Sure jbradt: As I said in my voting post, I found it odd that mael said that he didn't wish to present a case against DD. That means that he either doesn't want people to see his reasoning, or he has no reasoning but isn't brave enough to admit it. Either way, he is holding back something from ACville, and therefore does not have the intentions of tying to help the innocents which means that he has to be mafia.

And when you retract a vote, don't you need to say who your new vote is for?

"chat" doesn't always equal AC chat DD, I meant it as a blanket term for PM, AIM, MSN messaging, forums, etc...I am intrigued at how you automatically assumed I was talking about AC chat...

A lot of lively discussion. I tend to think that mael's was a random vote, which he will never admit now.

Lucky, Mael and Gunslinger seem to be having a good time stirring things up. I wonder about where they are aligned.

I also worry about those who have not spoke at all. We have another day for that to change so I wont put much on that yet.

Right now gunslinger would be top on my list. He is going out of his way to push others as candidates. I don't feel an early random vote is that important.

I automatically assumed this Gun because when "chat" is mentioned on AC.... that's the first place I think of.

The reason I said that was that I don't know why an innocent player with any experience would make such a big deal out of the first vote in the game. You are using an alias so therefore I am saying probably have experience.

I will clarify though if you were not using an alias but were playing like this and were an experienced player I would be wondering why as well.

If you were not using an alias and were a new type player I would be just thinking you were over-reacting and playing badly.

I am very curious of what Orge will say, I think his vague comment is worthless and it bothers me. Trying to guess who the alias are does not help the town discover evil. It is a big distraction. I am sure players thaat are playing with an alias are also changing their style a little.

Yes, it was somewhat vague because I wanted to see who jumped which way. I only got a partial darn it... that's OK. My vote hasn't changed.

The guessing the alias WASN'T THE PURPOSE OF THE POST. One, it's warning. Two, it was a feeler to see who jumped where. Three, you're right it doesn't really matter... unless I'm right about two things... who it is and how they are playing.

I agree someone is laughing there rump off in a chat room somewhere, but Maelstrom is about dead last on who that would be. Because, unlike DD's comment, I do think that the mafia wouldn't try something like that. There's no way it has any value for them. If they try it and no one comments on it (like I did), then they stand a really good chance of getting lynched and cutting their strength in half. If they try it and it works, then who's going to get looked at first when the target turns up innocent.

DD, I just don't understand why mael has avoided flat out saying if the vote was random or not. Which is why I keep asking. Every post is a little bit more but he/she has yet to say exactly why...I'm done with it now as they've admitted that they aren't going to give anyone an answer (which is a very anti-town thing to do IMO).
