Mafia #33 - Bruce Campbell Vs. Army of Darkness

So, at 7:17 PM, Chill votes Jensons in post 886. That brought the tally to:

4 on Chill - jl rb ogre jens
3 on Jens - hk lady chill
2 on rb - bkw jdge
2 on Lady - dawg plnt
1 on Jdge - pix
1 on dawg - cap

with 2 no voters, DD and Aqua

At 7:21 PM, DD votes Lady:

4 on Chill - jl rb ogre jens
3 on Jens - hk lady chill
2 on rb - bkw jdge
3 on Lady - dawg plnt DD
1 on Jdge - pix
1 on dawg - cap

Chill is the lynch and there is a tie for second between Lady and Jens.

At 8:33 PM, I switch to judge:

3 on Chill - jl ogre jens
3 on Jens - hk lady chill
2 on rb - bkw jdge
3 on Lady - dawg plnt DD
2 on Jdge - pix rb
1 on dawg - cap

A three way tie...no lynch.

You asked why I did it? Mainly because I am not convinced of anyone's guilt as of yet. Lynching an Innocent doesn't really tell us much, in this type of format, IMO.

What tells us more, is the vote changes that occur after a dastardly move, like I made. I did my vote change 30 minutes before nightfall. Nine of the 15 players were watching the thread from then until nightfall. Some were visible to you, all were visible to me. Some responded, and some didn't.

As I expected, it turned into a who can "vote switch" party. The excuses are going to be: "I lost track of the votes", "we were posting at the same time" and other sorted stories that will include "I was helping the Town".

At 8:36 PM, post 901, Lady, the first to bite, laughs at my vote switch. Repeat, she laughs at my vote switch.

At 8:43 PM, post 907, Lady states that there isn't a three way tie, and she doesn't like Chill as the lynch. My vote switch to judge, saved Chill, the person she does not want Lynched.

At 8:43 PM, post 908, Lady announces "Rb switched!", stating she forgot about it. Odd that it has only been 7 minutes since she commented on it.

At 8:50 PM, post 916, Lady votes to lynch me, but fails to retract her previous vote. If the vote switch was good, it would have maintained a three way tie. But it would have been between chill, Rb, Lady vice chill, jens and Lady.

At 8:53 PM, post 921, Lady retracts the improper vote placement on me, and votes Jensons, which is where her vote really is.

At 8:54, post 923, Hooked switches to Lady:

3 on Chill - jl ogre jens
2 on Jens -lady chill
2 on rb - bkw jdge
4 on Lady - dawg plnt DD HK
2 on Jdge - pix rb
1 on dawg - cap

Lady is being lynched.

At 8:55 PM, post 927, dawg switches to rb:

3 on Chill - jl ogre jens
2 on Jens -lady chill
3 on rb - bkw jdge dawg
3 on Lady - plnt DD HK
2 on Jdge - pix rb
1 on dawg - cap

Bringing back a three way tie.

At 8:56 PM, post 929, Hooked switches to Jens:

3 on Chill - jl ogre jens
3 on Jens -lady chill HK
3 on rb - bkw jdge dawg
2 on Lady - plnt DD
2 on Jdge - pix rb
1 on dawg - cap

At 8:57 PM, post 930, Lady switches to me:

3 on Chill - jl ogre jens
2 on Jens -chill HK
4 on rb - bkw jdge dawg lady
2 on Lady - plnt DD
2 on Jdge - pix rb
1 on dawg - cap

Rb is the Lynch! "Oh No, Mr. Bill!"

At 8:59 PM, post 933, Lady switches to Jens:

3 on Chill - jl ogre jens
3 on Jens -chill HK lady
3 on rb - bkw jdge dawg
2 on Lady - plnt DD
2 on Jdge - pix rb
1 on dawg - cap

9:01, Z calls Nightfall.

Lady caused the three-way tie with no lynch...not me back at 8:30.

If you can't track where the votes are, maybe you shouldn't be randomly posting votes, as you do in your posts at times.

I seriously believe their is more at work in all these vote swaps, than the single evil (at that time), trying to arrange things.

It was indeed dastardly and I want to hate you for it, but I'm more convinced in Jensons' guilt than your's.

I retract my vote to lynch Rb and vote to lynch Jensons.

Oh, yeah...I laughed. I laughed because someone asked for a vote count, while I was trying to post the list, you changed you vote...I posted saw your change and said "LMAO, except RB just switched to JMax"...so yep there was a laugh with it.

You dear caused all the crap from last night....you and you alone, do not try to blame others for your doing. Had you MAYBE made some sort of statement like I don't know "I don't feel right about voting Chill" or ANYTHING...but NO, you did it with the sole purpose of causing chaos, plain and simple.

A tap dance, my dear, as I noted earlier that you would spume forward with.

Face it, the only reason we lost a lynch is your ability to throw votes out randomly without knowing where the vote status was.

Then you say how I announced the switch...I didn't "announce" it, I at the time didn't realize the actual tie you had caused when you moved your vote...HN, pointed it out and it hit me what exactly you had done.

Although I have to say it, is sure showing quite a bit on your behalf where you have turned this in to my fault.:)

I would also like to point out how much you tried to say Jensons and I were "sounding alike" and so on, I believe AS I said before you really thought I would come off Jensons and move my vote to Chill to try and save myself. That would of been the only option at the time, you were TRYING to force others to break the tie YOU caused by your vote switch.

Whatever you say Daddy O:headshake2:

I would like to state that I am going cycling in Abita Springs tomorrow (oh yes there will be beer ;) ) and I am not sure when exactly I will be home. So Night will fall as soon as I am able to get in front of the computer. It will be no earlier than 8PM CST, but may be a bit later. All votes made up until I call Night will count. Carry On.

I could say the same about you, but I feel you were totally lost last night, and throwing random incoherent votes out there is foolish.

In fact, you broke the tie and had me the lynch victim, but then switched to Jens. If you are so firm on my guilt, you should have left your vote there. You would have lynched an Innocent and gained your precious knowledge while doing so. Today we would be listening to all the "I'm sorries".

I made my vote change and caused a tie early enough for all to participate, even though only a few did. You haphazardly thru your tie vote out their with no comprehension of where things stood.

Again to you whatever you say Daddy O:)

You knew what you were doing when you did it, and caused the chaos you so wanted:grinyes:

So...would you like to share what it is you learned??? After all the crap that went on for you to learn whatever it is you say you wanted to learn...what was it?

I have to go have supper now, hopefully you will share this great wisdom you have now, and we can put it toward getting a evil one.

this is telling me, rb that you knew exactly what you were doing in the fashion of tying things up then... am I reading that wrong?

and this confirms it. But explain something to me, rb...since it is that you made your vote change so that everyone had time to switch, why when you saw people weren't, didn't you?
