Okay once there is more than one corrupter and there is communication can the newly corrupted tell the original corrupter that he/she is the corrupter.
The first day is there for you to use, as you will. It's up to the town to decide if, or how, you will work together.
In the rules, 'How to win' if the town has decided that they know who the corrupter is, the town, must name their suspect. If the town gets it right, the game is over. If the town gets it wrong, a second Corrupter is generated (via another quick and dirty shell script that I wrote).
In the event of the generation of another Corrupter, the town will be notified that there are now two. In order to win in this scenario, the town must name the original corrupter. If the town names the second Corrupter, the 2nd Corrupter is changed back to a normal citizen. The 2nd Corrupter cannot become corrupted, while acting as a corrupter.
I've played games like this, in person, and they are fun, but do require coordination and thought.
I only partially answered your question.
1. If you figure out who the Corrupter is, you can win the game.
2. If you figure out who has become corrupted, you can use them as a clue to the identity of the Corrupter. Once corrupted, you cannot become uncorrupted.
HEY...why do I have to be the evil one.I think I get it. Let me try:
1) There is single person among us that is bad: The Corrupter.
2) Each turn we each make two votes: Who we trust and who is The Corrupter
3) If we all correctly name The Corrupter, then the game is over and we win
4) If everyone is wrong about The Corrupter (no one voted for them), then another The Corrupter is chosen randomly (there are two)
5) If you vote to trust The Corrupter, then you become corrupted (i.e evil (like LadyG)
6) corrupted players may communicate to disrupt the town, but they don't know The Corrupter either.
I think that's the gist of the whole thing.
It's starting to sound more fun. The strategy and tactics will be VERY different though.
HEY...why do I have to be the evil one.
So the actual "Corrupter" never knows they are the corrupter....but do they know they are corrupted, just not that they are the corrupter?
I'm sure once we get going, we'll understand more.....LMAO, well all be newbs:grinyes:
