Mafia 72-Vampires game thread

What I want to know is how you KNOW that means the vamps were going to target Kash, see this is where I first thought "set up" on your part.

Because I really can't see any reason that the vampires would not attempt to bite someone. Since there was no mention of priest protecting someone logically one can assume that the vampires were targeting someone who they could no longer target. aka Kashta. And according to your tense you are saying that I knew before hand the vampires would target kashta? If that is the case that is completely wrong, I only figured out they were trying to target kashta when nightfall ended without any other deaths or conversions.

Someone asked earlier if I've played on other boards? May have been JB? No I haven't. I said before this game started, I started following along three games ago.

Wish I had something good to say to you FF...I'll just leave it at way to go Mr Palmer.

Do you guys really think the Vampire team is sloppy enough to not call in a bite. Give me a break!! They even immediately looked to pin a missed call in on me. Funny...I know I told everyone I wouldn't be around at nightfall, and I wasn't. I didn't say I may not be, or I hope to be back, I said I won't be around. The vampires called in there bite on Kash, it can't go through if she's dead. They didn't expect a last minute flip by anyone. They were looking for a replacement for Ice. Who better than someone we trust that just helped us kill a vampire.
Look over the posts...Two vampires Ice and Wizard put pressure on MR. Palmer (A innocent townee) to switch, all the time telling him to do what he thought was right. Would any of us not have targeted FF. How much easier can it get. They then both jump out and vote him.
I'll be around tomorrow to convince anyone who doesn't vote Ice, and Lady I need to start with you.

As I stated when dag started on his "theory" that you also seem to place a lot of weight behind. I was on FF all day. my post states that.

I only questioned his vote initially when placed as he did the same thing he jumped on others for. "taking the easy way"


If I stated sound reason for voting him for D2, and nothing better showed why on earth wouldn't I vote him D3?

But between dags posts and now yours an admitted newbie that is playing much better than someone who read 3 games should, and dag admitted when he joined us here he played on another site, it starts to form a picture and maybe my vote is in the wrong place after all.

Think I know which two players I will spend tomorrow evening pulling their posts to see what I can see.

1) FF has been CI as well and pretty much messed it up. Just because he is all over the place doesn't mean he isn't on a team.As stated before, and I know you remember,Dag, how well JB reigned him in. JB is the only one that has been able to control FF.

2) Dag, there are only two ways you could know the vamps were going to target Kashta and your avatar doesn't look like LR's. That leaves just one way. Would you care to own up to that?

Nice to know you know exactly what the vamps did. How in the world can you say they didn't expect a last minute switch? Last minute switches happen all the time. Nope don't believe the vamps would pick any of the top votes.
My vote will stay on Dag I think we need to go with him or you IF you happen to turn up innocent, which I highly doubt then we can go for Ice, Wizard, me, whoever...but I think the two of you pretty much have came out

I did not know they were going to target kashta. I used logical reasoning to come to that conclusion after nightfall. If you assume that the vampires will try to convert or kill someone every night (which i really see no reason why they would not *sorry Lady G your conspiracy theory is thinner sarah jessica parker*) and since there was no mention of the priest protecting anyone or of any conversions, that leaves only that the vampire target was not in the game any longer. I will admit there is slight possibility that the priest successfully saved someone but I would think that Lab Rat would mention something.

Also for my prior experience in playing this game off this website, I played half a game on another fish site and that was my first game. Nothing you can say will be able to convince me that Ice isn't a vampire. More and more i am getting convinced that you are a vampire also.

The reason for that was i had waited as long as possible b4 voting kashta, to make certain no one else would follow and guarantee her lynch. I intended for a coin flip, and i got one. The outcome just wasn't as good as i'd hoped...

As I stated yesterday, unless his team mate claims to be a vampire, I doubt that my vote will change.

I will be pulling posts to see what I can find but I feel pretty good about my vote as it stands right now.

Just one question: If i was a vamp, why would i vote switch. Don't say to save a teammate, casue that would be stupid. I had little suspition on myself, and vote switching to save Ice would have just incriminated him like it has. My vote switching would not have helped the scum team if both me and Ice were scum, cause then you would have 2 people to look at who were vamps. Instead, you have at least 1 innocent to look at.

If I had voted FF D1 tonight might have had a different outcome.

Well at this point I'd almost stake FF guilty or not - either way he is dangerous.
I still have concerns about Ice and 2H as well.

Dangerous why? Cause I messed up? Cause I vote switched to make it a coin flip with two people the town had decided were the most likely scum? How does that work out? And why would you vote me even if i wasn't a vamp? That would only hurt the town.

Yep, no teams have been able to control me, cept JB's team. And you all(should) remember what happened that game (i lasted till the evils won) which is very different from this game.

NO NO NO!
Thats exactly why the scum team would skip the hit/turn! LG and Dag have been arguing about it all night, so they couldn't have had time to look elsewhere! The vamps want to distract you from the game, and get you worked up over nothing. Their turn/hit failed, thats all that matters. Not why. Why just gets you distracted and confused in these games. Its the actions that matter most.

I am sorry Dag but I think if Kash was the bite then LR would have mentioned it. I do not think the vamps would have gone near her anyway. There are plenty of other good targets out there.
