I saw one of Lady G's posts again where she comments about the phrasing I used being inaccurate. Speaking of "slip ups," Lady G... looks like someone else needs to be more careful with their wording. I wasn't as far off in my post as you were in yours.

Here's my post again from earlier. And the line Lady G makes so much of is highlighted in red, just like she colored it in her post when she quoted me.



I'd looked at the thread and stated I was drawing votes. Okay, simple enough. I was vague about that when I should have been specific.

Here's where Lady G pulled my post to question me about this.



Lady G... this was obviously a high concern for you in deciding whether I'm likely to be pro-town or one of the vampires. You choice this point as your basis for voting me when you could have cited other reasons instead.

Let me ask you why you "slipped up" as well by rephrasing my original sentence differently than I actually wrote it? Was that just being careless, vague, or inaccurate at the time? Or were you intending to slightly alter my intended meaning?

Present tense: I said I was drawing votes. And yes at the time, I thought I was.

The way I phrased that is pretty close, actually, to what I meant to say at the time... as I was, it appeared from the posts I'd just seen, in the process of drawing votes.

Past tense: For some reason Lady G was less accurate about this than I was.... saying I saw I had drawn votes.

Lady G and I both know/agree I had not drawn votes already at the time I posted that. Then Lady G decided to use this line to vote me while accusing me of "slipping up."

More to the point of the matter... I think. Is what exactly does this "slip up" reveal to the rest of you in terms of whether my role is innocent or evil? Though I always strive to be as clear and precise as I can be in my word choice, grammar, and phrasing to avoid possible misunderstandings, even I'm not going to do this flawlessly in every post I make. No one is.

But how does this on its own, indicate innocence or guilt? How would it have mislead anybody about anything for me to mistakenly claim I had votes on me when I didn't... yet? I don't see the point of the fuss Lady G made/keeps making over that one line. She already has plenty of other reasons to vote me if that's what she wants to do.

AHAHAHAHHAHAHAAHA!!!! You are really drawing for straws here aren't ya or have you drawn for them. That has to be one of the funniest things I've seen you make into a case ever. I mean really Kash are you that desperate?

Let's say, for example, that JM shows up and changes his vote from Ice to Kashta. That would put us at a tie. The same is true of course from other names already there. But as I've already called JM out, I'd like to see if his vote stays where it is.

Other vote switches at this point would be equally suspicious IMO.

I got what you meant after the explanation. I'm just really not sure what to make of it all. Thanks for the example though... made it more concrete. Do you think JM is more or less likely to change now that you've called him out?

No i didn't. Im going with Kashta by voting Ice. Kashta is the lesser of the 2 evils. Im going against Ice by voting him. He is the greater of the 2 evils.
 
The thing I don't get is you were so precise so detailed, yet you failed to noticed you really had no votes? Then tell everyone who had votes on you to keep them there, I mean really Kash

Not at all, Lady G.... which is why I suggested the runoff in the first place.

Zombie Kashta knows her way around a ghost chat board and THIS time, the game mod lets us kill someone.

Nice plan there Kash. I see you're not as willing to do a runoff as you said earlier.
Threatening a vote change by anyone as being scummy is scummy.

I still refuse to help tie it up though, I still think unless you got turned last night that you are just looking to hard.
