfish got all riled up when I pointed out the inconsistancy in their vote for Ogre and how it appeared to be protection of Grins, but for now and in hopes of not allowing a train to form.

I retract my vote for Grins and vote to genetically test Zigman.

It may appear that Catfish was protecting Grins by voting for Ogre but then it may also appear you were protecting Ogre by voting for Grins. This game is making me paranoid. :drool: But atm the reason I wouldn't vote Grins is because I don't trust JM. IIRC, JM posts minimally as an evil. So even though I would have liked a response from her first, I'll go ahead and place my vote.

I vote to genetically test JM.


I'm also suspicious of JL and Ice for their votes on LG. I am slightly suspicious of Z for seeming to push the new players and insisting their alliance w/each other.

Well, it's my son's BD today so I will try to check in before nightfall, but will otherwise be busy.

The Blue Mist: It will develop once or twice, pre-determined before the game starts. It has some unknown properties. It may reverse any nightly genetic testing, or it could take an additional person out, or it could...bring new things into play.

...The day is warming up nicely, and the humidity isn't bad. The slight overcast almost makes the distant mist blend into the horizon...though most places do not have a horizon that shifts to and fro. Bala wonders if any of ACville's residents even notice it. He surely doubts it since some seem to be speaking gibberish with those funny dots and dashes. It has been a while since the town had this battle to fight...he wonders if genetic effects are still lingering from times past....

From what I remember (it seems like forever ago), the mist turned an innocent evil. I could be wrong though. I don't have time to review the last Bio game to be sure, but I might tomorrow. Anyone remember for sure?

Any other thoughts on this? Taking what Hooked said and looking back at the first post it appears that Bob's blue typing (he has used colors before as tells) could be an indication that we'll have a Blue Mist tonight?

What exactly did you get out of it Ice? And good question on the LG thing, now that we know she was an innocent..how did she know you weren't innocent? Hmm.

Being innocent, Lady G had no way of knowing anymore than any other innocent person knows. The only way Lady G could know if she was evil.

The fact that you put any weight to Lady G's statements about anyone not being innocent after knowing she was innocent makes no sense at all to me.

If anything this moves you up a notch.

Lol, oh I read the entire thread, you may not have though because if you did you'd have seen where I almost withdrew from the game due to a new job offer; that I announced meetings would have me away from the PC from 12-4'ish today; that I said people hiding in the thread was annoying, not that they shouldn't do it. Got to tell you Z, when people misquote me or infer things that are disputed elsewhere in the thread it has historically meant they were up to no good.

As for who I vote for...the person that seems the most mafia like. I did that, did you? If we both did we should have a clear conscious at this point and we can look at shifting that vote if it appears there is a compelling reason to change it. If you want me to change my vote to someone else..compel me because I'm not close minded about anyone other than LadyG at this point.

That dog won't hunt. Yes I well aware you said you would be busy. Doesn't mean you should quote dump three hours before Night and bring up a whole new suspect for us to have to assimilate. Maybe Ice is your top suspect, I don't know. But it should be obvious he is not going to be sent packing tonight, so why not fall back to a another candidate that maybe already has some votes on them, that may have a chance of being voted out? Are you afraid to attach your name to someone who may actually get voted? I am voting right now for Zigman, I am voting for Zigman because they are Evil in my opinion. I have other suspects that I have named some have votes on them right now, and some don't. I moved my vote off of Zigman earlier in the day to try and bring the number of suspects down, but then more posts occured that have strengthened my opinion that Zigman is Evil. I am not telling you who to vote for, and I am not speaking only to you. I am asking for the town to try and reduce the number of people with votes on them because otherwise we will only have a small number of people that have to account for what happens at Night. If you can't see that then I can't help you.

I'll answer the questions directed to me 1st then delve into the rest.

Earlier Grins asked for a synopsis of what I did in past games. In a nutshell I acted like I was evil,those who claimed they thought it was a plan and I was innocent were the ones that ended up being evil. I fell for it one game but not the next.

Grins also asked what did I get out of the morse codes. I believe it told me 1 person I can pretty much write up as innocent. I won't say who but I won't vote for that person.Others are pointing at him right now and based on that persons reactions and responses to the code there is no way they are evil IMO.

The reactions grabbed by others from the code also tells me a lot. Some might take more time to figure out as I have to see how it all plays out,LG being innocent did throw me, but I still think Ogres overreaction including his list of evils matching with Zigs list tells me they are evils.

I'll have to also look closely at players that said it was no big deal but didn't join in on the fun and also the players that did join in but sparingly. They could be evils that figured follow the crowd to look innocent.

How could LG know I'm not innocent even though she turned up innocent? She still couldn't either way. Only the evils know who is who. That question in itself peaked my interest on you Grins. How does LG being innocence bear any light on if I am or not? Me thinks you are trying to use this as a way to pull votes my way.


Now for the other posts...

Most everyone that plays mafia is invisible, we just found that its easier then being questioned on why no posts were made.Not everyone has time to post or is at the comp all day. It has no bearing on who is what.

I like that Zig seems really defensive to the point that he is answering others posts to different players. Plus after all his reading he came to the same conclusion as Ogre. Which IMO is weak at best. I can see 1 or 2 maybe but 4 out of 5 being mafia? Zig also pointing out that we could

I like all the questioning. 1st days have been so very slow that I've felt compelled to cause drama.

Unless LG had done something to make me think differently my vote would have stayed. It started as a joke vote, DrG LG, but her reaction to the code made me wonder if I wasn't on the right track.



Right now my top suspects are Ogre and Zig and Grins.

Grins thoughts on me -

John, the morse code doesn't make me think he is innocent or guilty but what I consider his overreaction to others being annoyed by it has peaked my suspicion. Especially now that we know LadyG was innocent.

I posted these because Ogre has says he agree with Grins thoughts about me. Maybe there are others, but these are the most recent ones I found.

Ogre, I have peaked your suspicion from overreacting to others being annoyed? I think you could fall into this same catagory.

I meant, are you willing to change your vote to someone else.

Now Ogre has voted for Ice, so it is not a wasted vote. I do think it is odd that you posted a lone vote so late in the day.
