OK folks this is one of Coler's last posts. I fear the Mafia is quite good this time around and haven't been able to get a strong read on anyone. Unless someone has bigger and brighter ideas, I'd say we start taking Coler's list very seriously.

*Swayde awakens to a new day with a bright sun shining in her bedroom window. She stretches and yawns before getting out of bed. She is relieved to see the light of day after the terrible sounds she heard throughout the night.*

Okay, it seems as if Coler was the last person to post before Nightfall and the only person who is no longer with us. In his final post he is worried about Madcrawdad, Ogre and ZS. 2 of which are also on my radar. I notice that Plantling posted a list of Coler's picks that was posted earlier, neglecting to mention his last post. This seems a bit odd to me and questionable. The only person on the list that Plantling posted that I agree with is Mad, none of the others come across as Mafia to me.

It is very possible that Coler was the Don and was sacrificed to throw us all off, but I don't think there is anyway that we can know that for sure. I am not going to throw my vote out yet, however, I have very strong leanings towards Madcrawdad, Zsandmann, Ice and Ogre as Mafia. I will most likely be voting on Madcrawdad today because he was Coler's top pick for quite awhile, as well as at the top of my radar yesterday.

So here are my top 5, in order of suspicion:

1. Madcrawdad
2. Zsandman
3. IceH20
4. Ogre
5. Plantling

Still worried that Judgemax hasn't said a word. Is she lurking in the shadows, controlling her mafia as their very silent Don? or is she just been too busy IRL and not even aware the game is going on?

Wow.. We have lost a great townie.. strange events this evening.. Doc I hope you know what your doing. And in part I am going to use this information.. Like I said earlier I did think that MIken was an Innocent but he had made his bed yesterday and ended up the sacrifical lamb. Now we have to look at how the voting went.

So then this makes me look at my list all that much more and make some changes based on the way the voting happened last night. I believe even more now that the Mafia had their sacrifical innocent for the day and they moved their votes to "less innoquous" people or even one of their own.

Take a look at the late night changes is going to be a start, then go back and read their posts, I personally don't have time to do that much reading this morning as I am headed off to work here shortly.

So my list is as follows and in no particular order..

Swyade


Plantling, I believe your seeing that line correctly as that is what I am seeing. If anyone is the Don and they are killed or investigated within the first 6 nights they are going to show up as an innocent.

Coler has proven himself to be fairly intuitive in the past, so its hard to completely discredit his list. He listed me as a suspect for the majority of last game though, and I was innocent then too so I wasn't too surprised that he picked me out again. However, I dunno how much I'm getting from that list. Mad, I have my suspicions of. Clown hasn't gievn me much either way. Swayde has suspicious moments, but I can't tell if she's new and just getting into things, or trying really hard to look like an innocent mafia. charlie stubbs, not too sure about right now, I'll have to go back and go through his posts again to see if I pick up on anything.

Mad not going with the vote for JM at the time was strange to me. IF jm were to be eliminated, then the vote did make sense to me. Regardless of whether she's innocent or not, the understanding at the time (which has since been corrected) was that she was to be eliminated at the fall of night. So the options were a) vote for judge and lynch her, and lose a townie to the mafia hit or b) lose judge to an untimely death, lose a townie to a mafia hit, and lose potentially another townie to the lynching. Since the odds are that we will lynch a townie on the first day, the choice is lose 1 vs lose 2. I don't see how that doesn't make sense to people. By going against that, you're basically saying you're willing to take a 70% chance of lynching a townie just to try and get another mafia. I don't like those odds. Now, after it was clarified, the voting moving away from her I think is a moot point, since she will stay in the game unless she doesn't get involved in this cycle. At that point, unless we have some VERY strong mafia candidates, it will make sense to vote for her rather than take a 30% gamble again.

As far as Coler's last post, Ogre and ZS are on my list, but not too strongly just yet. Like Ice and Coler, they have proven themselves as strong players and it is good advice to be wary of them. If any or all of them are mafia, I think it wouldn't be difficult for them to sway the town one way or another with some deep analysis of postings. So, I think at this point everyone should still be really thinking for themselves. I know last game I kind of allied myself with HN and ZS after the second day's lynching because at that point I was pretty sure they were both innocent and we were all thinking along the same lines. Like I said, there may be a time for that but right now its way too early so anyone who has thoughts, please bring them out into the open to discuss and evoke responses.

hmmm.... Coler took the hit and Mike was saved by the doc. Interesting. I am still sold on Mike though however, Mad has now made it to my suspicions as well. I am going to sit out and see how this unfolds, read up on some posts. I do however like Colers list and think that it needs to be looked at more closely give or take a person. BUT sploke raises a good issue of if this is exactly what the mafia want us to do. If the Mafia took coler out simply becuase they know he is good and know folks know he is good and are going to follow him and look at his lists and such, it would be ingenious.... gah! I'm going to reread a few pages....
