So, I've read a bit more, and am not happy with my vote. I'm gonna try to get on again before nightfall, but don't know if I'll make it.

I retract my vote for maelstrom.

I vote to lynch no one.

But you were so sure. What possibly changed your mind? Don send you a PM saying not enough intrest in them yet?

Also you never answered the questions in this post, was this the reason for the change of heart? don't know what to say so instead of trying to wing it you hope that by retracting i will forget?

I would remind everyone that only 3 of the mafia know each other. The Big City Don knows the others, but they cannot communicate with him or vice versa.



You know, I don't think it's ever been the case that a skimming player was mafia. However, it's a great tactic for the mafia to latch onto.

Anytime you get two or more votes, it could be considered a train, expecially when there's no stated reason for the second vote... i.e. just following along. Trains are generally bad for us townies.

People really need to state reasons, the more the better for each vote, even a first day vote.

My current top two choices for voting would be Tiburon and Nemesis. I most emphatically do not like how tiburon has arrived at several of their statements and choices. That being said, I agree that Nemesis has twigged my mafia sensor with several remarks and exchanges. It's not something that I can really point do, but it's more about the whole thing.

I think it would be beneficial if everyone would state who they would vote for if the vote were due in a few minutes after they read this post and why they would vote that way.

Like I said, I think I would vote Tiburon, because of the things they have said and because it would also give me more of a clue on Nemesis.

These comments bother me for some reason. Is it backpedalling? Kind of an "Oops, I goofed and better try to stop the attention on me" thing or an honest, "I goofed" thing?

Hi IQ is reading as not so much and starting to concern me a little.

LOL any way you want to slice it thats an OMGUS vote. Saying it isn't doesn't make it not so.

I have no problems with anyone posting thoughts but the way they are and when they are posted is what gives me concern.
Its only the first day barely 24 hours in and you want a list? anyones list this early will have serious flaws.unless someone majorly makes a mistake and gives them self away. from these lists the mafia can and will use them as ammo against not only the innocent that looks the worst but also the innocents that have someone they aren't real sure about and flip flop a little or even if that innocent thought a mafia was innocent and its turned against them as protecting.
Lists are great, but usually they aren't even close until after you see a couple of voting nights/lynches and hits to find a commonality.


Then you want us all to pile on 3 players? Again to early for anything like this, even if we're lucky enough to have one of the three mafia it doesn't mean they will be the one to go. with 17 players and 4 total mafia they could all sit on there own players and let us lynch the 2 innocents.

I admit I mixed you and old3toes about hi iq. You both feel connected to me and i must have read that post with you in my mind.

Now the tiburon and nemesis is intresting. If Tib is evil, then Nemesis is probably innocent. If Tib is innocent, then Nemesis MAY be evil. Thanks for clearing up the obvious. so basically nemesis might be evil or innocent.


I'm not sure of anyone at this point, to already have the team picked out you must be a mafia god, but i'm more sure of you then i am of anyone else at this point.

Actually, there's not a lot of piont in voting for you now. There's not enough interest in you from others.

To the rest of the town: I'm willing to switch to Tiburon if there's any interest in doing so.

It looks like the big push will be on Driver and C-Note, though.

Wow, that's the fastest train on totally nothing I've ever seen. It really looks like Treehugger and Tib are protecting nemesis (the Don?) Less than 10 minutes between Tree and scoop. That's way to fast. And so near the deadline. Those three have got to be communicating. There arguments are also total crap to anyone with a brain.

I would encourage the rest of the innocent townies to examine their arguments and mine and determine who's not making any sense.

I thought I explained my reasons pretty darn well, treehugger. If you can't see that a vote of one on Tiburon is wasted when there are two on Maelstrom is wasted, then you really aren't that bright. I guess I'll chang eto Tib though, just to make you three happy.

scoop has been totally useless and just votes with the crowd.

If you three don't think I've given opinion about others and pretty good analysis, then you haven't been reading.

I guess I have the most votes now, or I'm tied with the most.

I've got a RL issue about in about 2 hours local time. I'll check back after that and see what needs to be done.

My only question now is whether Maelstrom is the local Don and the others (two mabe, but probably not all three) are protecting him OR I seem to be a convienent target of opportunity.

Tib still hasn't even commented on the fact that I answered all his questions 7 hours before he posted them. I wonder if he's read anything at all.

To make Tib, tree, and scoop feel better. I retract my vote on Maelstrom and vote to lynch Tiburon.

Here are the reason i am voting you old3toes.I know you answered the questions but the answers were less then satisfying coupled with an OMGUS vote.

I have to say that Hammerhead is making me look at driver very hard. I will have to go back and read the exchanges again but from what i read and remember it looks like hammer is hitting the nail on the head.

since my posts smack of false help then you must agree with old3toes helpful post. but i don't see a list? why would you not put out a list with a poster you agree with?

I agree that even though pple are busy in RL, they should still try to make their one post a day count. And I've gotten used to some pple's schedules and posting habits so I can't even say if I know someone is purposely hiding out or not this game.

Well, I will try to check in between now and then but I've got dinner plans with the little lady and will not be around for this nightfall. I feel comfortable with my vote, though. More comfortable than most first day 1 votes barring the surprise rare first day investigations and seeing stones.

Fellow townies, we need to come to some sort of agreement here. I have eight votes on six different players. We really need to pick two (or three at the most) and pile on them. That's gives us the best chance of identifying mafia. Remember they want us totally divided and unable to defend against vote switches and the like.

This is the end of the speech that Old3Toes made. Apperently he is running for mayor or something. Also in the post he states that everyone should have a running list. I think the list idea is good, but the timing is bad. Way too early for making lists and assumptions. It is also way to early to make speeches. I do agree that being spread out is not a good idea, but being piled up on two or three at this point is not good either. Being Divided into 2 or 3 groups is still divided. I am sure at this point Old3Toes is wishing he was not one of the players with votes piled up on him. I know I have a few votes, but I think it is mostly from posting, plus someone "thinks" they know who I am and that makes me guilty. While I strongly believe that at least one of the low posters are mafia, I also think that most likely a vocal player is mafia. Not all of the quiet ones are mafia and not all of the vocal ones are mafia.

I vote to lynch Old3Toes

I think they are trying to be overly helpful and trying to push people into certain directions. There has also been some other real good points made about him being mafia from other players. I think he is the best canidate - for lynching that is.

With 17 players, piling on 2 or 3 will just give them more room to hide, than they already have. Tha technique works when it is further along in a game or with fewer players.
