I'm pretty sure that if mafia, Ogre would love nothing better than to skunk the town, all the while directing traffic in an Italian suit at the corner of State & Madison Streets in ACville. Would be quite the feather in his cap.
The way he's been acting yesterday and today, I'm beginning to think that he KNOWS that Swayde is mafia and has been working really hard to distance himself. Yesterday he blew up at her for something that seemed pretty benign to me (a staged arguement?). Today he's pointing out that he's voted for her every day (but none of his votes have ever ended up on her). Just a theory.
my point is if the detective has 2 hits, that they should consider coming forward...not taking credit for anything, I'll acknowledge that during our discussion you've made me re-think some things (ie, believability of the detective). hadn't considered that one. Also never jumped all over you, just disagreed when the detective should consider revealing themself.
And simmer down 'ol boy...you might consider taking a break between mafia waves every so often just to clear your head. You're acting a little touchy this wave. Half the town has been jumping all over me for the past 3 days and I'm not freaking out about it.

Look at this steamroller guys... it's pretty impressive.
If this isn't the most obvious mafia play to off a player yet, I don't know what it would be.

I agree, the detective should only come out if they have Mafia names. Innocent names will only cause doubt and confusion.
But then again, I've still got this niggling about RB's clues. And on night 3, there were only 3 ppl named by the snitch so I'm guessing the Mafia didn't have their game together for some reason. I'm thinking the 4th name was either Ice or CL1, prolly CL1. But the hit was put out on CL1 because perhaps the Mafia had to individually send in their votes on who to lynch and the snitch didn't know it would be CL1. It's crazy, but I think that HN was the DON and put the hit on himself because his first two Mafia picks are Ice and Mad. They wanted those two gone that bad. And it appears Ogre wants you gone bad, Mad. Here's the RB quote about HN:

It's farfetched, I know but just keep and open mind. What do you all think?

To clarify, I mean I think HN was fullfilling his role as DON who would show up innocent upon death, making pple go look at his Mafia list. Ice and Mad were at the top of that list.
I can see your thoughts, also said something like the 'Don is smug and reposed but not outwardly'....maybe because they're dead? The only thing that bothers me, is that this morning rb said 17 townies - 10 innocent, 7 mafia. If we got the Don, that would say to me that the vig is mafia (as rb says in the rules that the vig can be an innocent OR mafia this round)
I saw your post where you saw HN viewing and called him on it. I suspect that he probably is still interested in the thread. Also, rb mentioned that at some time that a couple of dead players would vote, maybe HN wanted to keep up to date in case allowed to vote....don't know.
But I strongly agree that rb's clues are definitely meant to help the town...that part about the mafia running just under the surface is why I'm having such a problem with pulling the trigger on Ogre, even though his game makes absolutely no sense to me. Nothing about Ogre has been 'just under the surface.'
Oh, I didn't catch that about the 7 Mafia players left this morning.

This is a bit confusing, he does have the list from day 3 but with sway and nick? and charlie? and then king...
and then he lets go of sway and nick and charlie...but leaves us up there...only 1 can be mafia....but why stick with the list of the snitch's list..
and there is another thing I am trying to rack my brain on...in the statement of the Bala shark with it facing the sunrise,,,but it usually faces the west, is its back on the west coast and saying pay no mind to that person who lives on the west coast which would be Jensons and looking to the east to where the person on the list lives on the east coast and that would be Sploke...

or are we supposed to look at both of them, and skip BKW...or look at BKW for the Bala could have easily been facing the Gulf or the south...I don't know, Plantling maybe you can make something of that....this is all I am getting from it...are we supposed to turn our backs on west and pay attention to the east...and the location of where the players live...I don't really know...
