Mafia #70: The Time Vortex

Well, at this time I retract my vote on JB

After getting caught up, I think Hooked is standing out way more he hasn't played in a while I realize, but his day one list of nothing does nothing. Wiz is close behind him, yes maintaining your tanks are important and a new SW can be tricky I know that, but I can't help but get the "ickies" when reading his posts. FF rings bells to me, not for the whole invisible/uninvisible thing...but for his answering about it.

Then we have the non/barely posters that are buggin the heck outta me. I know it is day one, there is much to go on but if you signed up to play you can at least try. The only reason I see to barely post, is so you don't post anything anyone can question you about....TRS, Mollies, Fire, Noods, RB, I mean come on guys/gals.

Should read "there is NOT much"

HN's list seems like :bs:to me... gives me anxiety.
As others have said, FF seems to be playing differently; but I'm not willing to venture a guess as to why atm.

Mad seems a little too helpful... that might very well be my own paranoia.

I'd love to get all OMGUSY and go after RB, but I'm just not getting that vibe from him.

So far I'm liking Wiz or HN for my vote.

Yes , I did skim the rules in the sign up thread. I was going to take a break this time around. I didn't because when Jpappy layed this game out in the mafia thread, it sounded like fun and I was looking forward to it.

When I am through answering questions I will read the rules more thoroughly.

Since I signed up I made a commitment to play and I will honor that by posting when I can and asking questions where I feel they need to be asked.

HN tucked himself right behind Ogre to get an early and convenient vote on the board. I could understand Ogre's reaction to Wizard at the time Ogre voted him... Wizard seemed to jump all over me shortly afterward and I was tempted to vote him for it myself. I decided to hold off on that, however, because of the way he and JL got into it last game... deciding at that time it probably didn't mean either of them were evil. And they both turned out to be townies who were butting heads with each other more than anything else.

While I'm presently undecided still about Wizard's play this early, I've also seen him post aggressively (and being kind of obnoxious about it) before... I mostly attribute that now to him still being a little fired up after our last game, along with some increased confidence he's picked up as a player.

I'm still not sure about FF either, which is why I'm waiting to see more from both of them before making a call in either regard.

HN on the otherhand, jumped right in with what seems to me as an opportunistic place to drop his vote. My impression of HN's play (so far) is he'd likely have voted anyone else who might have been stepping on toes at the time because that gives him a ready defense built-in to justify it later.

Now, on to HN's second post.



HN says I'm being "helpful" while most everyone else he labels scummy. Perhaps he should try actually being helpful, himself, at some point rather than following along and blending in so much. Neither his vote nor his player run down rate very high for content or value.

OK, question, if I vote to lynch Kashta for getting me addicted to these games, is that a legitimate reason? :banher:

After a very long crappy day at work the interruptions continue at home!

Regardless, I think I am caught up now. The Wiz/Ogre issue does seem a bit "staged", so my vote will most likely go there. Not too sure about the Kash/Wiz banter. I am inclined to think it is a pair having fun giving each other a hard time in the game. JMO

Zsand bothers me a bit. He has posted plenty but the majority of his posts are jsut jokes. Nothing of substance at all....

Wiz posts 8 min after the start...
Wiz posts 10 min after the start...
Ogre posts 38 min after the start with Whizz's infamous "slip" post
Ogre posts again 65 min after the start
Lady posts 1 hr and 40 min after start
Wizzers posts 4 hrs and 12 mins after start, commenting to Lady
Whizer posts 8 hrs and 43 min after start slamming Ogre about the "slip"


Maybe their chat room didn't open until later and they had a plan...?
