I like a multiple choice approach, and I think this is the best idea for collaboration AND privacy/safety.

Ok, that would be fine on the first couple nights...but then once we have a lost a couple of our own, it would be a big advantage to the snitches...they could possibly get two innocents one night, then we take one of theirs I do not like those odds personally.

Or they could just say "the person I investigated was innocent"...IF it wasn't known who they investigated. I don't like the plan and wont be following it personally. There could easily be 2 snitch names in a row, possible more then 2 really...that would give them a "pass" so to say. Lets say I was a snitch ok, the person under me is also...or the person above me is...or there is the off chance they both are...well my name would not come out because the person who was suppose to investigate me is a snitch also, this would give others a false "security" about me so to say...then we also have to trust everyone investigated the person they were "assigned", I have way to hard of a time trusting anyone in this game to do this plan really. Sorry guys...I just do not like it. I understand the worry of everyone investigating the same person which would maybe not gain us much, but the down side I just don't like it. Ok. We wont say who is innocent, only if we found a snitch. That way we dont have to worry bout anyone claiming someone is innocent.

how bout this...

1. the spy gets an investigation. So the spy investigates the person above the medic, this protects the medic.

2. The medic protects the spy, so the beat down wont happen.

3. then the plan goes forth with ppl investigating everyone above them.

4. if, and only if, a spy is found then that person will speak up.....will not say so and so is innocent.

This should make everyone happy. No PRs will be harmed, no false innocents will be claimed, and maybe a snitch will get shanked.....that ok?
 
I don't really understand the idea of people above or below, or really much of that though. Half of the investigation comments have gone a bit over my head, maybe I'm just too distracted right now with everything else going on.

Well, if/when it happens lets hope of the 2 it is the spy the medic can protect them. Anyway, if it does happen then well we would know who the snitch really and they would be taken out also.
I just do not know if I like the idea of everyone know who is investigating who..another possiblity to this, I announce I am going to investigate so and so, or everyone follows the "plan" well then the snitches will know who is investigating them..this could be very bad for us as they take out each person who had them as their investigation. I just think it gives them to much information to work with if they know exactly who is investigating who.

Then the spy would be protected by the med, and the beat down would be wasted, or the spy could just not reveal two snitches.

Im done discussing this, it's taking up to many pages and nothing is progressing. If you want to do it say so, if you dont then dont.

I just do not like the idea of the snitches know exactly who is investigating who, why do you want them to know so badly BKW? It is starting to bug me a bit here and not looking to good to me that you are pushing it so hard, sorry I think the ones who would gain most from this would be the snitches. Of course we wouldn't announce innocents found, but at the same time if I don't announce my outcome...well then everyone assumes the person above me must of came back as an innocent, if I were a snitch this could work out VERY well for me don't ya think?
 
whoa! this is getting confusing. I personally do not like the idea of sharing my info with people I am not sure I can trust. At this point, I feel safer as a loner - maybe a dumb mistake, but I have to see how this plays out the first night or 2; I am too confused right now to contribute to the plan.
 
I like the plan that we can announce a list of people we feel are suspicious, with the idea that we'd investigate one of those three. We could see if 10 people plan to investigate the same one or two persons, and broaden the variety there. Even if there are individuals who don't really get investigations because of a role, they can still list their 3 suspicious people, and whether people reveal their investigations, well if we all did it wouldn't necessarily help anyway, but those who come across snitches certainly could, and it'd then be up to decide how many add up to facts. There's nothing really to lose with that idea.
 
Ok, nightfall is tonight...I think we need to discuss more who is going to be shanked tonight, there are so few votes out there which it usually about all we have to go on, on night one, who votes who, what reactions it brings. I would like to know more about what ppl think about who they are going to vote for, or who they find off and such instead of so much who will investigate who. I will start with what I think at this point....

Neon- Her "case" toward Dawg and then vote for me with just a "gut" feeling does not sit well with me. Not because the vote went my way, I am use to that...but when one brings out things about someone then puts their vote else where, it just seems like a wishy washy sort of thing. I know in past games we had it was like pulling teeth to get her to put a vote out on night one "because she was afraid to vote, since the person may be innocent" then to come out and vote on such a weak reasoning..even adding "voting G on night one has always been a joke"..I mean come on NJ.

Dawg-Things just are not setting well with me, but then NJs "case" and vote elsewhere makes me wonder...is she trying to put doubt on 2 innocents? Then I think, well maybe they are team mates and she put the thoughts out there just to make it look good to her if he is shanked...she can add, "see...I thought he was guilt".

BKW, the way he really wants to know who is investigating who makes me wonder. First yes, I see putting an idea out there....but in the end it just made me feel he just wants to know who is going to investigate who.

JB-Many of their posts seems so "un" newbish...I don't know they just strike me as off for a new player.

I would love to see others opinions on the players, thoughts about who seems off, what way we are looking for a shanking tonight.
