First vote for pap. I assume that Jpap took as the first day/first vote nonsense that it generally is and ignored it. But it would be weird if a vamp voted for someone to turn. It might not be so weird if someone were later turned (Zaffy).
I don't think there is a single player in the game who I would have second thoughts about turning.
I hate thinking like scum...it just seems to mess things up rather than go after people for what they actually posted. The seer is really the only one who should be trying to think like the LV at this point IMO.
Taken separately, this doesn't really mean anything, but it seems to me there are several posts in this general theme.
Ogre, I'm confused because I don't see any hint of this being a Kash vs. Coler day...most, if not all of the bickering is jsut between the two of them...why are you making this so dramatic?
hmm... OK, I can maybe see my comments as being 'too dramatic', but is it really that big a deal? And is it big enough to think me a vamp? (re: Jpap's current list)
Well I was wrong on DD. I sort of half-expected that because of our history.
On Zaffy, I dunno....
Right now I find it more interesting that Coler voted late on a singleton for no reason other than a hunch rather than seal the deal on someone (notabley Kash) who seemed to be at least a "suspect" on his list.
Rich did the exact same thing last game and I called him out for it...ironically it was also about Kash. No matter how weak a case he saw he did not want to commit. I think Coler was worried about looking bad.

OK, Jpap half expected DD to be innocent, yet she was the choice for the vote. In a couple of place (OK, at least one place), Jpap jumps on people for a random vote.
Yeah the comparison was more along the lines of choosing to vote random rather than for a suspect. 'Tis scummy...

I half think this is a joke but if not why would the vamps try to turn a known innocent when they could get a PR instead? Just sayin...
JL's grilling of Kash is making me nervous but at the same time Kash's reasoning this game has been completely offbase...
It might be worth making it a Kash/Zaffy race to see what comes of it.
Basically do we want to risk losing an innocent to the lynch and then to the turn vs. possibly finding the first two vamps? I'm not sure if its the right move at this point but I am willing to see arguments for either side.

I see one problem with this...was JL around during that 6 minute timeframe? I dunno, because I wasn't so don't know if he was viewing the thread but what I do see is that he posted two hours before nightfall and then an hour after. Seems like an awful large space to be around but not post....:huh:
Not to mention that would have left it as a 4-4 tie after Zaffy went to DD and JL went to Zaffy. A 50/50 between DD and Zaffy so in no way could he have guaranteed lynching Zaffy and saving DD last night...

I find a couple things interesting...1) You did not have enough info (it being day one) to come up with any suspects yet you somehow had enough to pick out 3 possible innocents and 2) Those two people that you originally thought were innocent are on your suspect list...you seem far too reluctant to just go with the flow...what changed between then and now?

You're usually a top poster in the game and are notorious for digging through posts, but right now you're creating more confusion than dirt...at least for me anyways.
The Kash v. Coler mini-showdown has a new twist...JL. I don't see the three being teammates just trying to stir up a bunch of controversy although since Zaffy is on the block and not Kashta I could see that plan working for the time being.
All I know is that the interactions between those three have been quite distracting and I'm pretty much ignoring it for now.

Yeah I know there are only 3 vamps right now but probably only one or two on that list I would actually switch to voting for.
OK, now this is a mini-showdown. But when I called them on it yesterday, Jpapy jumped my butt about it and move me to possible vamp status because of it.
I realize that now.
I voiced my suspicions of both Kashta and Coler (hello, I'm voting for him) earlier so your interactions with them today are not going to automatically drop them off my suspect list.
And I've ignored most of the content of your posts but not the way in which you are posting things, which is why you are suspicious to me.
This is reference to John. So Pap is ignoring John's content, but still thinks him of being a vamp.
I still don't think Zaffy's switch was that of a mafia but voting for the second vote getter just in case it comes down to a tie situation again is very, very anti town IMO. We tend to learn something from votes even if it means losing an innocent. All saving yourself for the second time would do is put more heat on you the next day while the people who might have been looked at for lynching you (possibly a mafia in there) get a free pass to do it again. A very unnecessary cycle if you ask me...

I do see what you are saying Coler, why Zaffy was even up for the lynch in the first place makes no sense.
I'll answer this. At the time, I didn't think Kash was a vamp and wanted to make it a multi-horse race. My choice was DD (I think) or Zaffy... I picked.
I thought I saw another Jpapy post where he basically accepts the random vote thing because he does it, but has accused others of doing the same thing. Maybe I misread.
Conclusion: I think Jpap is all over the place. I think his play style may have changed too. I think that some of his posts are even contradictory. I left out a lot of the posts where him and DD were discussing the rules.
The one thing I have about not voting him is that I agree with him about JMs current play (or lack thereof).
JM has done some switching that seems odd and is very quiet.
So the question is do I go for a good player or a quiet player, both of whom I think may be vamps.
For now
I retract my vote for Zaffy and vote to stake JM.
Although JPap is a strong contender possibly scummy.
I would also like to note that a few people are quietly being ignored and don't seem to be making much todo about it. Noods is super quiet (must be on medication or something)...
