They are players that are using an alias name. They've PM'd or emailed me to join. Who they actually are isn't really important. Why they don't want to be known could be.

They could be players that are very good at helping out the town and are often hit by the mafia team early or they could be notoriously good evil players. They could also be players that usually post alot, but can't this time and don't want to get voted out for their style. They could be new players that want to play their first game anonymously or they could be players that wish they hadn't chosen their user IDs and don't want to look at it throughout the game or they could be... something else. ;)
