I retract my vote for UhOhChongo

At this point they are still a suspect, but I think there are better canidates out there. I am worried that the most vocal players are making themselves the best targets. There are a few that don't seem to be particaping much. Below are four players that have posted as many times as Lady G on her real SN (twice - wing nut only once).

[AC] narwhal - First one to post, would expect them to post more often.

[AC] Doomsday998 - I think they were one of the last to place a first post.

[AC] Gunslinger - Posted about Lady G and a "scummy feeling about nemisis"

[AC] wing nut -Another late for their first post - then posted that they did not trust anyone.

There can be something said about how mafia would not want to be in the bottom, while I can agree with that to a point, I am fairly sure that different mafia members will post differently, they will not all be in the middle. By not knowing how people have played in the past, it is hard to judge by post count. I do think in this format, these low post counts should be looked at. I am okay with voting for any of the four listed, my top choices are narwhal and wing nut.

Well, wanted to get a couple thoughts out there before I'm off for a while today.

Oh, I didn't completly IGNORE the question addressed to me, you wanted to know if I WERE PROTECTING DOOMSDAY, I responded to that specificly with DO YOU THINK MAFIA WOULD PROTECT EACH OTHER.

No, I am not protecting this person not in anyway, just questioning your reason for a vote....I got a response which is what I wanted. What better way to figure people out and get them talking then to question them right? I said I had suspicoun on you I questioned you I got a response...that is what I was looking for. Thank you.

6) I don't know why, but this post struck me wrong. I thought, on the first read, that it was a noob mafia admitting to purposefully not protecting fellow mafia. Rereading it, I understand what was posted, but the thought seemed to have merit, because t crossed my mind, and so there might have been a subconscious reason for it.

7) I don't like the tone of TreeHugger's posts. Or of CNotes, but this could be an OMGUS feeling creeping in.

8) lol. I think it's funny to see people trying to change up the posting style, using different vocab etc, but only sometimes.

9) Will read some more, look over things, and vote before I go to bed.

Alright, I've figured out who G is. Just bear with me folks. The below is from my post 126 which I copied and pasted from G's post 125 before she deleted it:


The quotes didn't carry over but HI IQ's post was highlighted red by G, then she asked him the question, "Was I not to take that as you have not played but read the games before?"

I went over the posts to see who had been conversing with HI IQ and in post 124 he had asked Driver8 where he played the noob card and G was posting to answer him but not as Driver8, but her usual sign on. Now this doesn't mean much except that Driver8 had been trying her best to make others think I could be G. I can't think of a reason G, aka Driver8, would want to do that except to draw negative attention my way knowing pple suspect G to be Mafia, albeit in disguise. Would a townie do that to a fellow townie? I think not, therefore

I vote to lynch Driver8.

Subject to change only if a better candidate comes to light.

So Hammer are you looking for an award or what here? Maybe I am Lady G, maybe I am not, really if I was I couldn't say anyway...but I would like to point out something, maybe Lady G saw this as an opportunity to "set me up" also. NO, I do not think you would of done that it would be to obvious..
If she logged in and seen the way we were going at each other over her...she easily could of posted that then thought twice and tried to remove it before it was caught.
Again, I did not try to convince anyone you WERE in fact G...I made one statement about the post being all over, you took it from there, in every post after that I said..It doesn't matter to me if you are or not.

Yep, the responses are pretty close...so still doesn't mean I am mafia. I answered a question, oooooo yeah that is mafia tell right there.

Anyway, I can not say yes, I am or no I am not Lady G...come to your own conclusions on that one....but what Hammer has pointed out about me DRIVER 8, really shows nothing but a townie trying to find the evil and answering questions as they come.

Hmmm... no one jumping on Driver for discussing mafia tactics. I agree with the statement that they won't be obvious.

I would remind everyone that only 3 of the mafia know each other. The Big City Don knows the others, but they cannot communicate with him or vice versa.



You know, I don't think it's ever been the case that a skimming player was mafia. However, it's a great tactic for the mafia to latch onto.

