Mafia #7 -- The Play

well luckily stayed on the comp. in time to see this...
This is coming from the same person who wanted to know if it was ok to lynch dd or swayde because the weren't any help to the town and to see if your "new vs. old" mafia theory was correct. I have no doubt that you would have pursued this had people not come out and say that it was not a good idea...
There's only 1 person who can be 100% sure unless they're on a team together....correct?
Here's my current list of suspects:
KOTD - obvious. 2 games back he frequently missed votes and got away with it. Ended up being mafia.
Ice - not just for the back-pedal on the Swayde thing, but also his interest in lynching DD on Day 1 for no real reason. Yeah, DD might be mafia, but she might be a townie, too. Let's let her actions guide us, not just toss her under the bus randomly. The thing that bothers me, though, is that these things are pretty blatant. Not a good things to say or do if your simply trying to blend in with the town....and Ice is smarter than that.
JL66 - as WChix points out, a lot of regurgitation of others' posts. Also, the fact that his roleplay vote stuck. Yeah, he claims he always does it, but it's anti-town. In effect, he's not only not helping the town, but he's also not responsible when things go bad with the lynch on Day 1 (which they frequently do).
DeputyChief - Sometime last night credits Ice for pointing out the whole 'Swayde is mafia' thing. I think that this is where Ice got nervous and then handed the engineer's hat to Chas and myself. Says to me that DC may not be reading closely, as it unfortunately was Chas and I who first discussed the main reason that Swayde ended up getting lynched for.

Pretty early to make a statement like that, 100% sure? Claiming you're the Detective after the very 1st night? You just jumped big time to the top of the list.
Twisting my words Jpap, my post 93 says
As you can see I never said anything about Sway not helping the town. I also said that DD was a good choice because she was hard to read, not as much because she didn't help the town. She plays both sides really well and I didn't want to get caught off guard. 1st day votes suck but its better to take out a hard to read person and be wrong then a person that is prone to slip up if mafia.
Now I'm really out, had to get some things together for work,glad I left the comp on.
Not as suspicious as they would be if we didn't have 2 competing mafia teams. With 2 competing teams, even the mafia can't be SURE they're lynching innocents.
What's more suspicious is that Jo says he's going to wait to vote and then votes for Swayde 45 minutes later.... DC says that he agrees with Ice, and praises him for discovering that Swayde was mafia (even though Chas and I discussed it first). Kind of silly for me to fight for credit on a bad lynch, I know. I said earlier, though, the fact DC drops credit in Ice's lap says he may not be reading the thread as closely as he should be.
I can see that. I think a coupla people have shown themselves by not reading posts. My vote sits on the first, but I'm definitely going to look more at DC. I still think that there are mafia amongst that "cluster". Not all by any means, but some trying to blend in.
I do realize other were involved in the whole investigation, but he was the first I noticed that voted for her and thus it stuck out as I was typing...Sorry I left you guys off my 'Works Cited' page....

your posts make me 100% sure, i mean..its pretty obvious your not playing like you have in past games..plus the whole thing with swayde has brought you under suspicion..and your trying your best to put the spotlight on someone else.
