Here's my thinking so far....
I think it's far more important to get the murderer than get the troubled souls. If we believe John, we only have him and one other GH left. We need to get the murderer so that the number of troubled souls stops growing, so that is my goal.
Right now, I have no idea who to believe. Everyone...JL, Lucky, Ice...they all sound suspicious to me. I feel like they are trying to railroad me into voting for one of them, and I'm not comfortable with that.
If JL is lying, the he's a troubled soul, not the murderer. So, why would I waste my vote on him? Yes, getting a troubled soul would be great, but at this point in the game....not enough, in my opinion.
If JL is telling the truth, then Ice would be just another troubled soul, and Lucky would be innocent. So voting for either of them, would also be a waste.
If JL is telling the truth...then Lucky, Ice and John are all not the murderers. I can also take myself off the list. That leaves....Ogre, Noods, Rich, Pap, and Rickets.
Once again, if JL is telling the truth, one of those would have to be the other GH. JL said that the GHs know Lucky is innocent, so that would mean Noods, Pap, and Rickets are all not GHs since they all voted for Lucky. That means that either Ogre or Rich is the GH.
So, I think if I believe JL, my best bet would to vote for either Noods, Pap or Rickets. In this scenario, I'd be leaning towards Rickets, I guess. I get no evil vibe from Paps. Rickets has been kind of laying low, and shooting under the radar. I think there have been some good arguments for him as well. So, he'd be my vote.
Gah....there are way too many "ifs" here. I am 50/50 on JL....there are way too many loopholes in his story, and it doesn't make sense and sounds suspicious. BUT it's a fairly complex story to come up with if its just a story.
If JL is lying, then it seems like he's protecting the murderer. He called Lucky out as an innocent. Perhaps this is just an elaborate way to save Lucky's arse because he is playing the murderer way too aggressively. On the other hand, it kind of puts the spotlight on Lucky, and you think he'd be keeping Lucky in check. Because if people don't believe JL they are going to vote Lucky. This makes me think that even in this scenario the murderer isn't Lucky. JL would be, in a way, pointing the finger at anyone accusing Lucky, so we know these folks are probably not the murderer either...so Noods, Pap, Rickets and Ice. So this would only leave Ogre and Rich as candidates for murderer.... Which would make my vote RICH AGAIN!
Oh geez, look at the pickle I have gotten myself into! Either one of Ogre or Rich is a GH OR the murderer.
Now, the question...what do I believe is more likely? JL is telling the truth, or an innocent? Hmm...
Sorry for the looong and complicated post. I had to type out and organize all my thoughts, lol.
