for the record, jm.. could you explain this bolded statement. I just want to make sure I understand what you are getting at here. I never mentioned jbradt's vote nor anyone else's... I won't even consider right now that jbradt's vote isn't the only vote to shank at this point... until I hear this explained that is...

I'm going back and forth with this whole say who we are investagating thing. First I thought, yes..it would be a good idea then we could see what direction everyone is going and maybe we could come together and get them...then that same thought is what makes me think maybe not. If the snitches know who we are investigating it could help them more then us at this point. I do think as the game progresses it would be the best way to come together, but at this point I'm not sure it wouldn't be more help to them then us. Does that make since to anyone? Now, definately if you use your invest and find a snitch it should be known IMO.

Maybe as the game progresses and we start to see things unravel, I can agree with that but for now... I think things are too up in the air and we can't be sure who to trust in the first place. With not knowing who to trust... how can we even begin to come together...

and yes, your post makes heaps of sense to me...

you keep mentioning trust, but clearly in this game there really is noone you can fully trust, almost like you are trying to get the trust of others.

As for the thought about all of us announcing who we are voting for I've been thinking about it and I'm not sure its a good idea. Not only do we not know who to trust but it might lead the snitches to the PRs since the PRs only know who is on their team. Say I named LG as innocent and we were both PRs. I get beat down and they then know LG is also a PR because I couldn't know anyone else. Whoever is the 3rd PR would need to be named by LG since she wouldn't know the anyone else but me or them.

Is this how the game usually goes, everyone arguing? Am I just being too sensitive? I know the objective is to find the snitches and vice versa but to just aimlessly point fingers seems useless. But then again, I don't know how you are supposed to figure it all out.......:crazy:

welcome to Mafia 40, noodles... the thing is yes, there is a lot of finger pointing but in those pointing fingers, we are also posting thoughts. It's within those thoughts that we find inconsistencies and problems which hopefully lead us to the team we are trying to root out.

Sorry.. PR is Power role. In this case its Spy and Medic and the 3rd person they were allowed to recruit.

LOL, yes...it is how the game usually goes. You can never take anything personal ok, it is just in and part of the game...nothing said is ever a true "personal" attack, you just have to roll with it and give it back. Of course that can back fire too. Day one is always the hardest to figure out, believe me I was lost as heck my first round (some would say I am still lost LMAO)...anyway if you can make it past the first nightfall, it will all start coming together for you...as the game goes you'll catch it more and more. :wink:

PR means Power Roles...In this set up it would be the Medic, the spy and the one innocent that can communicate with them.
