Mafia 66: Farmers versus the Railroad - the play

I agree that Noods tends to show her evil side more often than not and can be overly defensive and OMGUSy...we've caught her more than a couple times on that. But seriously Kash, your vote was rather early and not based off some joke when that's what D1 usually is...I would see myself in the same position after being called scum for a trivial matter. This just doesn't seem to be the same defensive Noods as when she is evil. There's a lot more drama than there is now...lol

I wondered where you were, Pappy. You're usually a late-night poster in these games.

I mainly voted Noods to gauge the reactions I'd get. In your case, I could get all twisty about this and wonder if you're trying to defend her. But I believe you'd question whatever went on today the same way regardless of your role this game.

Coler, on the other hand, seems to have given credence to the vote I placed on Noods. So that's why I went through those posts again tonight, since I had some free time right now. I don't expect I'll be a heavy poster this game because I still have a lot going on.

As for you not "remembering" this happening that previous game... yes, you were in it. So was DD, JB, Coler, and Dawg. I am interested in Noods' reaction here and I'm particularly interested in who decides to step up on her behalf. Aside from this, I don't see anything else today worth really talking about.... unless we knew that FF knew the game had started and he's not posting at all for some reason. But I think it's equally plausible that he's not posting because he doesn't know this thread exists yet.

With that... I retract my vote on Noodles.

I believe my early vote has served it's purpose and it isn't necessary to keep it there. I also agree with Pappy that Nood's early vote isn't enough all by itself to vote her out of the game. But if she continues to act like scum... in my opinion... I'll be quite happy to vote her again at that time.

Wow, some opening to day one.

After reading the thread before my post and reading what was posted afterwords, I have a couple of questions to ask.

Noods, why do you keep visiting the subject? This is only my fourth game but have learned from observing that defensiveness is a scum tell.

However, I have been wrong twice using defensiveness as a reason for voting to lynch so I will just watch and see what develops while I am at work.

Odin, would you care to give us a reason for your vote? When voting to lynch someone it is customary to give your reason for reaching this decision as this then gives the rest of us something to consider.

Maybe you have seen something we have missed.

FF WHERE ARE YOU?????

Glad the game has finally started.

I dont know what to think of the Kash/Noods thing.

I would also like to hear Odins reason for voting Kash.

Pretty quiet thread so far.

Glad we have today and tomorrow to decide who to vote for.

It will be interesting to see if FF posts today.

Not like him at all to be lurking. :shakehead:

woot game on ( . )( . )!! the whole early post / vote thing is almost semi interesting but I'm not sure if there is anything to really gain from it. The only post that semi interested me was
How to you know Noodles got an evil role ?

I vote to Lynch Kashta

Obviously if Kashta knew that noods was evil would be for the reason that they are both evil. However if they were both evil would it stand to reason that kashta wouldn't have brought up the whole matter and just let it pass unless someone else took notice of it? However if noods really did slip in my mind it seems to reason that Coler's horrible defense was a slip up also. It really is early in the game to have solid reasoning to vote for someone but there is always solid reasoning for defending another person and that is you are on the same team as that person.

The Lack of FF posts is quite amazing. Usually he has 17 posts at this point in the game and another 3 saying how great he is for posting so much. After last game perhaps he is going for a new strategy of actually shutting his mouth till he has some input that doesn't scream scum (funny thing is even when he's innocent or a good guy the posts scream scum :P )?

Side note the orlando international airport while it's nice they have free internet they might have the most uncomfortable chairs known to man. On a good day the padding for the chairs might be 1/8 inch thick.

It's nice to see the game off to a quick start.

As far as the Noods/Kash thing goes I can understand Kash pointing it out. I remember the game when Kash did it. However I think Noods was excited because she hasn't played the last few games so I could also see her pulling the trigger too soon. I will keep an eye on her though.

The strangest thing about all of this is that after Kash calling out Noods and beating on her for it now she just drops the vote. Not because she has a better candidate but just because. To me that seems like more of a scum tell.

I wouldn't say I'm normally a late night poster during the week at least...but yesterday was a holiday after all...

Anyways, I'm not sure I can really say much about Coler since he apparently remembers the game better than I do...happen to know which # or at least what setup it was? I just remember that I didn't play in your first game or two so I figured it was one of those.

Going back to Coler, I think his questioning was fine since you were quick to assume that Noods got an evil role no matter when exactly she received her PM but at the same time he was quick to vote for you without getting an answer even.

On the topic of Noods reaction...I think it was justified, but I'm not going to write anything off of course. It's definitely something to keep in mind.

I agree with the last paragraph...that strategy always bugs me when it's explained that it was a pressure vote and then it's retracted. Whether or not the vote served any purpose at all is debatable, outside of creating some sort of discussion.

I'm going to have to agree with the last paragraph as well.... while I am not used to the thick and fluffy posts from Kash over the past couple games, they are not anything to be forgotten (if anyone's played many games with her).... and for her to carefully explain and justify just why noods is evil and why she has voted..... only to unvote her and say she was doing it to get a reaction.... sorry, kinda threw me for a rolling thunder loop...... yeah, while Noods might be someone of interest to watch, I think it's also important to keep Kash under the Radar just as high as Noods.
