Look more at the overall picture, Lady G. Here is how that played out.
Rich stuck his neck out defending me way too strongly on Day 3. That naturally brought many suspecting me at the time to question him. If I was scum, then why would Rich tell everyone he was so certain I was innocent..... UNLESS he had investigated me, found out my role, and had to do anything he could to turn the game back around without getting himself killed? He wouldn't.
We (the CI team) knew at that point Rich must be the Seer. And it only stood to reason the wolves would notice this too. Rich was a dead man at their next hit and he knew that.
Lab Rat had just suggested a scum team of "Kash, JM, Dag, and Rocker/Rich/UN/Piranha..." but said she couldn't decide between the last 4 names.
Dag came along then and asked questions of Lab Rat and Rich.
Dag to Lab Rat: #1138 - "Out of those last four who are your two most suspect and why?"
Dag to Rich: #1143 - "So what changed between last nightfall and this one that now makes you think LR isn't a WW?"
Dag seems to have asked these questions because he also noticed what was going on.
Rich, therefore, could also see for himself that Lab Rat was onto him.
If Rich suspected her as being a werewolf, then he knew he just might be her next hit target. He would also have noticed Dag had just made the same connection and was questioning him and her both about that.
What happened next? Look at Lab Rat's answer.
Lab Rat to Dag: #1144 - "Rich has not been giving me as much of a scummy vibe as he did earlier in the game. Though I still disagree with him on Kash, I no longer feel comfortable voting for him at this point."
Lab Rat backed off. She had already suspected him before but after he stepped out to defend me (her top suspect), she suddenly decided he's not giving her a scummy vibe? :bs: If she was innocent and honestly believed I was evil, she would have suspected Rich even more as being on the wolf team with me.
This is when she or they decided to kill Rich with their next hit. And because Rich was the next person who would die, she disassociated herself from their next kill so no one would suspect she was responsible his death.
I'm sure Rich saw this at the time as easily as I do. And having just found out I was innocent not evil, and knowing he had already defended me as an innocent.... he would naturally look at Lab Rat as a possible werewolf suspect.... who, had just decided she was going to kill him instead of try lynching him.
Rich had PLENTY of motivation at that point to say whatever he could to protect himself.
That is when Rich posted this:
Rich to Dag about Lab Rat: "I see her working hard to find scum, do not completely agree with her, but that is how I see it."
Rich's motivation if you take THAT single post in context shows he was merely trying to stay alive.
Rich was also killed by the werewolves that very next nightfall. Coincidence, Lady G?

Lady G, if you consider this entire exchange, you can see the post you quoted does NOT prove Lab Rat is innocent. She just wants you to believe it does.
Put yourself in Rich's place as a non-communicating townie Seer who stepped up to defend me from those who were attacking me and knowing he was unlikely to be protected by a non-communicating townie Priest.
Would you have accused Lab Rat openly or implied she was suspect? Of course not. That would be suicide.
You know enough about this game that in that role and in that situation you would be most vulnerable to the werewolf kill. Rich knew this too.
