Mafia 54:Vampires Return (The Play)

I think the Zaffy issue is just a confusing mess... before today (and witnessing everyone's reactions to Zaffy) I probably would have done the same thing he did if in his shoes to be honest. Whether a vamp or an innocent.

Like noods, I'm not saying he's innocent, he has done nothing to make me suspect he is innocent- but it's not really a strong suggestion of guilt to try and preserve yourself.

I went to bed early because I was worn out.. didn't sleep well... and was up again in the middle of the night reading through this stuff again. Under the circumstances at the time, I think I did well enough expressing my thoughts. I meant to say JL but I typed Zsand instead. It was a typo.. nothing more.

The main reason you guys lynched me in the last game was because I did the same thing referring to Zigman when I obviously meant to say Rocker. Does that make me scum? No... I was an innocent PR in that game. A typo is just that. Any of you could surely come up with a better excuse to vote me if you really want.

Getting players confused is different than a typo.

Typing JM instead of JL would be a typo. I could maybe see a case for typing ZS instead of JL (which is a real reach). You typed Zsand. Mixing me up with ZS is no typo.

Now I understand mixing players up. I used to get Ice and HN mixed up. I am also real bad at skimming.

The issue I have is the context and timing of the mix up. ZS wasn't part of the conversation, nor has he been. You have typed my name plenty, this is nothing like mixing up rocker and the zigman. You were not refering to a player that you didn't have much contact with about some post made hours ago. I was active and I don't recall seeing ZS posting much at all. From the start of the game, you have tried to link ZS and me based on Ice's typo of our names together. Now you have your own typo.

I don't buy it.

I am not suprised you came off of Zaffy. I think you both are vampires - I am just not sure which one is the LV.
 
John's isn't only being nit-picky, this is just silly.

I mixed up two names but it's still clear I meant you. And yes, the two of you do fall into the same loose category in a general sense. You're both top players who've managed to intimidate me in the past. Half the time when I look back at previous games I have to stop to think which of you were modding which game because I've dealt with you both sending/receiving game PMs.. as the contact mafia player with Coler, Maverick, MC, etc... as the Doc in the last game... and so on. You've played while he mods... then he plays while you mod. You're both active and involved players, I've recently communicated with both of you in that dead innocents board, and you've both moved up/down on my suspect list in this game.

I ran into the same correlation thing when referring to Rocker/Zigman last game. In their case, those two are both relative new and inexperienced in these games. I also chat with both of them in the AC chat room quite regularly outside these games. They're also both very quiet and low-keyed when they play mafia games.

Beyond that, feel free to continue blowing this out of proportion however much you wish John. In this game, that's what you do best.

Zsand, my apologies to you for associating you with John.. inadvertent as it was.
 
I wonder now kasha the name thing is interesting, as John said it is a big oops. I can see where having names in mind could happen that way, but you were talking about JL.

I am not sure what to think right now. For the moment I vote to stick a stake in Dawg He worries me right now. Just one of those feeling things. certainly subject to change as this day goes along.

This would be consistent with obviously the Zaffy switch (which really reminds me of a mafia game I played with Kash - the one where she blew it by posting to early on D1 - where we had to dig her out with a late switch and I sat up until the day closed to time the last minute switch by her).

It would also be consistent with Kashta trying to focus on the veterans, when coupled with her repeated disavowal of veteran status.

Those are my thoughts.

Of course I do not trust JohnL.

Coler is right. I do keep doing this and it's still getting in the way. I need to stop.

Compared to some newer players, I am a vet at this.. or close enough anyway. I realize that. Still, when looking at top players it's hard for me to figure out what they're really up to.

So... I'll do what I can to that go and not bring it up again.
 
I vote to stake Zaffy, again

My reasoning is, I know him pretty well and saving his own *** at someone else's expense has never been in his repertoire. I would have expected him to play the odds and just take the coin flip. He had a 2 out of 3 chance of surviving.

Sorry Zaff.
