Mafia 54:Vampires Return (The Play)

I'll admit that I really didn't like that the seer came out today, without having at least two vamps on the list, it makes it really hard on the rest of us. If you had waited until we had two, then the hunter could have jumped on the other one and they would be down to one vamp left.

On the other hand, I can't remember ever playing in a game where the first person to come out as seer (or detective) wasn't who they said. I think in one came, the bad guys successfully confused the issue for one night, but that was all.

So, until I get some really strong evidence, I think I'm gonna stick with Wycco.

That being said. He has made a couple of slips that make me question him. I think I had enough stuff on John anyway to convince me to move my vote to him. Wycco's statements pushed it to the front.

Other note, the hunter is his/her own self and should make their own decisions. But I've heard some suggestions that the hunter hit Rich tonight. I don't think I agree with that. On the other hand, there are what 12 innocents left? And we think that Wycco and cash are two of them. That gives the vamps a 20% chance of hitting a power role tonight. (10 players unknown, 2 power roles). And the odds increase each night. If the vamps turn the priest or the hunter, we are in serious trouble. Hunter, think long and hard about anything you may do.

game off - Kash, part of the rules of this style of game is that if you are turned, that you play for the bad guys. If you don't want to play like that, then please don't sign up for this style of game. I was turned in one of the team build games and it really was quite fun. So don't knock until you try it... game on

... unless you've already been turned and that's a pretty interesting play...

Gee JohnL. You were my hunchy vote and now an uncontested seer has said you are a vampire.

Gimme a reason not to vote for you.

That is my biggest problem with it as well.

Wycco self destructed in the last game. I think that was his first game, I'm not sure wince I've only been playing here since 53 as well.

I don't really know what to make of it, but it shows that he has a history (albeit short) of making rash decisions. I don't know how much that helps in this case, I'm I'm leaning towards him telling the truth.

I agree I think he is being truthful just want to be sure. I never remember one of these confessions being wrong. Though it sure is possible.

Okey dokey I am open and ready to listen to reasons not to lynch JL. I note he wants Kashta as a running mate in the vote. Lets hear it people - I have an open mind and a beer in front of me.

And both JohnL and Kashta are on thread so this should be fun !

You're right.. I can't do that. That's not cool and it wouldn't be fair to anyone.

I wish Wycco had waited too. But I understand why he jumped like that now. He couldn't figure out anything else to do. John is too good at covering his bases. Even as a group, we're not going to figure out who the other 2 vamps are just from re-reading John's posts.

btw this would actually be a great time for the seer to come out bearing in mind how crap we have been doing generally in formulating coherent suspects.

My problem with Wycco's claim is that if he investigated John day 1 why didn't he vote him? I think Wycco is the seer. However he didn't vote JL because he was also the turn and I am leaning toward JL being the one telling the truth. If Wycco's story was true he would have voted JL before now.
