The way this weekend turned out, I didn't have time today either to put into this game. I should be able to get back on briefly at some point later today, but even that is doubtful and I may not make it back until nightfall is over already. There were many things I had to get done this weekend other than participate in a mafia game. This being a holiday day for some doesn't give me a chance to spend my time as I expected with everything else going on.
That said, I accept today's lynch.
With no time to review posts, answer questions, or ask some of the things that should have been asked.... there's nothing more I can do to turn this around but tell you the statements posted by Lab Rat and Lady G all weekend have been too readily accepted by the town and remain (still) largely unchallenged.
Chill asked somewhere wondering whether I would give up so easily if I were evil?
No, not a chance. And my saying this is not a mafia tactic intended to deceive. It's an objective fact that's documented in this forum. Any one of you can go back and review this to verify whether it's true or not: I was on an evil team a few games ago. JB was innocent and, as the Seer that game, had an investigation in his pocket confirming my role. (He came after me just as hard in that game as he did against Lab Rat in this game before the wolves killed him.) JB made his accusation against me (which was true) and went as far as role claiming to pin me down. Even in a truly no-win situation like that as an evil player with the odds totally against me and knowing full well that JB investigated me, I still fought back with everything I could think of right up until the very end. And, had the gunslinger in that game been a regular townie who didn't already know JB was telling the truth even before he came out (the gunslinger was a PR too), I may have managed to dodge that shot.
No, Lab Rat and Lady G would NOT be leading everyone around today as they've done if I could have been here to challenge their game. Does that mean they still wouldn't win this game? No. Nothing in this game is ever that certain. There's only so much I can figure out, particularly early on, without making mistakes, given the limited info available to each of us. I try to improve those odds by doing more analysis than most folks bother with, but the spreadsheet/etc that I work with is only that. It's not a crystal ball. And while there's only something around a 25% chance that I received an evil role assignment starting out, there's a very high probability that I will misread people's motives, get caught up in their lies, or overthink someone's agenda/possible connections..... just like anyone else.
Anyway, Chill didn't play that other game so I imagine he didn't know this about me when he asked that question. I believe Rich did so he can confirm this for those not willing to review that prior game to check on this for themselves. Lady G.... Lab Rat.... well, as they're scum in this game now they'll only blow that off, as they've done most other relevant comments posted which didn't go their way.
I leave you with these thoughts:
The town has completely disregarded the case JB made against Lab Rat. And here's the important part:
JB's case against Lab Rat was NOT based on Zaffy.
JB recognized scum where he saw it and he's the one who told us Lab Rat was playing her mafia game. JB should know, he's been evil with her enough times to make that observation. He saw the same strategy in play that they used together in previous games.
While I had become suspicious about Lab Rat myself, the case JB presented was solid enough to confirm her as scum in my mind. For me that turning point was that Lab Rat voted Zaffy on Day 1 and suddenly needed to reverse her position about him in a hurry just a few hours after nightfall... before she even went to bed that night. Why was this so important? I took it to mean they were teammates and she had to protect her partner before anyone else suspected him. As it turned out, it was her own arse she was protecting so she wouldn't be questioned later for voting an innocent.
JB persisted in his case against Lab Rat and they killed him. I accepted Lab Rat as scum but also believed it was Zaffy her hasty reversal had implicated. So the person who made the correct call was removed by the werewolves' hit.... while I was left alive to proceed in the wrong direction after Zaffy.
Look back through the thread if you wish and you'll see it's true. Both Lab Rat and Lady G have been making the same arguments and have copped the same attitude. And their team have become increasingly blatant in their posts ever since. The wolves aren't even hiding that much anymore. I'm sure they're having a grand time the way they've monopolized this thread over the weekend.
I spent some time just now going back quite a ways to find all these questions Lab Rat claims she keeps asking me. But I couldn't find anything she actually wanted to know. All she's been doing is tossing out flippant remarks framed as questions for, I guess, dramatic effect.
Ask yourselves this: Does Lab Rat seem totally innocent now just because Zaffy was a townie? No. That kind of reasoning is just as ridiculous as it was when she concluded Zaffy couldn't be evil because Pappy wasn't evil.
The two points are not connected.
That means the town needs to evaluate Lab Rat's game on it's own terms... irrespective of Pappy's role or Zaffy's role... and yes, despite my interference as well.
That's the question we're faced with today (among many, many other questions I wish I'd been here to ask). Whether Lab Rat is innocent or evil based on her own posts.
I believe she is scum. There's no question about that and it's plain to see. The time and effort Lab Rat spent latching on to Pappy's innocence or Zaffy's innocence in her own defense was also totally self-serving. And all the posts I breezed through just now from her today?... pitiful.
Lab Rat....... are you now trying to pretend that JB's case against you or the case anyone else has against you is hinged entirely on Zaffy? If you are, then you're deliberately trying to fool us.
And your explanation for lowering your suspicion of Zaffy........ that Zaffy couldn't possibly be evil unless he was evil with Pappy. That simply was not true.
There was no direct relationship between their roles in any way.
.....which meant Zaffy could have been anything still at that point.
That's also why Lady G making such a big deal about one not following the other (Pappy and Zaffy) and trying to make it sound like Zaffy's timeline post on Day 2 was relevant (as "proof" he was not linked with Pappy on Day 1)... is a complete joke.
There was no longer any reason to question Zaffy being linked to Pappy for communicating with each other as teammates, as that possibility had already been disproved by Pappy's role being a NC townie PR. And as THAT argument had fizzled away the day before (because Papppy was already dead/townie) what relevance was there a day later to continue argueing against something that could no longer be true? But argue she did.
I did clearly point out it was a weak/confusing defense for Zaffy to make. And Lady G insisted on using that issue alone as reason to come after me.
The rest should be simple enough to follow after I'm gone.
Good luck townies! At least you can see now who to go after once my death is posted by the mod.
