Mafia 31: Bounty Hunter Edition

Basically Z, you are accepting bkw as Bounty Hunter.

So...based on last night...who are the choices for mafia...RB ? You know I could almost nearly just about accept that Ogre might have put that after nightfall post up to try and immunise a mafia colleague.
But you're picking me as mafia after I come in with 3toes on Ogre and get us a scalp ? I'd be thinking you would congratulate us before naming me as Don my friend.

Lol i thought that too.......but that would be border line cheating.

I'll tell ya what though, I'll go away and sit in a corner for a while, and you come back with some thoughts on who my mafia buddies are, just so's we can see where we are.

You know, I really just do not know. What I do know is the fact everything has been so off this game and ppl I thought for sure to be mafia, came back innocent this whole round has thrown me for a loop! So I have decided that the ones that would "seem" less likely mafia...most likely are. Heck...maybe RB is too, maybe you all played the town very well this round!

You, I'm not really sure, Rb..I just do not think he is, unless he has been changed, Z I have already stated I just don't see him playing like he does as mafia, 3toes I am unsure of but have innocent (could of been changed). BKW is the one I have the strongest feeling about, I can't help it...and I do not believe he is the Bounty hunter, I just don't. I do however think it was a good way for him to try and bring the real one out.

I'm thinking Lady G that you would have to have completely different thoughts about ZS if he was to say change his vote to vote for BKW because if he did that he would be voting for who he believes to be the Bounty Hunter, i.e. someone he presumes innocent.

Now, if bkw is the Bounty Hunter, ZS is going tonight on BKW's hit, apparently...if he is not the BH then the town is being played...but, BKW can not cancel the lynch (if is not bounty hunter) if he is playing the town.

Here's your safety play for ya - vote for me and stick me up for the lynch. If me and bkw are playing the town I will be lynched and deserve it good you got your mafia (hah). If bkw is what he says he is, and I believe him to be, the votes mean bubkiss because he's taking his shot anyway.

Now doesn't that make sense ?

Or does this make more sense - last night, Old3toes and me took out Ogre (woot)...Ogre tried to take out RB and failed...me, Old3toes and RB are presumed innocent at that time. You and Zs - we don't know ...Leaves BKW who claims BH at this time. If BKW is telling the truth the mafia have to be contained within you, ZS and the turn unless the mafia made a ridiculous play which again, makes no sense - it would involve leaving the Don (me or RB presumably) in a 3 way tie for a start.

So how does that sound ? pretty safe to me.

There is of course a possibility that there are only 2 mafia - and 4 townies. I don't think so but there you are. So lets have 4 townies out here and active with some analysis, thoughts etc. I nearly have an open mind (well not really ))

OK Guys I've really had a think about it and this is not my last post at all.

Basically, Ogre posted his transfer to RB before he knew he was dead, i.e. he was genuinely saving himself. Ogre then is proven mafia. The scenarios :

Ogre & RB are mafia, Ogre is Don and hitting RB for the obvious reason that it is not in the mafia interests to risk the Don even in a 3 way tie. Excect we know that Ogre is not the Don.

Ogre and RB are mafia, Ogre is hitting RB for naked self-preservation; complete break down of team relationships. I consider this unlikely based on how well the Mafia has played this game over Day 1 and Day 2.

Ogre is saving himself and hitting RB as an innocent; this makes sense in one particular way; if the Mafia know they are turning, and who they are turning, this lynch (unless the BH does something) plus the turn, leaving 6 players Day Four (again unless the BH does something) could in fact win the Game for the Mafia, coupled with their turn of a townie. This is most likely for me, at this point in time.

Consequences of me being correct about the above; RB was not turned...because Ogre tried to take him on the lynch.

Cast list :

RB - heavily leaned innocent
Scoop - I am of course saying I am innocent - myself and Old3toes take a bow for calling Ogre last night.
Old3toes - presumed innocent last night...could have been turned.
BKW : Ogre is calling BKW innocent before he dances the Newgate Skedaddle last night. I was pointing this out that he knows BKW is innocent...protecting him or enlisting him to support Ogre. I don't know yet.
Lady G I don't know but I've leaned Mafia since the start.
ZS I don't know but I've leaned Mafia since the start.

From last night, before we killed Ogre if I'm right, then Me, Old3toes and RB were all practically known innocent. That leaves BKW, Lady G and ZS for the mafia..of which there can only be two maximum based on the fact that even with the turn, and 6 left playing, the Mafia do not out number the town. (i.e all three can not be mafia).

I think a marker has been put down by somebody who is claiming BH. For another set of reasons I might even be inclined to believe them.

In any event, all efforts need to be focused on picking a lynch candidate from ZS, BKW and Lady G, unless the turn practically comes out and admits it (go on you know you want to) I'm currently not liking ZS and Lady G as innocent. Sorry 3toes but I believe you may have been turned on the basis that the Mafia know BKW is innocent, and you as a turn can continue on consistently in the vein of last night, to campaign against him.

Come on people give me some feedback here. This is very doable tonight with a bit of thought. Silence assists the mafia today.

Heheh I just reread BKW's post - lol he claimed BH and I didn't see it. Skimming Shwimming.
OK Guys it is simple. If there is someone out there who wants to say I am the real BH then bring it to us immediately. If BKW is telling the truth then the postion last night was :

Ogre - mafia
RB - innocent
Old3toes - innocent
Scoop - innocent
BKW - innocent
ZS - unknown; my mafia suspect
Lady G - unknown; my mafia suspect

And it could well be that ZS and G are in fact both mafia.

You all know who I have said almost from the get go I believed to be mafia. For me, above is the position if BKW is truthful on being the BH. Lets hear from the real BH, if BKW is giving us a load of BS, and quickly.

check on rules Ice - order of events; does the lynch come before the turn ? I presumed so but would like to be sure.

Since the turn takes place of the hit i think this order still applies.

What really happend though is i sent a pm to Ice 30mins before nightfall with instructions that if i am lynched to save me and hit gun, and if i wasnt the number 1 lynch to let it go through as normal.

I want to stress that there are no choices in Mafia. He said to hit Gun so Gun would have been hit either way.

Okey Dokey. I may not be back on this evening. I really hope we get a lynch vote on BKW - basically waiting for RB to do the business.

BKW I am thinking that if ZS is the don they simply will have to kill you tonight, because they will have lost their hits. If ZS is not the don you may survive - but probably not. We will put up a spiffy statue to your Bounty Hunteredness.

Either way, great call in coming out when you did.
