Ok I will not be around for most of the day so i am placing my vote now. Nothing really happened to change my mind in the past day so

I VOTE TO LYNCH OGRE

I still have a gut feeling about him something just seems wrong. I dont like his explanation of what happened with guns the whole trap thing still does not sit well for me. And I was rereading some of the posts and this stuck out at me, I asked Ogre why he would say Guns would make a good mafia when he did not feel he was mafia in a game like this where the smallest thing can sway someone to think you may be mafia. He then accused me of not reading and just stated again how he never thought Guns was mafia. I think I clearly stated in my question that I knew what he said. Here is the posts I don’t know if there is a way to quote the quotes that where in that post but I couldn’t.

I still think Ogre is up to something seems to be setting up smoke screens to make everyone look one way then he says he belives something else.

This post realy has me thinking, in a game like this why would you say someone would make a good mafia, if you did not think he was mafia?
It seems like you chose your words verry carfuly just so you could use this argument after Guns came up innecent.

LadyG is very curious. We get nothing from her for three days, then an insightful comment about how I look evil.

Noods still mad that I have a 'vedetta' against her.

Not sure about the others, just not thinking on their own and following the crowd I guess.

You'll have to understand something about how I play this game and I'm surprised no one has seen this. I think while I'm typing my responses. Putting the words on the screen help me think.

Now, about the trap. I think it was pretty clear that I had no intention of changing my vote early on. I was and am perfectly happy with my choice of noods being a mafia. Yet, when I suggest that I guns looks evil, all of a sudden, there is a mass exodous from mael (the easy high vote getter) to gunslinger. So someone must be listening to me because until I made that comment NO ONE had voted for gunslinger.

DOESN'T THAT STRIKE ANYONE AS ODD?

See, it doesn't matter what I said. If guns was evil and got voted off, then noods would be leading the charge "why didn't you vote for him". Since he was innocent, I get the "almost like you knew he was innocent all along"

I didn't think gunslinger was evil because of the exact reason I posted at least THREE TIMES. Because, on day one, mafia don't act that way!

However, they might very well act like noods. Since noods knew that gun was innocent, she could vote for him and blame it on me or take the high road and just claim I'm mafia.

My top three picks for mafia: Noods, Rich and (maybe) LadyG as the turn. That's all I can come up with right now.

I'm going to have to do more reading and make a vote later today. So far here are my thoughts on my main suspects in no particular order.

Mael - Sure has been quiet since nightfall this is why I am suspecting he may have been the turn. Not sold on him though because he may have also been turned to a CI. Haven't decided which way I have him falling yet. I need to see some more posts from him.

C-note - Says he's not skimming my posts but he sure seems to be ignoring them. This has raised my suspicions of him. Not sure if he's trying to help the town or cover for someone else.

MC - He still has me very suspicious about him. The last several posts make me nervous. I'm not ready to vote him yet but I'm keeping my eyes open.

Ogre - Hmmm...I don't really know what to say but he totally has me feeling he is mafia. I understand the whole trap deal but something with the whole....I told you Guns was innocent...thing still doesn't sit well with me.

If I had to vote right now I think I would vote for C-note for the reasons stated above. Not as an OMGUS but because I still think he is covering up for Mael for some reason and Mael may have been his turn candidate.

Dawg, do you re-read this stuff before you post? C'mon, let's take a look at what you say:

Now, looking at what you've said about people, it would seem that you'd be more likely to vote Ogre or MC, as they are clearly the most suspicious to you. In fact, you come right out and call Ogre 'mafia'... so why would I be your likely vote at this point?

Although I've apparently raised your suspicions, you admit to not being sure about me, so your willingness to vote me over Ogre or MC does NOT make sense.


Now a few minutes later you cast your vote for me, but you note that you're willing to vote for any of the people mentioned in your post from minutes earlier.

I contend that you are lying. Just mere minutes ago you said that you were unwilling to vote for mostlycichlids...but now you are. What changed in the 7 minutes from your earlier post?

It's funny that you say your vote is not an OMGUS, but your list CLEARLY shows that you're more suspicious of MC. You also came right out and called Ogre mafia. Yet I received your vote, and you said you're UNSURE about me.

Dawg you are mafia, and these two posts absolutely confirm that in my mind.

People, please study these posts by Dawg closely, then read my arguments and see if you agree.

Twisting, how? You came right out and called Ogre mafia...you only said that 'I raised your suspicion, but you were UNSURE if I was trying to help the town or cover for mael.' You were pretty clear...no twisting.

With regard to 500 & 501, I don't see any questions from you, so what would you like me to say? What would you like me to respond to?

Nothing I've seen in the thread has made may all that eager to vote for anyone other than dawg, my night one vote.

So far as I have added anyone else into the mix for my vote it is likely Rich. At the moment this is a little bit of gut together with some of his posts which I'm going to re-read.

So Mael if you're worried about going why don't you vote for Gun and tie things up? Or are you waiting to see what others will do because you have already used your one retraction? Are you planning a last minute vote?

I would not vote for someone who I didn't think was the best candidate - ok maybe in a last minute thing to save myself I would, but a) I know what I am and b) not necessarily depending on who was the tie. Anyway, I wouldn't have seen the need to save myself at that stage last night there was plenty of time and I was comfortable enough where I stood.

Of course, I had used the retraction. So my vote for Gun would have been final and irrevocable. Gun turned out to be innocent. If Dirtydawg is mafia it would have been just lovely to have me put a nail in Guns coffin. This post is, I think, fairly characterised as manipulative.

Wow! This day just keeps getting stranger. A lot of vote switching coming down to the last minute. It should be interesting to see how this pans out.

A nothing post. Most of dawgs posts have little content. This one is typical. Its a post just for the sake of making a post.

Just an observation I feel needs some explanation.

Check the original post to see what dawg is going on about here. Something about Ogre wanting to vote guns but have a gut instinct not to. What's so strange about that anyway. Meh.

Oh so you read 498 then 501. Doesn't that mean you skimmed over 499 & 500? You should also read post 500. Posts 500 & 501 should answer your questions. If not then I don't know what else to tell you.

Glad dawg is comfortable with his vote. If he switches, see if he explains why.

So broadly speaking I still like dawg as a mafia candidate. You have a lot of garbage posts, attempts to manipulate and not a whole lot if any assistance to the town. He's either a mafia or he's having a bad game as an innocent if you ask me. That is where I am on him and he's my leading candidate for a vote on what is available so far.
