Mafia 50/50 The play..back to Basics..almost

Sorry for not posting much, its been a busy weekend here as well.

Kashta is playing well for a noob. It's hard for me to tell what her style is, if she is being wordy and being so analytical of everyone else to try and take the eyes off of her, or if she is just being herself.

Dangerdoll appears to be skimming, however it could just be an innocent oversight. Are you nervous this game DD? Trying to "play" innocent because you know youre not?

Post number 48, dd making a joke with TRS, and post number 76 with noodles making a joke with JL. I find this show of being chummy with each other odd, is this showing that these guys are getting to know each other a little better in there private scummy chat??

Your post in regards to Kash raises my eyebrow for some reason. I am willing also to hear more from Kash, but for some reason, I am getting a feeling you putting it the way you did is to remind folks and/or to instruct or coerce newbies that the way to play is to watch the insightful seeming newbie and know that it is day one, which is usually a crapshoot.... could it be that you are more protecting of her... I dunno....a hunch or jitters... you tell me.

My feeling was that JL's list was a numbered list "1-10" of top suspects...you being a 10 (most scummy and rich being at the bottom of the list) perhaps I was skimming, :huh: I am tired......I actually had a "Life" last night and stayed up til the wee hours....rare but fun...

I often comment/joke/talk crap with other players. I like to talk crap....sue me! I have played quite a few games w/ JL so being "chummy" does not seem out of place to me...just trying to get through day one and see what everyone is up to.....

Rich, I realize that you're working, but it's interesting that you were able to pop in and post within minutes of JL singling you out. Just happen to be taking a break then?

Looks like I should address all this, so I will.

Am I talking to anyone... getting help from someone... or being coached? No. I'm not in contact with anyone (inside or outside of the game). I've also resisted the temptation to bombard RBishop with a hundred beginner questions...... figured there was no point annoying the crap out of the only person I CAN communicate with if I need to at some point. Since this is my first time, I wish I'd been tagged as a communicating player (either as an innocent or mafia). But I didn't get that lucky so I'm stuck on my own. It's especially unnerving just knowing that 6 of the players here ARE talking to each other as much as they want.

Am I getting hints on how to play? As much as I could on my own... yes. Not knowing what to expect, or even how to play this... I went straight to Google with these searches: mafia game, how to play mafia, and mafia game strategy. Just lovely.. I managed to figure out the "how to" stuff easy enough, but the strategy tips were totally obvious/basic stuff that isn't any help, plus the pointers kept contradicting itself... so I gave up on that to avoid confusing myself. I also tried pulling up an old game thread... (Game #4 if anyone cares). I managed to muddle through 20 pages of that before I couldn't take it anymore.

If anyone still wonders about me, I have a strong background in community theater and in the performing arts -- which gives me considerable experience in performance and stagecraft, acting workshops, character development, role play, and improvisation.

Besides all this, yes... I'm also analytical and long winded. For me to come and just pretend that I'm not would be stupid and only make me look suspicious. It's a lot easier to keep this simple when you've got nothing to hide. So there you have it.
 
is it just me, or are the "multi quotes" not working today? Annoying to say the least!
