Mafia 50/50 The play..back to Basics..almost

Well just finish up reading from almost the beginning I still think my 1st choice is Kashta especially since she has gone so quite, would like to hear what she thinks after last nights mess. I have a few other people I want to look at a little more will gather my thoughts and post what I think when I get out of work before I finish packing. Lol and I am not trying to rub my trip into anyone’s face :evil_lol: and i will not forget to vote dont want to hurt the town

I don't get this at all, cjtabares... First you decided to vote my way because I was too vocal from the beginning and being a noob here that meant (to you) that someone must be coaching me. You also voted for me before because you got the day's mixed up and had to just pick someone in a hurry, when in fact we still had another 24 hours to go before darkfall.

Then first thing this morning, you lodged a second vote for me right off the bat because I hadn't posted during the night... AFTER I'd already been here to explain my inactivity. So first I was too vocal and then I was too quiet?... that doesn't make any sense. What about the others who posted a lot on the first day who have jobs or appointments or families to attend to and haven't been posting away like mad all day today? Why single me out without something specific to back this up?

I got hit because I talk alot then another vote before getting a chance to catch up and start posting again? And you're voting against me (again) because you're going on vacation tomorrow.. which (again) has nothing to do with me at all.

I fail to see how any of this makes me particularly suspicious to you (or anyone else) at this point. Would you please explain your real reasons for both of these votes? And why I'm still at the top of your list?

^^ That is an excellent point, noodles. We do have to think wisely and point out people who seem to be the LEAST trustworthy (for one reason or another). If everyone agrees one person is most innocent... all we'll manage to do is place that person at risk for a nighttime mafia hit.

The whole objective of this game is to accuse and grill the players to root out mafia. They just dont go around leaving signs and hints. I understand that we have a few new players and I think it is great. Now get involved and try to find the scum; defending others is not gonna accomplish that.........I really want to see more from a few players.

What's wrong with early voting? It sure got cj to be a little more forthcoming, didn't it? Early voting can be very useful in applying pressure and seeing what comes out.




Nobody's voted him off yet, but you think he'll be easy prey as he won't be around much to defend himself? What about the fact that he won't be around to hunt for mafia, either? That doesn't bother you? How do you have such a good feeling about cj's innocence based on what he's done this game?




Nobody is trying to lynch cj because he misspells things...IT'S BECAUSE HE LIED. DD questioned his font and he claimed that he cut and pasted into the thread because he wanted to avoid spelling errors, but there were still spelling errors. When questioned, it appears that only certain spelling errors apply. WTH is that about?

Let's look at cj's post, and I'll explain to you what I see.


Firstly, it's been established that the post was cut and pasted. So cj apparently typed the post in Word, then individually spell-checked only his favorite misspelled words. After making corrections, he cut and pasted the text into the thread, but before submitting the post he also then added a smiley. Whew! That's an awful lot of work for a post with no real substance to it.

Based on the content of the post, I doubt that anyone had to feed the post to him, but why is cj being so careful about what he posts? If someone makes a long content-laden post, I could see doing it in another progam, then pasting it in, but there's really nothing to this post. It doesn't make sense to do what he did. It seems quite possible that he's interested in blending in with the crowd (which is what mafia tries to do), trying to be sure that he doesn't make too many waves with anyone. Why else toil over this seemingly ordinary post, as he's done?




Once again, it's not a typo. IMO cj's:

2. Tried to be overly careful in what he posts
3. Been untruthful about his reason for cutting and pasting (as there were still misspellings in his post)

I did not lie no one has caught me in any lie the only word that is still miss-spelled is don't i spelled it dont i skip those words in the post you still knew what dont was. But u do not point this out u just call me a liar and r done with it. This is a scummy move!

Dude, there is something seriously wrong with you.

We're talking 3 days now where I have asked you, point blank, to state your real reasons for voting me out. And every single time you've thrown your so-called suspicions at me you've (consistently) given the people of ACville nothing but crap excuses. How convenient is that for someone to approach this game that way? Just grab someone early off on the 1st day, shrug off any need to actually explain why, and never risk your own neck again by picking another target after that... why, because it's safer for you.

Half the time you're completely dismissive in your phrasing when you do this. Like the votes you place are nothing but an afterthought... "oh btw.. Kashta is still my top mafia pick, but don't bother asking me why because I'm not going to tell you."

WHY you have to vote early was not my question and you know it. You deliberately evaded a whole page of my questioning this to toss out another worthless response.

JL and Kashta actually appear to be trying to root out the scum and save the town. We need to remember that the mafia get a hit tonite. And if you refer back to the rules, this is going to be a really tough game to win!

Kashta posts are wordy, and repeating things that have been said, just in different wording. Im not sure what to think of it at this point, but I do know it could be a strategy to make others think that she is helping when all she is really doing is rewording others thoughts and posting long posts to make it look like shes helping.

Noods, Im really unsettled about you. You obviously have the mosts posts in the game, are you trying to keep everyone on there toes so they dont look at you? You are being arrogant and rather snotty. Like you feel untouchable, is your team giving you courage?

DD, why do you think that i should know better about you slipping up like that? I knwo nothing about you (in this game at least). I think your response was rather vague to my asking for an explanation.

CJ, man, you just look really bad right now. I can understand what you are saying becasue I do the same thing, like if Im doing something and dont want to open the internet browser, Ill type it out in word.. But your explanation of doing it for typos, then your vague responses, well they just dont add up. However, Im not settled on voting you right now because your mind is probably preoccupied with getting ready for Jamaica, or making out with your girlfriend, and I think there may be more solid reasons to lynch someone else as the game goes on.
