Mafia #70: The Time Vortex

I need a break, I will try to check back after a bit.

Just need to give these tired brain cells a rest.

Holy crap bad nightfall! And to be stuck in the gunslinger game of all games...

Yes Rich, this was the game where I slid by to win for the scum team when it was originally played (thanks JB ;) ).

I vote to add Ice to the game and hand him the gun.

I think the best thing we can all do as townies is be as active as possible. We can't allow the scum to hide, that's how I made it through that game as scum.

In that format, Ice had the gun (yes the mafia gave Ice the gun) and he killed most of them right off the bat.

I am pretty sure he came out and we discussed things.

If I am given the gun, I would like to know who the town wants shot.

I think we all listed 3 players.

Mine would be Orge, Wiz and Lab.

It might be better to wait to see who has the gun first...

I'm not sure who I would want to shoot...knee jerk reaction is Ogre, but if he was the scum turn and has now been reversed then idk. I'm gonna have to think on this a while and look at the current player list.

Jeez, what a ghastly night that was losing 3 townies. I seriously don't get their hit either. No offense to FF intended, but who on a scum team would hit someone so well known for being lynchable? That strategy makes no sense. So at least their hit was a miss, really, when they had to be trying to nail a PR. Maybe they figured their better choices might be protected?

At this point, I was going to vote Ogre after seeing Zsand was one of ours. No one else wanted him dead more than him. Now, I guess, we just wait and see what happens.

BAH!

forget the nightfall part...force of habit...there are no votes for this "day" and you will be notified when the "day" is over.

no votes? I dont get it........

It's the gunslinger game, Noods...

One person basically gets "hits" and goes until he hits a townie.

The gunslinger game.

That's what I was guessing too when I read that. It's the only nightless game we've played. Mad brought that format to us with the Gunslinger game for the first time. But we don't have Ice here to pull the trigger for us. :(

Thanks. so we just sit around like sitting ducks then?

Pretty much, yes. As I remember the game, though, everyone knew Ice was the Gunslinger at the time. It wasn't anonymous like this and he coordinated the town in the process. Had us answering questions he posed, then he chose his target based on his read of our responses.

If you are mafia.

Not only that... we could lose another innocent before the person picks someone scummy.

Whoever gets the gun, be sure to shoot Pappy for us?

I did not play this one, is this not the game were LR managed to sneak through after Ice nailed 3 in a row.

Yes, it has to be.

:iagree:

I was thinking about this game for the last few minutes.

1. Yes, this was the game where Labby snowed the town; and I lost the game by not shooting her.:omg:

2. This is also the game where we learned that as a town, we suck at picking out scum.

We need to get people as active as possible and posting so whoever has the gun can make a good decision.

Also, it sounds to me like the turn was done by the good guys, so I think we can still trust Rich as a confirmed innocent. Anyone have a thought on this?

I keep thinking about the players who haven't really been looked at much yet. JL, Kash, Noods, Labby, me for that matter.

I'll confess that I haven't had much of a clue so far, but I didn't play in any of the other formats. This one I remember well, and the best way to give the GS a good shot is to start throwing questions around and see who says what.

I'll be right back...
