Dawg, your question looks like you were unaware of Ogre's supposed trap explanation from yesterday, although it was talked about yesterday and today by a few people. How did you miss that?

So far, I think you're the strongest candidate for mafia there is. Based on:

1. Limited and generic/social posting through mid-Day 1.
2. Leaning DD innocent based on maelstrom's random vote, and then not even going after maelstrom until pushed to do so. Total blending move.
3. Apparently missing Ogre's so-called 'trap' explanation, which has been talked about more than once. Skimming?

Your post looks like you and Mael may have recruited Ogre last night. Or you and Ogre may have been recruiting Mael.

Item 1 is such a great tell seeing that the entire group of people posting on day 1 throughout the entire history of Mafia post as such on Day 1. Very insightful.

Item 2 has been explained several times over. I wasn't forced to do anything. I happened to be one of 2 people who stayed on Mael during the mass exodus close to nightfall. This is because I was happy with my vote...not for blending. If I wanted to blend I would have voted for Guns.

Item 3 believe me nothing was missed.

MC, you've gone from a late 'random' vote yesterday, to a vote for Ogre today, with no reasoning. Interested in hearing your thoughts.

I'm also interested in hearing responses to the several unanswered questions I've posed to you over the past couple of days. I'm starting to think you're avoiding me.

Here's one thing I happen to agree with you on c-note. The more MC posts the more suspicious I am becoming of him.

C-note do you think DD is mafia? Why would dawg assumption of DD's innocents because of mael's random vote make dawg mafia unless he was protecting DD?

DD has done nothing to make me think her mafia (or necessarily innocent) at this point... By moving DD on his list, though, Dawg was possibly trying to get the ball rolling on mael without saying so directly, so it wouldn't lead back to his door if mael was lynched and came back innocent. At the same time Dawg may have been trying to cozy up to DD. A move that mafia sometimes do to blend in... people sometime scrutinize players less thoroughly if that person befriends them.

Look at Dawg's posts regarding mael's vote for DD. Does it look like he's coming right out and saying that mael is mafia. No. But his moving DD sure implies it. Obviously he strongly believes, it or he wouldn't have moved DD. So why not say it? He doesn't want to make any waves.

Interesting vote but I'm not sure what you see with DD because you never mentioned it. I usually tend to think DD is evil for some reason...mostly because she is hard to read but this vote with no explanation has her leaning more innocent to me now. I guess only time will tell.

It is never too early to vote. Voting early does tend to get people talking at least. Hopefully something good can come from it.

I don't know. C-note, check me on this thinking. I don't know if you've ever played before (probably), but don't you think that a mafia player is (just by being a power role) is intrinsically more interested in the game and more likely not to skim?

I normally wouldn't expect Dawg to skim, but his question sure looks like it.

As far as mafia members not skimming, I disagree. Some do, some don't. They still need to post, even if they're not keeping up with the reading, so when they do skim it shows.

Pretty sure you've been busted when skimming as mafia, so I'm not sure why you're even asking the question. I'm wondering now if you're not last night's turn coming to Dawg's aid.

At this point I feel pretty strongly about Dawg, and am thinking that MC and possibly yourself are his partners.

Wow, you guys really don't read do you? I said he would make a good mafia and he would have. I never said he was mafia. I never wanted to vote for him, I never did vote for him. So why is all this crap on me now?

Probably because the mafia want me discredited.

LadyG is very curious. We get nothing from her for three days, then an insightful comment about how I look evil.

Noods still mad that I have a 'vedetta' against her.

Not sure about the others, just not thinking on their own and following the crowd I guess.

You'll have to understand something about how I play this game and I'm surprised no one has seen this. I think while I'm typing my responses. Putting the words on the screen help me think.

Now, about the trap. I think it was pretty clear that I had no intention of changing my vote early on. I was and am perfectly happy with my choice of noods being a mafia. Yet, when I suggest that I guns looks evil, all of a sudden, there is a mass exodous from mael (the easy high vote getter) to gunslinger. So someone must be listening to me because until I made that comment NO ONE had voted for gunslinger.

See, it doesn't matter what I said. If guns was evil and got voted off, then noods would be leading the charge "why didn't you vote for him". Since he was innocent, I get the "almost like you knew he was innocent all along"

I didn't think gunslinger was evil because of the exact reason I posted at least THREE TIMES. Because, on day one, mafia don't act that way!

However, they might very well act like noods. Since noods knew that gun was innocent, she could vote for him and blame it on me or take the high road and just claim I'm mafia.

My top three picks for mafia: Noods, Rich and (maybe) LadyG as the turn. That's all I can come up with right now.

First I don't know how "insightful" my comment was...but I can't help it if I do not get time for the computer as much as I would like, when I am on I read and comment. The posts you had made, and the ones pointing out your "rightness" really did not and still do not sit well with me, so yes I commented on them and yes I do believe they made you look evil. You keep bringing up "traps", with your mind and the way it works...I could also see the whole Gun thing as a "trap" so to say to try and make yourself look good if you are mafia and to me it sure seemed you were way to quick to say how right you were and then quickly adding the post of what you meant...yeah well that didn't look to good to me either.

As for how everyone switched to Gun after you mentioned him...I think you may be giving yourself to much credit. I really do not see the reason for the switch myself, as I never really saw Gun as Mafia so I don't see what everyone else thinks they saw..but I'm not so sure it was just because of what you said.

Please, consider the situation up to that point. Gunslinger was all but invulnerable. He was leading the charge against mael and almost everyone in the game was agreeing with him. Who better to act as the goat? Besides, I had previously made some comments about him and thought that mael was more or less innocent at the time too. I couldn't very well pick you could I?

How was I to know that everyone would drop mael like a hot potato and jump on gunslinger?

That's why I think at least (probably two and maybe three) are mafia. The leaders of the VOTES for gunslinger had no real reason to switch... until after my comments. Then and only then did they say something about him being scumy for being so aggressive (or whatever they said).

Now consider this point. The one person whom I declared that I thought to be the most mafia like was THE FIRST PERSON to follow my lead. Doesn't that strike you as odd? Noods disagreed with me. Thought I was nuts. etc... then all of a sudden jumped in a direction that she thought I was leaning.

Does no one else see this?

I will admit, that yes IMO you are making a good point here. Although..I'm not completly sold that this isn't one of your "traps" to get another innocent lynched.

Oh so you read 498 then 501. Doesn't that mean you skimmed over 499 & 500? You should also read post 500. Posts 500 & 501 should answer your questions. If not then I don't know what else to tell you.
