Mafia 50/50 The play..back to Basics..almost

Kash,

I am wondering why you have Dawg on your list twice.

I want to change mine to rich311k, sorry noodles, didn't mean you, I was at a dazed and confused mind for some reason, and when i posted it, I was in a rush and just read your post, and didn't recheck my post, sorry for the confusing, I am a newb :)

hmm maybe next time Ill pull your name out of the hat:banher:

TRS, you still have not explained why you are voting for Rich. Do you have a reason, other than the hat trick? Definitely seems fishy.....

Have noods and Lady G ever played at the same time?

I can see why noods is a hot suspect, but I want to chalk it up to noods being noods.

With V2K looking like a UD, my vote will have to change.

I have already decided that I would not be voting for a newb or the alais. I wish the alias would have used their own name, but that is just me.

I am concerned with the players hiding in the shadows and will focus on that.

Well this is interesting...
SInce I have only posted a couple thoughts, and havent had much to say I must be Mafia Scum.. that's great logic. Its early in the game, and I havent seen alot to make me suspect anyone.

But if this is the logic we're going to use:

I vote to lynch kashta
just because she voted to lynch me...and I have nothing else to go on at this point...

I most likely will switch to The Zigman if V2K is a UD. This OMGUS needs to be adressed.

It seems to be too easy to jump on the very vocal kash.

Know what, I will switch now...

I switch my vote from V2K to lynch The Zigman.

Dangerdoll + dirtydawg10 + noodles62 + cjtabares......... All 4 are veteran players who point me out as playing too well, when even I can see that I'm not and I'm obviously grasping at straws. Then cjtabares followed right behind to cast his vote on me. Then explained voting so fast because he had the wrong day in mind. Since Day 1 is mostly random, seeing 4 in a row like that seems more coordinated than coincidental. (Noodles then backs off immediately after cjtabares casts his vote. Odd...)

I am going to take this as a compliment but this is only my 4th game, and i stated that i thought you were grasping at straws, as you put it, this dose not make you a bad player i think you are trying to get the attention on others.

But my vote will stand unless i see something someone else doses that really seems evil, because of my reasons stated before and something just dose not seem right about Kashta to me.

I vote to lynch Blueiz....she has been very busy calling everyone else scummy or good at "playing innocent". Just seems like she is trying to keep the attention off of herself by pointing figers and kicking bushes everywhere; if her accusations were correct than every player except herself would be mafia!
I am at work so not enough time to pull quotes but I can at lunch time if necessary.....

I change my vote

I vote to lynch Blueiz

I have been watching her for awhile. She has tried to play herself up as innocent by calling out a ton of people as being fishy. I think she is def. trying to deflect attention from herself.

I thought this was odd that right after I placed my vote on Blue, Luvbugz followed. Distancing maybe? Makes me uncomfortable........

Makes me think Noodles and Blueiz are in cahoots. Why would Blueiz feel the need to defend Noodles so much?
Noodles goes on to throw Blueiz under the bus and vote to lynch her. Is she trying to distance herself from Blueiz for self preservation? Or is it just their preplanned way of throwing people off their trail?
Maybe it will backfire on them both.....

Neither Blue or I have defended eachother, in fact, quite the opposite. Trying to divert the attention away from the connection of you and Blue?

You would love everyone to vote for TRS, wouldn't yas Blueiz. Keeping you and your buddy Noodles in the game. You were so quick to jump in after me and vote for him. A little tooo quick. Now you are trying to coerce more people to vote for him. I think TRS is just a poor fall boy for your and Noodles plans.

Do you seriously believe that 3 communicating mafia would be so stupid to draw so much attention to eachother and vote on eachother? I could see a single vote for distancing or diversion but this is too much....:headshake2:

Notice how Blueiz responds to Noodles, but not to me..... Interesting....
more distancing?

I havent defended Noodles in the least. You have tied yourself to Noodles (see below) and you and noodles are now trying to divert attention from TRS. Scared one of your scummy teamates is going to be lost? More distancing? Has Luv gotten in over her head?

I would love for everyone to make there on determination on the most likely mafia there is out there and state there reasoning accordingly. Since I do not know who is who, everyone is suspicious in my book. Your logic here is really twisted. You say that I jump in after you to lynch him, then you try to tie me to Noodles, wouldnt that make you tied to us both if that were the case because you voted for TRS too? I voted for TRS because of his response to me, of which my case was made before you voted. in response to the bolded portion - this is what i was trying to say above in my reply to Luv.....no player would be so obvious and stupid.
You are defending TRS after you voted to lynch him, why?

Hmm, three minutes from your last post to this one, sorry luvbugz, but I do read information and process it so as to make the best determination and not post in haste that way i can use my full judgement in rooting out the mafia.

Noodles and Luvbugz have both jumped me for voting to lynch TRS, and for beating bushes to try and root out mafia. Yet, they both are trying to distant themselves from each other using me when Luv has already voted to lynch TRS as well. If in fact they are innocent, why would my asking questions and casting my vote with a sound reason ruffle there feathers so much, and why would they gang up on me to try to get the heat off of TRS, especailly when LUV has alread voted to lynch TRS?

I may change my vote to either noodles or luvbuz before the day is out, but for now it still stands on TRS.

