Mafia #75... Assassins in the Palace - The Play

GERRR, stupid updates...I gotta restart my computer quick!

Well, that is actually two ppl we can "trust" to not be the assassin :evil_lol:.

This brings me to a question about votes...now we all (except the assassin) know who the King is. So no one is going to want to vote the King, but in doing that wont that kinda "out" him/her eventually, but then if someone DOES vote him/her, does that make them look guilty...everyone would want to jump them for it..but in doing so THAT would out the king also?

okay yes I had that thought too, not what I was thinking about at the moment though. I was a little reluctant to bring it up in the thread. No there really isn't much that can be gleaned from a vote on the king as we may want to put some votes there just to avoid the assassin figuring it out through process of elimination. A second person voting on the king might be telling but even that we wouldn't want to jump on right away
as the assassin can still take out the king once they're dead.

I know!! Then as the game progresses, and we do start to notice things about ppl and post thoughts on them...leaving the king off that process could out them also, but at the same time if you post about them it is going to draw attention your way from those who know who the King is.

The thing about votes on the King, I could see a couple going their way just to keep suspicion from the Assassin wondering why know one is voting them.

Oh, my I'm having to think WAY to much in this one, ya'll think my mind goes in circles on a normal game...you should be in there now!

Better to draw attention to yourself than to your king. Any loyal guard puts the king's life above their own.
Well, of course that is true, but doing so may also draw attention to the King. OMG, everything has a chance to do that in this set up!!!

Rich, why Razz over anyone else?
