It's not an issue of mod powers. Anyone can park on your user profile and check up on what page you're currently viewing. That includes if the page is PMs or not.

I'm not saying he would do either, but I'm certainly not saying he would read a PM, just see that someone is sending a PM, anyone can do that unles your invisible, a mod can still do it even when you're invisible
