OK... I'm going out for a little bit, but wanted to post on what I'm seeing this morning... I'll take it player by player since there's a ton of scum in the few posts since I was last on...
2H, I'd love to help you with your question, but it was Dag's post, so I think I'll let him do his own clarifying.JB, I'll try to answer you question in just a minute, but first I need some more help with this statement. I don't see how staking wiz will help us know the vampire count.
It does answer my question, 2H; but it reeks of :bs:. Here's why:I got home last night right after nightfall. Started reading where I left off and really didn't see anything to get fired up about, (on like other nights.)
I was very surprised Rich was a townee (which I'm sure isn't a stretch for you to believe), but really wasn't all that surprised that Kash got JM1212. She has been at least a full day ahead of me the whole game. I thought it would have been brilliant for them to hide a vote on ICE, but was nowhere in knowing if, or who. Judge was also a big surprise to me. (Not that she was a townee, but that she UD'd) While it may have seemed I was after her I wasn't, she had fallen way down my list of suspects.
I don't know if that answer's your question or not JB, but I also expect to be around most if not all of this game day.
Well, 2H; at this point, I believe I have a pretty good grasp on FF's game. Ever since the game where we were evil together, I've been able to read him pretty well. I believe I may be able to learn something from his responses. Look back through the last few games if you want; I've pegged him a couple of times. And just for the record let me say that I don't see how asking FF to explain his actions, or defend his position is helping anyone.
I also will agree that our best more would seem to be off of Wiz, and let the slayer have him.
What difference does it make? Really? I agree that saving the slayer's stake is a very bad idea, but how many vamps are left could help determine if we win or lose tonight.OK, What difference at this point does it matter how many vamps are left? Our goal should be to go after two. Saving the slayer's stake in my opinion is a terrible idea.
If we get two, and win a stinking coin toss maybe the game ends.
I actually agree with this post, but the first line gives me anxiety. Sorry for posting again? WTF? The best way for the town to win this thing is for people to post. Were you apologizing to the scumden? Did they tell you to try and lay low but you just couldn't resist?I'm sorry to post again, but the more I think about this the more it REALLY bothers me, and I know it's unfair because she is gone and can't respond, but could someone else find a single example of her "helping the town" somewhere this whole game?
I don't like this plan at all. That last stake is hugely important. It could win the game for the town. If Dag doesn't find another vamp and we stake Wiz, then the slayer is still left on their own to make a decision. I don't like hinging the game's results on such a big "if".I was thinking, and this is just a thought here but what if the slayer waited another night (they only have one stake left). We take Wiz, the for sure and the slayer could wait to see what Dags invest turns up. IF he finds another Vamp the Slayer could get that one? Not sure that is really the best thing to do...but it is an option.
To the first paragraph... WTF? Can you really think this is a good idea? If Dag names who he would invest, I can see the vamps biting exactly that person... it gives whoever is left plausible deniability. They could use it to give up that person and make themselves look good to the rest of the town. But part of me thinks you already know that...This is true that they already know who is innocent. There is ONE advantage (I think) of you naming who you are going to invest. IF they are an innocent, I doubt the vamps would choose them for their bite THAT night since the invest comes after the bite...they would show as Vamp in your invest giving us another to take.
I see your point, but at the same time couldn't they also know we would think this same thing?
Sorry if I seem to be "screaming" innocent, I was just saying my point. As I said I can't and don't expect anyone to believe me. Of course I hope everyone does...but I can't blame anyone for not believing me. As I said all I can say is I wasn't.
One thing that sticks in my head from Ice...was his post where he said there were 3 vamps. It makes me wonder if that was an incorrect number.
LG, I have to start out by saying thanks for the compliment; that was a very nice thing to say. With that out of the way; I can assure you that investing me would be a huge waste. We would gain nothing from it other than you knowing what I already do. Which you can tell if you look at my posts objectively.I also agree with us saying who we think would be good invest's. Dag makes his own decision obviously but we can give our opinions.
My choice would be JB. He is good, no one has really said much about him and I think he would be a good person to know for sure one way or the other (even if it is only for a day).
As far as voting if I had to go with what has been posted so far, my vote would have to go to either FF or 2Hob. The thing is Ice went after FF so badly, which makes it seem he would be innocent, but Ice being Ice could have been going after him because he would think in our eyes there is no way FF could be vamp. Then there is the whole late vote switch that made it look as if he was "protecting" Ice that night, again I could see Ice having him do that in hopes to take the heat off himself.
Now, I've been wrong about pretty much everything so far...so really I just don't know what I think at this point.
OK if G is screaming innocent then this will probably be screaming scum to some. I debated whether to say this for a number of reasons not the least of which is if I'm wrong then it hurts the town, I also don't want to give Wiz an excuse if he's guilty, but in the end it needs to be said.
There is a another possabilty that would be risky for the vamps but would also be Ice caliber play. Ice was a goner, a desperate man, he could have Dag come out and put the nail in his coffin, but also implicate an innocent. Dag looks golden and we stake an innocent. The game is close enough that this type of hail mary play could give the vamps the win.
LG... the thing that bothers me about this isn't that you're looking for the turn. We're all doing that. I believe also that it is Wiz and last night's turn left. The part that ruffles me is that you're again making WIFOM arguments rather than looking at posts and gameplay. There are enough excellent strategists on the vamp team at this point. All they need are warm bodies. Who would they leave behind... indeed.Well, guess that would be true...so we most likely only have Wiz and "the turn".
So, then who would they turn? They know we know Wiz so he is gone no matter what...who would they leave behind to try to win it for them?
I have to go to work now, will be back later and catch up on everyones thoughts.
Here LG agrees with Chill's idea that Dag might yet be a vamp. While I admit it is a possibility; I just don't see it being the case this time; again, I won't go into detail; but I'm 99.99% sure Dag is who he says he is. This being said, I don't fault Chill for bringing up the possibility. I had the same thought myself before nightfall. What bothers me is LG subtly supporting the theory without really taking any sort of stand one way or the other.Yes, I thought about that too...how could you not. Which is another reason I am thinking the lynch of Wiz and save the stake for next night fall.
Now I REALLY have to go

Nothing was revealed that wasn't already known, continue the game.
Kash is dead don't listen to her. GC is dead too so nothing else can be done from that side
JMAX?!? Zombie!!!! Git 'er!AHAHAHHAHA! ..i PROBABLY WILL END UP DYING LIKE THAT! ...![]()
so sorry town, my internets been a mess with all our storms, and I ended up trying to drive to a friends house to get on in time![]()
2H:
It does answer my question, 2H; but it reeks of :bs:. Here's why:
to the bold: didn't see anything to get fired up about? 2 vamps dead isn't enough? 2 townies gunned down by friendly fire? What does it take for you to get fired up if not that? Okay, you weren't around much. That still doesn't explain (IMO), why your post reads so differently than most of your other posts in the game...9*+
to the red: actually it is a little bit of a strech... I was pretty sure Rich was townie. What did he do to make you suspect him?
Well, 2H; at this point, I believe I have a pretty good grasp on FF's game. Ever since the game where we were evil together, I've been able to read him pretty well. I'm still very wary of 2H. These recent posts aren't helping that any.