Anytime you get two or more votes, it could be considered a train, expecially when there's no stated reason for the second vote... i.e. just following along. Trains are generally bad for us townies.

People really need to state reasons, the more the better for each vote, even a first day vote.

My current top two choices for voting would be Tiburon and Nemesis. I most emphatically do not like how tiburon has arrived at several of their statements and choices. That being said, I agree that Nemesis has twigged my mafia sensor with several remarks and exchanges. It's not something that I can really point do, but it's more about the whole thing.

I think it would be beneficial if everyone would state who they would vote for if the vote were due in a few minutes after they read this post and why they would vote that way.

Like I said, I think I would vote Tiburon, because of the things they have said and because it would also give me more of a clue on Nemesis.

Two things alarm me about this post.

#1: I can remember several instances where players who were mafium and were discovered because they had skimmed the thread and then posted.

#2: You state you would change your vote to me, because of "the things I said". Hoping to get a nibble here? Why not just vote for me now? Is it because you don't want to start a train, just ride one. Explain to me, as you would to a child, how knowing if I'm innocent would give you more of a clue on Nemesis? It just so happens I'm highly suspicious of Nemesis, and HI IQ. Add yourself to that list.

I realize you cannot say you are G as it says so in the rules and role assignment e-mail or pm. It doesn't matter if you've posted a thousand times as G, that doesn't make one evil, just silly. Distancing yourself from G with insider info about her (yourself) at the same time casting suspicion on UHOH, I believe, who had posted outside the thread. Kinda an evil thing to do, I should say.

If I had to guess who G is I would say probably UhOh___, but since I don't and it is pointless to belabor it at the moment, I'd rather concentrate on analyzing the actual posts themselves. Some interesting responses did come up IMO. Someone, Driver 8, I believe said that I might have slipped and was hinting that I knew G's alt id. I would think that even the Mafia aren't allowed to reveal who they really are to each other, so that makes no sense. So for now Driver 8 has my eyes, but since it's just the beginning of the game, I will hold off voting.

My posting style seems like hers..that's funny really since every game I have played with her, she seems to be all over the place and "scatter brained" (no offense there G). I don't see that from my style, I have named who has made me wonder and why...but I'm sure getting some interesting responses...Tree hugger came on and answered me and honestly their answers eased me a little, not saying it cleared them completely in my mind..but it did ease my thoughts a small bit. As far as spelling errors, well there are many players with spelling errors, letters typed backwards, and everything else which normally one would correct, but we can not edit in this game so yep, there are many typos in this game. Again, you seem to be dwelling on who G really is.

Well, I do not want to keep going back and forth about the same subject, as that does nothing to really help the game out, but I need to answer a few things here so not to be "called out" for not answering.
I didn't ever say you were G, and the only reason I have continued to say anything about it is because YOU keep adding it in your posts.
I don't think your intent was to "out" G, I had a feeling that maybe you were trying to divert away from the fact actually...that is why I asked if it was a slip...your wording just seemed to be trying to hard IMO.

I will agree with the fact that it does look that way posted, I know a game a while back someone posted a "edited" post and I couldn't figure out what one part meant, and that is exactly what it ended up being...what they had written under their SN.

Back to this post which you declined to comment on. Yes, I remember that game well, Driver. You (G) were on a team w/Ogre and Brains2. Brains2, aka Wheezer, made that edited post that Ice caught and you couldn't figure it out, or so you say.

It is obvious now that I straightened it out who LG is, Hammerhead, and it makes me lean you more innocent for your posts about it. But I am not sure she is Mafia just yet. I need to go back and reread how that whole bit went down again. I don't like Nemesises vibe, but I don't want to vote on what is probably a character they want to play. But it is mean spirited. IQ isn't responding to it very well either. Meanie.

I reread everything since that editted post last night, although I would have rather curled up with a book. Driver/Lady G is being deceptive, I agree with you on that Hammerhead, but I think she was just doing it to save face. I can't find any evil intent. I wouldn't feel good voting for her for just that one mistake. I don't have a strong feeling on anyone really, but narwhals recent posts were full of teddy bear stuffing and marshmellow fluff. That has to make you go hmmm.
