Mafia 66: Farmers versus the Railroad - the play

Great game JL thanks for modding!!

I was going to run the St. Patty's Day game next but since it's passed let me know if you still want me to run that one...or I can always run a different setup which has been previously played. I don't have the time to come up with a new one right now.

If you want to run a game different then St Pattys try this one. I'd love to play a game I once ran

Its 50/50 half communicating on each team. But I had each team get to hit one night and try to recruit the opposite night. You could keep it the same or tweek it by letting there be no hits only recruits and if they choose from the wrong team they lose a player. Team with controlling communicating numbers wins.

PS...... That was an awesome game, JL. Thanks for modding this one and thinking up such a wild format!

I enjoyed modding and not messing it up. Thanks everyone for playing.

Knowing Noods was a RRO from the start and THEN seeing her screw up that first post, I decided to go after her hard from my first post just to put her under some pressure before she expected any. I knew there'd be backlash against me for that, but didn't care. I intended then to drop her right away and vote someone else soon after because having done that already it would have been easy to circle back onto her again later in the game. But no one would let it go and that's all anyone talked about practically for the next two days.

I also knew I'd not be able to keep up with the game... knew Wizard and I would be gone all weekend.... etc. I knew I'd get killed early and that was fine. I didn't mind because I knew my death would take Noodles with me. Also didn't want to get hit (and Noods die with me) without having had a chance to try flushing out another RRO in addition to Noods before leaving the game. Unfortunately, it was Coler who jumped hardest against me for voting Noods so soon.

Once Lab Rat posted her dang theory #5, that blew any chance that the scum team would erroneously mistake me for an overly anxious farmer who just got carried away too soon. That was the feel of play I was going for... just being eager and premature, which isn't out of character for me anyway on Day 1.

But Lab's theory was right and the reasoning was good. The scum already knew I was innocent, so Lab defending me by speculating I was an IW prevented them from hitting me instead.... if they were so inclined to beforehand. That meant I'd end up dying after all without getting Noods at the same time.

So, Labby.. to answer that question for you. I knew my game was done as soon as you posted those theories in the game thread. Then when you agreed with me about Coler, I wondered if you were also an IW. That I had Noods' name and you must have had Coler's name. Found out otherwise about Coler after I was dead and it was too late. I know now your intentions were pro-town, but THAT's still the reason not to post about townie PRs like that... if you're not scum.

I vote to lynch John for giving Labby and me the same dang RRO name.

:banhim:

:iagree:

I was voting for FF but the SC tore me apart for doing so.

if you remember I got my teeth kicked in just for d1 nonsense wondering where he was

JL, you shoulod be shot.

My whole game play was based on you NOT giving 1 RRO to 2 IWs

A bit drastic. I was innocent on D1 and the only reason I moved to Kash's side was because LR backed her up. I figured there had to be 2 IW's based on the number of people playing and the rules did say they would know the identity of ONE of the railroad Owner's. If JL had give 2 out of the 3 scums names that would have been way more unfair.

I think it's great that both comm. teams didn't want to start a train on Dag...

True, Dawg. I was just expecting there were 4 RROs.
