This post keeps coming back to haunt me as I was reading LG's post

I'm sure to also cause some confusion with people, now the thought will be "were they both mafia" or at least that is what he would be hoping if you are innocent. Could be either way as I see it right now, either he didn't name you because you are innocent and he want us to think you are mafia because he didn't name you....or he didn't name you because you are mafia and he wants us to think the opposite way. See...confusion, it makes you second guess why he did what he did.

LG gives a pretty detailed explanation to me as to why HN would have posted it. However, she didn't allow for what other's have said that maybe it was a slip.

It's more important because apparently you're afraid to move your vote, in case HN were to place a vote and not UD. So what, though? Why is it important to keep your vote on HN, as opposed to moving to Wiz, when Wiz and HN are equally scummy?

You'd be okay with Wiz dying if HN dies also, but if HN votes you'd rather he die over Wiz?

Ok, Mad when first reading this I took it the way you meant it, after the Hooked comment I thought more of you "daring" him to move it...then Hooked could move his vote back and seal it. For now I am going to believe the first that you were just asking him if he really felt they were equally evil why not move the vote.

She then went on to apparently defend Mad numerous times.

My question is why?

Is she affraid that the team is being discovered too quickly for comfort?

Or is it an attempt to align herself with some one she knows to be innocent, thus making herself look good?

It will take some thought.

Dawg, you started the whole "race" for me and Mad because you said we used the word fish...then Mad started questioning you about it. You then changed to Mad because he "pushed" for JB to change his vote. Weren't you late on Hooked? I have to look back and see when you actually voted him.

Ogre, you started with Wizard was highest suspect adding me, noods, john, and Z. You then turned to Z is mafia, and I am high suspect or what ever. You were first on Wizard and stayed there right. What thoughts did you have on Hooked, have to go back and look.

I'm thinking my thoughts on Wizard are wrong, and at this time am going to lean him more innocent.

Ogre - I also have Z leaning scum. I stated yesterday (or the day before) that he had plenty of posts and they were all jokes. He seemed to be avoiding any topics pertaining to the actual game at all. I realize he was out of town or something but if he was going to post he could have posted some actual thoughts instead of BS...

LG - regardless of the code words, I still think you are scummy. I have already stated why several times.

So here's a couple of questions:

Did hooked switch off Wiz to protect him and then back on when it was obvious to everyone that HN was the lynch target (again to protect Wiz)?

There are five players with multiple votes whose votes never landed on Hooked: LadyG, Zsand, John, Zaffy, Noods

Communication:
Now, I'm assuming that the mafia can communicate. Of course, I hadn't considered this until just an hour or so ago, but even if they couldn't communicate, then they should still know who each other is.

SO, was there an effort to save hooked newbie?

I had prepared some thoughts on the concerted effort to save Wiz, when hooked turned out innocent, but since he's mafia, was there any effort to save him?
I don't really see one. Everyone who voted for hook, stayed there.

At this point, The Wizard is highly suspicious, but is it really just saving his own rump, or was it throwing HN under the bus?

So, my top suspects are (not necessarily in this order): TheWiz, Zsand, John, LadyG, Noods, Zaffy.

Unfortunately, I can't really think of anything to ask that would help me decide right now.

OH, I agree that either could happen... however, I'm pretty much going to ignore the headlines. It only leads to BS arguments.

Zsand is playing very much like he has in the past, when he's been mafia. He also wasted a vote on a UD. He also ignored the main topic of conversation during this day turn and voted for someone that everyone else has ignored (in terms of voting) today.

For those reasons, I choose to vote Z and move him to the head of the mafia list.

You however, I was more willing to give a pass on. Personally, I thought the whole 'code word' issue was bogus form the beginning. FISH!!! see?

However, your recent behavior (not the least of which is missing the three posts previously where I described my reasoning for voting Zsand (and including you on the suspect list) has really elevated you position in the mafia meter.


For now, I will leave me vote on Zsand.

I would REALLY, REALLY like to hear what others think of him as a mafia. However, if it looks like the voting for Z will go no further than me, I will (now) happily change my vote to LadyG, who, until now, I didn't suspect that much.

OTOH, I will continue to push for Z as mafia.

Ummm, no Ogre that post was after night fall...post number 664 actually where you said Wizard was highest suspect.
As far as the way Z is playing...well from all the games I played with him and there were many, he pretty much played the same rather evil or innocent, heck I know many times I went after him just SURE he was evil and he ended up being innocent.
HOW in the heck can you say in this post you didn't suspect me "that much until now" you wanted a race between Z and I....I would hope if you are willing to through a race out there for 2 players you actually think they are BOTH mafia?

LG piqued my interest early in the game with the way she was absolutely pushing her theory on which "game" we were playing, like she was insisting we agree with her. I feel this was an attempt to divert others attention from trying to find out what game we really were in and possibly rooting out a scum bag. The events preceeding nightfall, as being discussed today, solidify my thoughts even more.

For now I vote to lynch HN

Of the two people with the most votes I feel HN is a better choice for scum. His admittedly fluff filled list and his quick vote for Wiz for a small issue is what has me leaning that way. I also want to see a closer race between Wiz and HN as I think it will tell us more than a landslide on Wiz will. It may provoke some movement closer to night.

At this time, only three others were left to vote. Two of which UDed and it looked like they were going too. I'm not sure it seemed such a "risk" for him to jump on "just in case" to look good in the end.
When Hooked pulled off himself, I remember a post that stood out from Dawg, will have to find it.
