What I don't see is anything in the opening post about communicating innocents, except the doctor and the detective. Someone has said there was something in the sign up thread I think.

Ok DD if you feel that Pix and i are on a team and he and i are lying. Be my guest and vote me off for the next nightfall. this way im just an innocent it will prove that Pix is telling the truth and you guys still have the Det. and doc. Because if you look you will see that Pix says after night fall that the doc can still protect them. So that tells me the doc is still with us. But if you still dont want to trust me like i said please for your own like bit of faith in the newb vote for me atleast you will have the det to find the scum. I have nothing to hide.

I investigated Catfish on night2. RB pm'd me and said that he's innocent. I didn't expect to survive the lynch, and because of my health, I was unsure if I even wanted to survive. I wanted you guys to lynch the mafia, after I was gone. That's why I posted and said 'I KNOW that Z is mafia'. But I didn't reveal that I was/am the Detective.

I must be honest, DD is bucking to be the target of 'tonights' investigation.

It's not there. In the PM that RB sent to me and the Dr he states,

you two can communicate outside the thread

there are two other communicating innocents, but no one but you two know that

I still don't know why pix is able to claim detective so definitively in everyone's minds. First night, two communicating innocents were killed, and the game instructions - this thread at least - says that there were only two communicating innocents, the detective included. Pix had nothing to lose by saying that they knew ZSand was mafia, they had already been under suspicion for two days. I think it was just a lucky guess that happened to work out.

Any newcomer to a community tries to blend in, regardless of being innocent or mafia, so as I see patterns I try to follow. Everyone else accused by Ogre voted for Ogre, so I did too. As the discussion develops, I will likely change my vote.

(I started this post this morning, so there have been continuing conversations I have not read; apologies if my concerns have already been addressed.)

Where did you get that they wanted to hit you ? I see nothing that says you were the target of the botched hit.

I wish that the hit victim was revealed. Maybe I was wrong about RB's use of the word sole and only the Grouchos attempted to hit that person and RB didn't want to reveal that person in the narration in case the other team decided to hit them as well next nightfall. Keep in mind that the Grouchos got the investigation the first night and this would not have gone unnoticed by the Harpos. With that said I'm not so sure I was the target, though I am the Thief and per the narration it was my oven where the intended victim passed just feet away. Regardless, I am a target now so I'm trying to get my ideas out and would like any comments to my previous discussion about the possible Mafia teams. When I played this format before there were distinguishing traits about the players in each Mafia team.

another thought I would like to go on.... Pix, I think it was a huge mistake for you to come out so soon to claim the detective role. I think there may have been better ways to go about it... I think it may be too late to say who we should investigate, you just might be gone after night is called. You just surrendered yourself to the mob.

The Thief...this person can stop a lynch or hit from happening. On the one time they can function, they PM me and let me know what they want to steal, the lynch or the hit. The PM must be sent as soon as possible after a nightfall (beginning of a new game day), for use the next night.

And why would I wanna stop a hit if I were Mafia? I used the hit because I felt the Mafia do have a good idea of who the other team is as they would know the distinguishing characteristics that made themselves a team. Therefore they would also guess at the other team pretty accurately and be less likely to hit the other Mafia. Both nights so far they have aimed true at the innocents.

As far as Pix coming out, if I guessed it by his whopper clue of knowing who ZSand is, I'm pretty sure the Mafia would have picked up on it also. My guess is he came out because he wanted to allay the towns fears and get discussions going on who he should pick for his next investigation.
