Lady G, I believe that's the second time this afternoon you've expressed reservations about your vote (or all the other votes) on Wizard. I do understand that position... there are 3 scum who already know who the innocents are and neither of them wants us to figure them out.
But why is it you feel it necessary to post like that...
twice even? I don't see anyone else doing this (so far) except you. I also don't see anyone else stressing about the possibility that HN might be lynched either and flips innocent during nightfall results. But there're just as many votes on him right now as there are on Wizard.
I can't help but wonder if you know Wizard's role and are already trying to figure out what you'll say later tonight when (or if) Wizard dies and his role is revealed to us. If that were the case (Wizard innocent and Lady G scum), I'm sure you WOULD be a little nervous right now, knowing you may be questioned tomorrow for voting him.
Is that what's really going on with you? Or do you seriously worry so much (as a townie) that you're voting alongside other possible/probably mafias (for real)... to the point you feel compelled to share those feelings/misgivings (?) in 2 separate posts?
The fact of the matter is..... no matter who we lynch tonight, the odds are very high that they'll still turn up innocent. No matter how hard we try to root out the bad guys, the first few nights usually go against us anyway. That's just how this works. It's really hard for
anyone to pinpoint who the evils are with virtually nothing to go on yet.
So I guess what I'm asking is this. If you're really concerned about this (enough that you've posted those reservations twice already)... then doesn't that mean you're pretty suspicious of the people you're voting with? .......Maybe a little more or a little less. But then if that's true, why are you keeping your vote there?
You've stated many times you believe Wizard is scum based on his posts. But if that's really true, then wouldn't you be a little more confident that you've made the right call..... or at least a legitimate (and defensible) one?
And whether or not there are scum voting with you or scum just trying to blend in with you (all), what does it really matter if it turns out you're mistaken and you've helped them kill a townie? That's a possibility we all face, but we're not all posting about like you've done with so little time to go before nightfall.
I'm not saying Lady G is evil or Wizard is townie. I don't have a crystal ball... I can't guess who's who anymore than anyone else can on Day 1. It's just that we all vote the best way we can and really have to let the chips fall wherever they do.
In case someone else wonders what prompted me to ask this, here are the posts from Lady G which stood out to me. (And maybe this jumped out a bit for me because Lady G's first comment of this tone was specifically addressed to me.)
Although, I agree a landslide on day one bothers me...that IS where my vote is Kash. I never said I thought he didn't look scummy. I gave my reasons for my vote (unlike most of the others who IMO did just followed). I still do not like how many are on him. IMO though, he is my best thought for what is out there. His posting DID seem scummy to me, it did not in any way seem helpful. (not that there is alot of "helpful" posts out there). I can see how others are voting for HN. I agree his "list" looked bad. '
What I said I didn't like that Dawg agreed with was the votes on Mollies
That really sounds kinda defensive to me.. already. Like you're already trying to justify who you're voting
before anyone even asks you to explain it.
I've picked up a real bad feeling in other games where I thought other people were piling on behind me and it made me second guess the wisdom of my vote, so much so that I've switched my vote before night fell because of that.
I must also question your word choice there, as well, Lady G. "His posting DID seem scummy..." DID? Past tense? Why didn't you say his posting DOES seem scummy to you (still).... or phrase that as his posting STILL seems scummy to you?
Wow, that was a quick and easy switch. Not that I think it was a bad one, as I do see where a case can be made for HN.
I agree also, I do not like "landslide" votes....yes I know my vote is one of them on Wizard, and I stand behind that vote but I will admit it makes me very nervous when there are so many on one.
Here, again. Lady G posted the exact same sentiment again that she'd already established a short time earlier. Repeating those concerns just seems or feels kinda weird (IMO).
Lady G, if you like your vote where it is, just leave it there and be done with it. But why keep posting about it as you're doing like it's a huge dilemma for you or like you're really concerned what others are going to think of you (and your affiliation) as a result?
Your vote isn't any different from anyone else's and it doesn't mean anything more than the rest of ours does... or does it?
