Mafia 72-Vampires game thread

When Pap was Bit then slayed, it was in the nightfall events...had Kash been their intended victim I'm sure it would of been mentioned that their bite was messed up by the Lynch.

Why are you sure of that? That kashta was going to be their target is the only logical explanation unless LabRat isn't giving the priest credit when credit is due. There is no reason for the vampires not to try and turn someone each and every night. Either they get a new team mate and get closer to the 50% to win or they kill off an innocent.

That is exactly why I'm 99% sure FF is on his own. His team mates would not have allowed him to do that last second vote unless Ice is a vampire even then I doubt it. 1. if FF was on a team his team mates would not want him to draw attention to himself with a last second vote swap. 2. If both of the people who were up tonight for staking were innocent they wouldn't care who died. 3, FF has made it abundantly clear that no one is reigning him in right now.

FF may have just saved a sticky situation by getting kashta killed if she was indeed the target of the bite tonight after Ice showed vampire. She would have been in perfect position to manipulate and I know that Ice and yourself would have taken notice of the advantage that would propose for the vampire team. There is the slight possibility that the priest did a bang up job tonight and saved someone but it is much more likely in my mind that the vampires were going to turn her.

I have to disagree, It is highly unlikely that they would risk a bite on someone that painted such a big target on their back, or heart as it were.

I would have to think that they would have tried someone not in the running. They have a 50/50 chance of turning they would just be trying to get numbers to build their team.

did you skim all of the days posts? or do you just start with the current ones when you check the thread?

My vote has been on FF all day. check the post where I voted him and you will see why. his vote change and Kashta showing innocent is just one more reason to add to the reason I voted him initially. I posted that as well. stop skimming and start reading.

I always read every post but sadly I do not memorize them. Let me ask you this, if Kashta was indeed the target of the vampire bite tonight, did FF's last minute vote change end up helping the town or hurting it? Why?

you seem mighty sure and positive that Kashta was the target of the vampire team.

How can you be so sure? Do you know something we don't?

I am not following you here.

They lost one bite when the slayer staked Pappy, so I would think they would try every night to get more on their team.
They really didn't loose out much, yes the CHANCE they could of got a turn, it is still early in the game they have time, but by not going for the bite this night, an innocent still went (possibly Ice is innocent also so no risk of loosing one of their own) they can "set up" an innocent to be lynched and get a bite next nightfall.
Let say both Ice and Kash were innocent....one goes and as Dag is doing right now they point at the other saying the one who went was their bite and they lost it. See his theory could work on either one of them if they are both innocent.
Now, look at Ice if he is vamp and didn't go for the bite...he has the chance to set up 2Hob because they were not here at nightfall. Making it look as though they didn't send in the "bite".
Plus, look how much confusion they have caused by NOT going for it.
Just the way I see it.

IF Kash was their victim or the "save" of the priest I'm almost positive it would of been in the nightfall.

Would that target be on Kashta's back if Ice exploded at the staking? I for one think it would have shown Kashta definitely is an innocent who just led the charge to get a vampire staked.

She wouldn't of added the part about Pap in a nightfall event, if she wasn't going to continue to do things that way. She said it would be stated if someone was turned or not, I'm sure the bite of a lynch victim would be included.

So you are saying that the vampire team didn't target anyone tonight? I find it hard to believe in a team building game where you need to get 50% of the players to win that you wouldn't take out an innocent or gain a member. Why are you almost positive that it would have been in the nightfall?

Your theories all depend on Kashta being the target. I don't think that they would have risked it.

The vote count was too close. there are plenty of warm bodies, sort of, all they need is numbers.

As we have seen this town has a tendency to lynch innocents so if they just keep adding numbers then they get 2 people closer everynight.

She had to add the part about Jpap because he got killed. I'm sure the only reason that she had him bite then staked by the hunter was because of a coin flip to determine if he would be a good or bad spirit.
