Mafia 58-

I was working on the possibility that he may have been a communicating mafia. However unlikely that was, I felt since it's a long 48 hour day, that there was plenty of time to explore that option.

At this point, we certainly won't learn anything. The conversation has been killed. Ogre will come in and vote Rich, because that is the only vote to make. I guess he could vote me since I'm so scummy too apparently. I don't think devils advocate is scummy though. So, we'll have a landslide whatever to 1 vote to lynch Rich, and we'll see what he is.

At least we can talk about who else is connected, or not connected to the know scum, maybe that way we can help the innocent team make a better decision on who to hit tonight.
I think we learn quite a lot actually.

1) We learn which Journalist is trustworthy.
2) We lynch a Mafia (hopefully)
3) We clear (almost) another player.
4) We see who fought to not run Rich solely. (Zaffy, Annie, Ogre?)

I'm interested why the conversation has been killed in your opinion, there seems to be quite a bit of discussion.

And yes Devil's Advocate is scummy when you are suggesting voting a suspected INNOCENT just to try and flush out Mafia. They aren't dumb and I'm sure they can see through your masterful trap.

I'm almost positive that Rich is non communicating...he put Dawg in the three way tie after all.

Because of that, there's no way the mafia would even be aware that they needed to save him...sort of like with what I was telling Kash, what is the point in trying to save only a suspected teammate? Rich is less obvious than Wood was too IMO so it would be even more of a risk.

If we put someone else up for the vote, other than Kash, would we learn something? I don't know the answer but maybe it is something to discuss...I don't see any benefits myself so I think the run off on Rich is as good as it gets right now.

You could certainly speculate that, so no, not unreasonable especially considering that Zs was Dawg's fall back vote and Z wasn't around to garner any more attention...

I completely agree with this post.

I also agree with your post that he can't be communicating innocent, or there's no way the votes would have landed on him the way they did. No team would have abandoned a player like that. Rich almost has to be non-communicating mafium, or we must all rethink the ACUNiverse, nevermind the town.

Hi guys sorry. I've been gone. I just am not having time to play right now.

I've seen two questions:

1) The thing for MC. Annie quoted a post in which MC said that he followed Dawg's logic or words to that effect. That's it, that was the whole thing.

2) The thing against Kash. I'm basing my plan only on the liklihood of one or the other being mafia. I still haven't caught up in the thread (yes, it's worse than skimming). So, I only had the two headlines to go with. Everyone has voted rich and who am I to argue?

3) Annie asked a question way back when and I think it was about us not getting any information about the lynching. If everyone votes one way (like now), we don't get any information. If there is a split vote, then people must vote one or the other and we get a lot more useful information to apply later. For example.

I retract my vote to lynch MC and vote to lynch Rich.

Now, has everyone but rich voted for him? Great. If he is mafia (and I'm guessing he is at this point), then we got rid of a mafia. Have we learned anything else? No.

Look back at the vampire game. The one night we ended up with a split vote on two players broke the game wide open and the vamps lost. I'm trying to recreate that so we get the info we need on voting patterns.

OK, I'm done.

If I may butt in here...what is so hard about considering Rich non-communicating?

I for the record agree he is non communicative, I was just answering in terms of how Zaffy phrased the accusation.

So you can hide in broad daylight and point the finger at someone else while doing it.

I believe there is a link, and since we have time why don't you go ahead and pull some quotes to clear your good name. What have you done for the town.

On Day 1? Everyone hides in broad daylight on Day 1...

Ummm no, you want to accuse me of being scum, you pull the posts. I'm not going to make your job of coasting any easier for you than it already is. Oh and do you have an answer to my shocking melon query?

And to be honest, you're posts as of late have me in agreement. I would rather the town run me against Rich, as I know I'm innocent. We could learn something from that. Any player with any brains would want to run anyone but Kash against him. But here is Ogre and Zaffy, two excellent and intuative players suggesting we run Kash against him??? That's tremendously odd IMO.

1,2,3 we don't learn till night fall, so we sit on our hands and stop thinking for 24 more hours. You didn't vote Rich until he was a dead man, so don't wash your hand so quickly. Your vote made it 5-1, at 4-1 it looks like a sure thing, there are only 2 of you left. Why not cut your losses and distance yourself.

Why do you think you killed the conversation? You took credit for it. I'm trying to keep it alive.

You're hiding today. I've pulled a post that shows your link to scum, however superficial it may be. What have you done to help the town?

Wait...I thought your vote was on Annie? Either I am confused or you are not following your own posts.

The whole point Ogre is that who is going to come to either's rescue? We can all but guarantee that Rich and Kash are not on the communicating mafia team since one voted Dawg and the other implicated Dawg pretty heavily.

So then, what's the point of putting an innocent up against a mafia? All people have to do is hide on either train and say that they were just following orders and trying to keep it even. I believe Kash said it best, there's no accountability.

Don't the mafia teams try an distance themselves by votes, or sly comments about the others?

Where is the accountability now?
