Mafia #64 ? Cabin Fever - The Play

So who would ask to be evil?

I am sure atleast one player did, if not three. While I like being evil, I am not sure if I would volunteer. There are a few players who I think would ask.

Maybe this is the easy way out, but I could see FF asking (if not begging) to be evil.

I vote to lynch Fishfriend1.

Explain to us FF, why you did not ask to be evil?

I can see your point, however, part of your post makes me wonder about your alliance as well. I will need to give some thought over who I desire to banish.

just catching what i've missed and it seems like you're going with the evil strategy of best defense is better offense. why throw blame on others when you haven't even given an answer for the question you pose?

Because I'm sure there are some who would assume I'd want to be evil given a choice such as this. Others may argue I could have pm'ed from my phone, but New Orleans has horrible service for AT&T it was not really feasible, not to mention I was too busy with more important things like catching beads. I just wanted to head off both those arguments from the start.

This sounds an awful lot like an excuse, instead of reason. I am sure that ATT has a lot of customers in New Orleans, and you mentioned in the last game that you often post from your phone during the day.

Things that make you go hmmmmm.

here Zaffy, Bourbon Street Saturday night:

Was like a crazy mosh pit, at one point we had near death experiences, a la crushing...

It was the one Annie modded, I wasn't sure if I could bold from my phone so we established before the game that if I couldn't figure it out my vote would still count.

Hmmm, maybe I was unclear... I meant pictures of what it takes to get the beads :naughty:

I was honestly very appalled at their service. Some of my friends with the exact same phone would have bars and 3G and I wouldn't. It made communication ridiculously hard. In fact, I'm still getting delayed text messages from some of them.

Sorry Zaff, those are not to ever see the intarwebz...and really it doesn't take much to get beads from a float.

I vote to banish Lab Rat.

Here's why...

I also think FF would eagerly volunteer to be evil, especially after reading the sign-up thread and how eager he was for his pm. I bet he couldn't wait to pm jpap to be evil.

I'd throw Razz in there as well. I remember him saying how he really liked being evil in the game prior to the last.

I'd normally put myself in there simply because I love being evil; I decided to retain my innocent status for several reasons: 1.) it would be quite predictable since I love being evil and love communicating roles. 2.) I do not want to be predictable in this game 3.) I've been at Mardi Gras all weekend (think I saw Zs in the gutter) so I was not here to pm jpap to be evil.

So overall, I'd be pretty comfortable voting for FF or Razz as the first vote until more information surfaces.

I believe the part about how you love being evil. The rest that follows, though? Not a chance.

:bs:

Its all fine and dandy to give reasons why you wouldn't/couldn't be evil but no one in their right mind is going to believe you.

Exactly.

woohoo!! Game has started.

I guess I missed the part where Paps was asking for volunteers... I am assuming that was in the sign-up thread obviously... it's made day one pretty interesting to say the least.

Skimming already, DD?

Lab, if you weren't around to send in the PM then what would it matter if it would have been to predictable?

Ice makes a good point here.

Yes. And yes.

You've made the best case against yourself, Lab. I don't normally place early Day 1 votes in these games but, in your case, I feel pretty confident about this one.

for someone who was in New Orleans, you sure are sticking your neck out to defend yourself..... who mentioned a phone?

Hehe.. DD skims again. :silly:

No one yet, but I played a good part of a previous game from my phone when I was out of town before. Am I not supposed to defend myself? Ice asked why I'd give both those explanations, I simply answered.

I see no reason why anyone would DEFEND themselves, unless they've got something to hide. Seems there's more to this than a little Day 1 chit chat.

Gee, friends with the same phone had service and you didn't? Something is sounding scummy in ACville here. Besides the fact that with 3G coverage on your friends phone it isn't like the opportunity to pm wasn't available to you. Does it? :bs:

I vote to banish lab rat

unless something scummier surfaces before nightfall

You're banishing an innocent, plain and simple. I brought up those points against myself because I'm being honest. See, this is why I'm not very good at being innocent. But what I've said is the truth. I know you think I'm mentally impaired, but do you really think I'm that impaired that I'd volunteer to be evil when I've made it clear I love to be evil? That would put my IQ below 70.
