most of you dont seem to happy about me naming innocents as i find them, should i stop, and let them be lynched while the mafia sits back and laughs?

if a innocent player is suspected of being mafia, that takes heat off of actual mafia players, if that innocent is proven to be innocent, it puts the heat back on mafia players and makes it easier to pick them out.

any of the mafia from game 6(including me) know of this..mikendanielle was like a goat for us, as long as he was around it was easy for us to work since all the suspicion was on him.

i stated that innocents would be named as i find them without naming roles that would benefit the town, if you guys don't want innocents named, then what should i tell you all when an investigation comes through innocent? either way the mafia will know i found an innocent..i may be ranting..but this type of thing is starting to **** me off.

As far as the mafia knowing that JL was innocent, not necessarily true.... There are two teams, and neither knows who is on the other team. All any mafia team can know is who isn't on their team... Even when the mafia knows who all innocents are, once someone's innocent status is known to the town, it allows the town to focus their search on a smaller pool of suspects. This makes known innocents mafia targets....The only reason that I believe Wata wasn't hit, is that the mafia is fishing for the doctor. Why else hit DD?

With regard to reporting the status of innocents, it would be ideal if you could wait to see that an innocent might actually be lynched before reporting on their status. Problem is that townies would then need enough time to revote, and mafia might then be able to leave their vote parked on an innocent and just claim that they never saw your warning....It's kind of a double-edged sword.

The mafia is in a race to find the doctor, while we're in a race to find mafia. At some point our luck may run out.

I see benefits to withholding the status of innocents, as well as benefits to reporting it.

i dont know what to think here..

if you want me to withold the information when i get an investigation in, then what will i say to the the town? "i would like to withold tonights investigation info" i would have to say this, or something similar if i find a mafia also, if not...the mafia will know i've found an innocent.

maybe i should just say "no mafia tonight" and not say names unless the person is about to by lynched, like you said

There is also a one in seven chance we hit the doc. You are hellbent on saving the MP for later Mad. Let's see, his first list had three innocents on it. He voted for JL, who we now know is innocent. His next list has HN and me. His reason, cause i tried to vote him off. Really helpful isn't he. So when should we deal with MP??? After we lynch the doc??? I'm pretty suspicious of anyone that feels "MP" should be dealt with later.

Maybe you didn't read the part where I said that I didn't want to randomly lynch ANYONE, but that we had a better shot of hitting mafia in my suspect pool...pretty sure if we use our brains that we might be able to come up with a better suspect than just guessing on MP at this point. Your argument sounds like we should lynch MP just because we know they're not the doctor.

While I didn't like DD on MP's list, I also was starting to like JL66 as mafia. I lynched Swayde, and incorrectly accused Wata (both known innocents). I even put Sploke on a list of suspects, and I know that I'm not mafia....IMO MP hasn't been particularly helpful, but they're not screaming mafia, either.

While MP may be mafia, I think that there are stronger cases for lynching other suspects...I can't figure why people are spending so much time on trying to lynch a 'maybe' at this point.

JPappy-for not voting and not being helpful to the town. His last post was a list that basically included everyone and stated that Wata and KOTD were known innocents. Also, DD had him on her list as he was all over her on Ice issues.

Ok, why I had no vote...I have been completely off the site for 24 hours now and was only on for about half an hour last night. I did not feel comfortable placing a vote with minimal time to read/analyze the day's posts and also why I didn't state reasons for people (I was pretty much out the door) just names. I even pm'd rb explaining why I would not have a vote. My post supposedly casts a wide net, well I don't know why you think that...I was only really suspicious about the ones on "my list," the others were basically where I stood on people...a reference for myself and everyone really...

It's a tough call...townies would need to have time to revote, mafia could vote late (and give some excuse) so you couldn't see a train coming, mafia could also leave their vote parked and claim to have never seen your warning.

Maybe just withold an investigation unless you think that a townie is in serious jeapordy of being lynched. Not necessarily just through votes, but you'll need to gauge what transpired the day before, and then try to figure how likely a particular candidate is to be lynched. Kind of like with Wata. Had you not intervened early, talk from around the town from the day before indicated that she probably would have been lynched..

So, I don't know which method is best. While I thought I did at first, it's now clear that there are potential problems with each.

The good news it that you only need to find 3 more innocents and then everyone else is mafia (who really knows with MP, though).

I am glad KOTD is posting about who is innocent. I would have hell bent to vote for wata if it was not for KOTD investigation. I also think that many would have posted for me if not for KOTD investigation.

I am not even worried about the mafia hitting me. The longer we can keep KOTD in the game the better.

I think it was a mistake to let mystery player live.

I know this much, the mafia are not going to hit mystery player. Why, because they add to the confusion. I sure bet sploke and dangerdoll wished we voted mp yesterday.

I know that I thought HN was less mafia than sploke, so where does that leave HN. HN could have voted for the train I was trying to start, but did not. That says something, the heat was on him.

I say we lynch mystery loser and then investigate from your list.

I see no reason to push any harder. If the rest of you wish to lynch someone else, that is fine.

I think that we loose if it is 4 against 4. Maybe they have to outnumber us.

Either way, we might have a day left.
