Mafia #47 "Ghost Hunters"

I dont know. At this point JL story seems pretty far fetched; the fact that he suggests lynching Ice instead of turning him back to GH makes no sense, if it is the way he says.....why would you not want to increase the number of GH's? This seems to go against the objective of winning?

Pretty quiet.

Who are every ones suspect for a 3rd evil?

My top 2 are

Lucky
JL

of course.

My third isn't as easy, in no particular order

Rickets - questioned Lucky a lot, thought him evil till after nightfall then claims his innocence. Could be the turn

Opi - been sitting on Rich from Day 1.

Ogre- been quiet, not really much to go on

Rich Noodles and Jpap I almost have to put on innocent. Though any of these could have been the turn last night.

Rich jumped to lucky late in the day and would have been the kill vote if John didn't jump ship.

Noodles while I thought the entire game that she was evil the fact that there could only have been 3 evils at night fall and CJ was one leaves her free from being evil at that time.

Jpap just has not the entire game made me think he was evil. We've pretty much been on the same page since day 1.

Here's my thinking so far....

I think it's far more important to get the murderer than get the troubled souls. If we believe John, we only have him and one other GH left. We need to get the murderer so that the number of troubled souls stops growing, so that is my goal.

Right now, I have no idea who to believe. Everyone...JL, Lucky, Ice...they all sound suspicious to me. I feel like they are trying to railroad me into voting for one of them, and I'm not comfortable with that.

If JL is lying, the he's a troubled soul, not the murderer. So, why would I waste my vote on him? Yes, getting a troubled soul would be great, but at this point in the game....not enough, in my opinion.

If JL is telling the truth, then Ice would be just another troubled soul, and Lucky would be innocent. So voting for either of them, would also be a waste.

If JL is telling the truth...then Lucky, Ice and John are all not the murderers. I can also take myself off the list. That leaves....Ogre, Noods, Rich, Pap, and Rickets.

Once again, if JL is telling the truth, one of those would have to be the other GH. JL said that the GHs know Lucky is innocent, so that would mean Noods, Pap, and Rickets are all not GHs since they all voted for Lucky. That means that either Ogre or Rich is the GH.

So, I think if I believe JL, my best bet would to vote for either Noods, Pap or Rickets. In this scenario, I'd be leaning towards Rickets, I guess. I get no evil vibe from Paps. Rickets has been kind of laying low, and shooting under the radar. I think there have been some good arguments for him as well. So, he'd be my vote.

Gah....there are way too many "ifs" here. I am 50/50 on JL....there are way too many loopholes in his story, and it doesn't make sense and sounds suspicious. BUT it's a fairly complex story to come up with if its just a story.

If JL is lying, then it seems like he's protecting the murderer. He called Lucky out as an innocent. Perhaps this is just an elaborate way to save Lucky's arse because he is playing the murderer way too aggressively. On the other hand, it kind of puts the spotlight on Lucky, and you think he'd be keeping Lucky in check. Because if people don't believe JL they are going to vote Lucky. This makes me think that even in this scenario the murderer isn't Lucky. JL would be, in a way, pointing the finger at anyone accusing Lucky, so we know these folks are probably not the murderer either...so Noods, Pap, Rickets and Ice. So this would only leave Ogre and Rich as candidates for murderer.... Which would make my vote RICH AGAIN!

Oh geez, look at the pickle I have gotten myself into! Either one of Ogre or Rich is a GH OR the murderer.

Now, the question...what do I believe is more likely? JL is telling the truth, or an innocent? Hmm...

Sorry for the looong and complicated post. I had to type out and organize all my thoughts, lol.

I still have no idea where to vote. I just don't think JL is telling the truth. But at the same time I've been worried that me and Ice are thinking so alike. I'll have to check back later.

Normally I would be worried about that myself but the timing of the posts were to close so it can't be the "mafia latch onto program". I just think since we're so close in train of thought we must be the same role.

So you want to lynch Rich because you think he might be the murderer because Lucky might not be?

So you want to lynch Rich because you think he might be the murderer because Lucky might not be?

No, I want to vote for Rich because he is still an excellent candidate in my mind. He hasn't done anything to make me change my mind, and he's been my suspicion since the beginning, and I have yet to be proven wrong on this.

I really don't see Lucky as the murderer. I think JL is protecting someone else...and by process of elimination, I am left with Ogre and Rich. I've been suspicious of Rich all along, where as Ogre really hasn't caught my attention. Hence, why I am thinking of voting for Rich, yet again.

Ah, hell....g/o I have loads to do today and I am totally stressed out right now, I don't really have time to think about this anymore g/o I am just going to go with my gut...

I vote to lynch Rich.....again.

Pretty hare to lynch a ghost I'm guessing...........

I went back and did some rereading and found a few things of interest...

Here's JL's claim about he and Ice as GH's
CJ was not in communication with me or the Ghost Hunter that found me. I found Ice.

We found out Ice was turned by his actions at nightfall. He claimed he had investigated CJ, but since the three of us were communicating together, our ivestigation counted as one. In reality, Ice investigated Fire. He also made several other inconsitant comments to us in IM's. We changed our hit on CJ and our investigation on Lucky almost right at nightfall.

I am just asking for this one night. Take Ice's soul, let me and the other GH invest our suspect and report back. I just need for the Doc to protect me.

Then Ice put's this out there.
I can't believe anyone is believing this.

If this was true wouldn't it be a better plan, if coming out anyway, to ask the Dr to use his 2nd vial on me and switch me back to innocent so we have 3 GHs again?
It seems to me like Ice has been thinking about this more than someone who wasn't involved would be...and he comments that "we" (meaning he and JL) have 3 GH's again. Why would he say "we"? If he doesn't believe it wouldn't he have said "so YOU have 3 GH's again?

Then JL calls Ice out as showing evidence that he was in fact a turned GH as JL had claimed...
Is this enough evidence that Ice has turned????

Now this is the most interesting part to me...Read the part in BOLD. This is Ice's comment to JL's quote above...
Proof JL is lying. He is twisting posts

She fixed that post in a later post. Lucky was in the lead until you switched. Everyone thought Lucky was gone. Most you can get her for is skimming on this.

How is this evidence?

I said IF I was a GH it would make more sense for you to ask the Dr to switch me back then to have me lynched. Being a GH you would know you would need me back for numbers. To have me voted off isn't consistent with what a GH would do.
This seems like Ice slipped and let the cat out of the bag that JL was working with him as a fellow GH. There is no question here and I see no sarcasm...I see a clear statement from Ice. He calls JL a GH and says that JL needs him back for numbers. How does Ice know how many GH's are out there unless he was one or he believes John's story? What does the rest of the town see in Ice's comment here? I would like to hear from everyone if possible.

For now I am sticking with Ogre as my vote but only because I would like to hear from the rest of the town about their thoughts on Ice's comment above.

Rickets....

JL said there were 4. 1 died. That means there are 3 left. If I am a turned GH and the Dr turned me back it would be 3 GHs.

The entire content of the post you quoted started off with the premise IF.

And evil number 3 shows his face.....Thank you for making the search easier.

Town you have your 3 evils.

Great game to

The Murderer played by Lucky Dud
Accomplice played by John Larson
Turn last night played by AC Rickets.
