Mafia #6.....The Play

Actually Ice I think the votes for Mike were probably started by Mafia and they have since faded to others.. But only tomorrow morning will be the litmus test as to what theory might be right. I have my list and depending on how the events of this evening unfold will be where my list gets updated tomorrow morning. Personally I think the Don is very vocal this game and pulling the strings where he wants them to go.. But like I said, only in the morning will we truly know.

Ok, this is where it gets tricky.

The last game I did two vote switches, one was good (JM) and one was bad (sorry jpappy). So, this is where I think to myself "Maybe I'm wrong". The reason for me thinking that is there doesn't seem to be that much protest to get rid of Mike (if he was Mafia I would think there would be more), but people do seem to be jumping on Mad, maybe Mafia trying to save Mike? I don't know. All I know is 51% of me is saying to stick with who I voted for first, and I am.

I don't think that the votes were started by mafia. Most of us just despise it when people come into the game claiming innocence. Look at cl in 4 and jo in 5. It doesn't matter if there are mafia or not, they are an easy target right away...now that I think about it maybe the mafia thought of that...

Ice, I don't have any information for you. I don't know who's mafia.

Personally, I find it disturbing that you want to lynch someone for merely not posting. It's not a question of not posting. Listen carefully, a mafia will not get kicked off because of non-posting (unless the are completely unable to be in the game)... I see no evidence of that from JMax. However, if she is playing a very unusual role (the silent mafia) then I will happily help yo ulynch her, but only if you have something better than not posting.

I think you said it previously, (maybe it was Coler or Mad), Why vote for someone that you don't believe is mafia. It has nothing to do with math or numbers or posting... it has to do with finding mafia.

JMax, would be an easy kill for mafia. Comon, Ice, you led her as mafia... we both tried to keep her quiet. Do you think she would be quiet if she didn't have to?

Anyway, I think there are much better choices for lynching for now... like ZSandmann said, we will revisit this tomorrow... keep harping on it. You're disturbing me.

I can't decide yet if you really think that this is the best course of action for the town, or if you're mafia again and playing skillfully.

You continued insistence on being investigated is disturbing as well. Maybe Mike isn't the best choice.

This will be my final post until tomorrow evening. I may be able to view the thread during a break tomorrow.

If you are innocent, there probably will be a ground swell after this as the mafia follow suit. Keep in mind that I believe I have given some good reasons for this vote... mafia won't.

If you are mafia, then I suspect there will be some players suddenly switching away from you.

I believe that many of the mafia are actively voting for other mafia. This does several things...
A) it seperates indivduals in our minds
B) it keeps the mafia in control of the voting
C) Any sudden shifts in votes can be made by one innocent and one mafia.

With 30% of the votes, the mafia can control the towns voting patterns. It generally only takes 2 votes to completely change our lynch target. With 7 memebers, the swing votes can come from three different groups of mafia without being repeated. Guys, we are in serious trouble.

Ice remains my top pick... Note his reaction once I post a list. I'm nothing... all of a sudden, Ice is attacking me. I did what he wanted... post a list.

Hopefully because Ice is mafia and my list is accurate.

No.. I think we are pretty much puppets right now.. I truly due believe that Mike is an innocent. Have all along but I am waiting to see where the puppeteer is taking us.. I personally am feeling that the mafia is out in the open but experienced. I think they have learned from lessons past and are leading us by our noses. That is why the first days worth of voting is so important, it gets our compasses going in a firmer direction. I am just feeling that the Don is being a little more psychological in his play..

If not started by, then at least significantly influenced by and using to their advantage.. Thats why I am sticking with my vote because out of all of the games this is one of the most critical voting nights. Without the first set of votes we have nothing to base future decisions.

But like I said tomorrow we will see the results, and then be able to re-read and go from there. I am completely concerned on how this vote is going to turn out as last game I didn't make it past day one. If JoAnder had been lynched day one, I would have been on the chopping block day two hands down no questions asked.

Post 433 I retracted my statement as it was pointed out there is no mayor this round.

I never said anything about your list. Please show me where I did? I said you had no reaction to Colers list.

Also I didn't attack you. I merely pointed out something I noticed for discussion tomorrow.

I never thought I'd see a revenge vote from Ogre. Guess theres a 1st time for everything.

I think they are upset that a few votes have gone Mads way. I've stirred up enough that I look mafia and so they want to pile on me and get some votes going that way. If people are going to fall off Mike they want them to fall on to me and not Mad.

I have to go to bed so thats my last post for the night. We'll see in the morning what unfolds.

What I'm noticing is that there are votes slowly trickling out of Miken and spreading out across all the other candidates and that bothers me. There are as always several possibilities. 1) Miken is a Mafia and they are trying to get us to switch to another person. B) Miken is Innocent and now that there is a significant lead in votes they can distance themselves from the fallout by jumping before Night. I'm not real comfortable with either scenario. It's bedtime for me, I am keeping my vote in place. I was the first one to vote for Mike today so I will follow this train to the station. Mike if you are Innocent sorry bud that's just the way it is on Day 1. If you are Mafia I read you right and we have six more to go. Good Night all, let's try and break the Day 1 curse!

I retract my Mike vote and vote to lynch Mad

To many people piled onto Mike, obvious mafia votes. Ogre made me a bit uneasy claiming he'd rather take a chance on voting out a mafia player and losing JM to untimely death. Why chance losing 3 innocents in one night?

I think Ogre might be Mafia but don't take this as fact.

Why do i think he might be? Ogre continually preaches against trains.Yet he jumped on one. Why not put a vote on another suspect and see if it garnishes any attention? He doesn't care if JM gets an untimely death, could know she is innocent and wants 3 innocents gone.

Didn't even touch the list Coler posted, no words of wisdom for us about Mad? What are your thoughts Ogre about Mads posts of mafia guilt to Mike but vote on Sway?

This sounds much like an attack to me.

I have no thoughts on Mad and Sway or Coler right now.
