Mafia 46: In the Dark

Opi woted for MC we are not sure why. Didnt post much but gathered that there was no information to be gained anyway so I will just vote, hopefully she will form an opinion or two today.

I explained my exact thought process for that vote. But, if you don't want to believe me, there's not much I can do about that.

Yeah i still cant believe i had a melt down because of this game never thought it would be this nuts. all i want to do all day is check it and see if there is anything new.

I know, I am at work and playing online could casue me to lose my job - but does this stop me?! NO! It is so addicting.

LOL... welcome to the addiction known as mafia.

While anyone can sit back and wait for useful information to appear, another method is to actually kick some bushes, yourself, and dig for it. It's more fun to actually get into the pit than just watch and snipe from the seats, wouldn't you say?

As I said, looking forward to hearing more from you. :)

:iagree: So much more fun!! LMAO
Noodles quote is immediately after C-notes comment. Just throwing it out there for when she bashes me again for my 'traps' and kicking the bushes.

Here we go. my thoughts on all of this so far.

CJ said very little the first day, decided to vote on Ogre, then we had the I am stressed this game is getting me thing. I find it hard to believe an adult would get that stressed over an online game or really think the forum would hate him if he played badly. To prove he was really confused and not hiding anything the vote is back on Ogre. Today he seems to be playing just fine. the whole thing sends up all kinds of alarms to me.

C-note has been on everyone. Seems to be doing what an innocent towns person would do, try to get people to speak to see if he can pry lose that important fact that will help us come to a good decision. I would like to know what his list is currently.

Lucky told us all we had a bad first night. Agreed with a few comments made by C-note and has not really said anything. He is on my list.

Lady G supported Gun which turned out was correct. Is all over Ogre. either she is sure of his guilt or she has reasons to want him out. She has also pointed the finger at mael and Lucky. I am not sure about her.

Mael has been quiet since the vote last evening. The last we knew he thought DD was the best suspect.

John had that weird exchange with CJ and then voted for him. Something about that whole thing was just not right.

Ogre has gone out of his way to stay in the spotlight, had to tell us all that he was right and what the curerent situation is. He is firmly convinced that Noodles is the one that needs to go. How can you be that sure unless you know more than most of us can? He also does not like me because I voted for Guns. I had him number one long before he sprung his "Trap".

Noodles has spent most of her posts trelling us she is innocent and that we will regret voting her out. Little else to add except for her going at Ogre, I imagine mostly because she is number one on his list. She is my number one right now. Long way to go though.

MC has made a few posts agreeing with this or that, that someone said and seems to have his siights set on Ogre as well, definetly bears watching.

Couple of comments from the above:
RE: CJ, dude you haven't seen how much we can get into this. Please remember that mafia players have recieved a warning for being too into the game and letting things get out of hand. There won't be another one.

RE: C-note, I agree that C-note seems to be helping the town, in spite of a somewhat unhealthy obsession with mael on day one.

RE: LadyG is my choice for a turn into mafia last night.

RE: Noods, saying that she won't argue with me anymore, then posting all the comments I ever made... anyway.

RE: Ogre, yeah, I told you why I thought gun was innocent. I do tend to state my beliefs ratehr forcefully.

Rich, if I may ask a question, what happened between today and the last three game days? It seemed like you were barely here the first three days and then you pull out something that seems if not original, then at least rather insightful.

Absolutely not so. My "claims of innocence & regret if voted out" were direct replies to Ogre and not to be the poor victim in everyones eyes. I am not worried if voted out, it's just a game for crying out loud! I am just surprised (surprised may not be the right word but I am in a hurry)at how fixed Ogre is on getting me out of the way, from the very beginning. I have participated plenty aside from my interactions with ogre...

I guess not everyone has insightful, helpful wisdom to share and are just trying to find the mafia the best they can as well as stay alive, cause it's all about the numbers, isn't it?

I could swear I said I did not want to argue with you anymore "after" I was finished commenting on your quotes.....

I spent most of my lunch hour going over this. I enjoy the game and realized if I stepped up more , the more fun it would be.

Noodles, seems like half at least of your post have "I am innocent" slipped in there some way or the other.

If you say so.....Are half of the posts replies to Ogre? I really dont have the time to go back and confirm and I figure there are several others that would be happy to go back over everything I have already said....

BTW, I went back and checked! I mentioned not being mafia ONCE in direct reply to Ogre. Wow! That is proclaining innocence from the rooftops alrighty!

Well, as you pointed out and I stated, I eliminated some people from my list of guesses based on the fact they were posting too much or too little, and therefore less likely to be Mafia. That left me with 9 individuals. I had a d10 close by so rolled that (zero would have been a reroll).

You are quite fixated on this...

Not fixated, just interested. When questioned, sometimes the little details trip people up and stories start to unravel. Your numbers do check out, but only because you eliminated JPap (and although he posted a 'Howdy', he isn't playing in this game).

The thing that's odd (other than the fact you excluded JPap), though, is that you admit that you didn't 'trust your gut' enough to throw an actual vote. You did, however, trust it enough to remove those you leaned innocent from the selection process for your 'random' vote.

For Day 1, you must have felt pretty good about those you leaned innocent. Most people doing a true random vote, because they didn't trust their gut, would probably have excluded themselves only.

Obsessed with mael how? I was all over Dawg on Day 1.

Oh, my bad, I used my list of post counts...not the actual list of players. I had assumed that non-players were not allowed to post in this thread. Whoops.

Well, I never said that. I didn't HAVE a gut feeling on who was Mafia, only on who was not Mafia. It was really a toss up. If I have a gut feeling, I will let you know...but no one stood out last round in my opinion. But, I had to vote...so roll. I roll all the time for things in my RL...so if you knew me, you'd understand, lol.

Sure they do.

Comments are above in purple.
