Mafia #75... Assassins in the Palace - The Play

Everyone aside from the Assassin know who the King is, The King knows nothing except who they are and the same goes for the assassin. So everyone except the two know at least two ppl they can trust. How can we use this to our advantage is what I'm trying to figure out.

Well actually they don't know two people they can trust, they know two people who are innocent, one of them being themselves, and they can only trust the king to be honest, not correct as the king actually knows less than the person.

Knowing the king doesn't tell us anything useful really as hinting at that information only gets the king killed.

As of now only two things strike my mind as being off. FF seems to be quite impulsive but from what it sounds, you guys seem to think that's normal. Chill announcing that he's going to play his more regular self as to not be found suspicious. That's my interpretation of it at least. I'm not saying either of these people are or aren't scum, but there isn't much to take notes on as of yet.

Well FF is playing his usual game so that's really not any indication of his role.

As for me I might revert to my old style to blend in if I was scum but I wouldn't tell you I was reverting to my old style.

This game is going to be a crap shoot I think.

User is very quiet maybe he's just worried he can't out FF Mr Palmer.

The thing is how do you even make a determination, voting patterns mean nothing as there are no teams. Do we randomly pick one person based on some criteria and start running people off.

Do we say Razzle has only one post lets get him? If someone puts a vote out there will we all jump on? Do we just have to eliminate options till we get a narrower field?

and the oxymoron of the game award goes to Rich for "randomly pick one person based on some criteria" !

Seriously though I tend to agree that it's going to be very hard to get a read on the assassin this game. Day 1 is pretty much always a crap shoot but there's ussually a chance to learn something from it. We don't even have that this game. Just the faint hope the assassin will out themselves somehow. This is almost like a game of battleship, where you guess till someone wins. I hate battleship by the way.

Well for now I think the best strategy is to narrow the field there's absolutely no risk of hitting a PR. Unfortuanetly we will probably kill a few innocents as given that there is only one scum the odds are only 1 in 7 of getting this right. But doing nothing gets us no where.

I suggest we all vote eventhough we have very little to go on. If we wait for something to go on this could be a very long Day 1. In my next post I will throw out a vote I suggest you all do the same if you don't like my vote pick another but get a vote out there and let's go to Day 2.

That seems to me the only way to get anything done this game especially day one. I hate to just "kick some one off" just because, with know reason except, someone has to go.

So I guess I vote to lynch User

My only reason is because he has been a talkative one in other games and really hasn't said anything this round so far.

Stop reading my mind and posting my thoughts before me Chill!!!

Well, that is actually two ppl we can "trust" to not be the assassin :evil_lol:.

This brings me to a question about votes...now we all (except the assassin) know who the King is. So no one is going to want to vote the King, but in doing that wont that kinda "out" him/her eventually, but then if someone DOES vote him/her, does that make them look guilty...everyone would want to jump them for it..but in doing so THAT would out the king also?

Does it work both ways can you read what I'm thinking now :perv:

LMAO, yep I think I know, and I agree that would be FUN!!!