As stated before, I have not questioned your vote on TRS in fact I agree with it, just not enough to vote him out on the first nite; as I said I like to give noobs a chance on the first night. If you are inno Blue and get lynched than I have tied my own noose - if I make it thru the nite.

Yes, LG and I have played several games together. Why?
And yes, I am always a hot suspect. I guess I just have a "hit me" sign on my back!

It does look like V2k will UD. If he does, I hope he is mafia scum!

Kash,

I am wondering why you have Dawg on your list twice.

Hmm.. sorry for making that list confusing. It's not a ranking order or even all the points combined into individual summaries by name. What I did was jot down some notes and general impressions as I reviewed the thread from start to finish. Then updated the list as I got through more posts. In most cases, the person shows up only once or twice and I consolidated those. For people who posted more often or where their posts were far apart.. the name appears again further down. I intended to rank them as well.. but wasn't able to pin people down yet well enough. So I left things as this was and posted what I had.

Going through this now... 4 people are listed more than once: Wing Nut (2 times), Blueiz (4 times), Dangerdoll (2 times), and dirtydawg (2 times).

(Note correction from dirtydog to dirtydawg.)

No order here, just collected bits throughout the thread so far from start to finish. Here's my rundown...

[AC] wing nut - Veteran player using an alias. Means he/she knows enough to handle a highly challenging role. High points for skill level; low points for personality. No bearing on anything. Takes cheap shot at me for being a beginner who's posting/active in the game. Guess that's supposed to rattle me. No matter... his/her random attempt to provoke me are easy to ignore.

Blueiz - Veteran player... speaks up early to generally throw some rocks when there's nothing tangible to work with yet. No big deal there.. it's a painfully slow start.

Odd...)

Luvbugz - Newbie.. Suggested TRS a possible double agent for being a last minute player, right AFTER johnlarson recanted his suspicion of TRS. Luvbugz follows up with a vote against TRS following the whole vote-switching segment that happened later. Seems ok.. but maybe a bit too consistent for someone new. Still, wouldn't expect other newbies to bounce around as much as I've been doing. Luvbugz is being cautious, which is much safer.

johnlarson66 - Veteran player. Points a lot at everyone who posts.. then votes off Rich for not posting much. Then switches vote to Virtuoso2K12. Already switching like that with nothing much to go on and a whole day to go before nightfall? Is that how a veteran plays this, casting a random vote based on post count? Not from what I've gathered reading up how to play this game... seems there'd be more of a reason for this than what he admitted.

rich311k - Veteran player.. makes a joke and says little else. (Need to watch him real close tomorrow.)

Dangerdoll points me out as playing well... then when noodles agrees with that, she "suggests" noodles is up to something protective. That didn't make any sense. DD doesn't strike me as someone who plays "hunches" or has "jitters." Weird.

Blueiz comes along to suggest DD is acting "too" innocent.

The Red Severum - late addition.. claims to be a newbie. Jumps right in and votes to lynch noodles... no reason given even after being questioned by many.

Blueiz.. coming on strong as a general antagonist (again). Stirring the pot it seems, but with nothing that really sticks. Gave me a hard time for offering an explanation why I understand the "role play" aspect of this game, suggesting I'm suspicious (or stupid) for saying so. In reality, I'd just had half a dozen veteran players suggesting I'm suspicious already because they didn't see how a noob could possibly grasp a very basic concept of this game without being coached outside of this thread. Plus, I'd been voted for lynching already (cjtabares) from this exact speculation. Darned if I do and darned if I don't, obviously.... but Blueiz' stance on this is very weak.. totally opportunistic. Any 12 year old knows how to lie effectively and is quite good at convincing someone they're innocent by just pretending they are - ask any parent.

The Zigman - Veteran player. Pointed out how he says absolutely nothing, yet has posted quite a few times. Threw my vote his way so he retaliated for no actual reason. Still, he has nothing to say.... looks like he's playing low-key here. Trying to not attract anyone's attention. That's put him on my list of scum suspects. Will see how this plays out before nightfall.

dirtydog agrees with johnlarson voting to lynch Rich. Agreed previously with DD, noodles, and Blueiz previously who pointed at me for a while. Nice tactic, dirtydog... following whatever the prevailing wind direction is so your motives don't get questioned? Next post... agrees with everyone else challenging TRS for not explaining his vote against noodles. (To which, TRS immediately changes his vote with flimsy reasoning.) Too much of a veteran player in a game like this for dirtydog to be so indecisive and "agreeable" still. Convenient. Claims to be busy (which may be true)..... will watch how he votes very carefully tomorrow.

Blueiz concurs immediately with dirtydog and further jumps all over another newbie (TRS) to the game. Then Blueiz votes to lynch TRS. That surprised me... expected her to hold off since we have all day tomorrow yet before nightfall.

Virtuoso2K12 - No posts at all? No use voting him off if he's going to meet with an (embarrassing) untimely death anyway. Non-existant isn't suspicious when it's someone not even participating.

[AC] wing nut noticeably silent after jumping in so fast. Could be a time zone thing... so we'll see what he or she offers tomorrow. BTW wing nut... mind giving us a gender to make this easier when we refer to you? I don't care if it's your real gender or not, just pick one for us. This "he/she" crap is annoying.

So..... conclusions? Nope, nothing much. But I can tell this is going to be a LOT of fun as the days progress. You guys are really good at this! No wonder you like playing these games so much. :)
